Tarte cosmetics are awesome in that they don’t have toxic or harmful ingredients. As someone who finds it important to buy organic food products (such as milk) and grows our own produce, it’s important to me to avoid toxic products that I use daily such as make-up, shampoo, cleansers. However, these products tend to cost more, which is a bummer. For an opportunity to get free products, I’m up for it!

There is no excuse now not to be aware of how products are made and how they effect the earth-especially now that green beauty options-like Tarte- are as good, (and maybe superior) to more toxic alternatives.

I have oily skin and was afraid to wear any kind of makeup. Then a friend introduced me to the natural green beauty cosmetics from Tarte and I LOVE it. I wish I could have discovered earlier. I’m really happy with all their products, THANK YOU!!!!!

Green beauty matters to me because we need to take care of our planet. It will be here after we leave, we need to keep it tip top for the next generations.

It’s important to me mainly because I have uber sensitive skin and many chemicals irritate it causing tons of pimples and redness. Therefore I absolutely have to use products with natural ingredients. And a plus is that I don’t feel so guilty when I finish using the Tarte products and am left with their empty cases, cause they’re mostly recyclable or reusable, that’s so great!

It’s simple math for me — I apply makeup and skincare products every single day, so over time all the nasty chemicals seeping through my skin into my bloodstream, accumulating in my fat cells and organ tissue… ew.

I shop for green makeup and skincare to be beautiful naturally, not toxically! There’s loads we don’t understand yet about the chemicals beauty companies utilize, and while you can’t live paranoid forever, you might as well take advantage of the many awesome green brands out there and play it safe.

It is all about women taking care of themselves. We are bombarded by so many products that are full of chemicals. Think of the compounded exposure over time. Choosing green beauty is a way to let the world know that chemicals are not acceptable.

“Green” products help renew and protect the earth AND ourselves! Depleating natural resources hurts us and our children just as using toxic chemicals on our skin can harm us as well. Green is important on both macro and micro levels!

because, I don’t want to absorb toxic ingredients into my body through my skin – the biggest organ we have! If good things like antioxidants can help your skin, doesn’t it make sense that artificial chemicals could be harmful?

We only have one life & one planet. We have to do everything we can to help save/protect the environment. The Green movement & green beauty products are important to me because they use sustainable resources & recyclable packaging. You can look great while helping to save the environment!

It’s only in the last 20 or 30 years the we’ve finally started thinking about the things we eat and the things we use to make our selves beautiful. Looking beautiful is important, but since we know better now we want it to happen with no cost in our environment and at no cost to our health and the creatures of this beautiful earth. That’s why Tarte is such an important company in the green beauty business. They set the standard of what green in cosmetics means.

Eating and using green products is extremely important to me because I am aware of the deteriorating environment and endless city pollution around us. I really believe that these small changes we make will lead to significant improvements later on.

‘Green Beauty’ mean a lot to me because I only eat/use organic products. This is because there not stuffed with artificial ingredients as well as the fact that its better for the environment. Just read the ingrediants of a typical face lotion, do you really want to apply a product that has an ingredient such as “alkyldimethylbenzylammonium” on your face? I think not! Plus I love Mother Earth and I want her to be around as long as possible!

Green beauty matters – it matters to keep yourself beautiful looking and feeling so you perform at your peak; it matters to keep our environment beautiful for future generations! Tarte products are simply amazing feeling and looking, so you can be beautifully “green” without even noticing!
