My favorite trend is the non-foundation look. It’s such a weight off my shoulders to not wear foundation in the summer.

I love the waterproof/sweatproof eye products that Tarte has. The eyeQuatic waterproof essentials set has great colors especially the tanzanite purple. The emphasEYES™ waterproof clay eye shadow / liner pot is purfect for really hot days. I love that purple continues to be a trend.

My fav trend this summer is lilac lids with softly bronzed skin (compliments of Tarte’s Park Ave Princess), and a nude lip. I have looong hair, so I like wearing it in a side pony or a messy braid, or sometimes up in a messy updo. Keeping my face with the pop of lilac color and verything else fairly neutral brings out the green in my eyes. I also have been wearing a lot of turquoise and coral, yellows and fuscias this summer. Thin, sheer tees that go well with bright, patterned scarves. I love color, but don’t want it all on my face, enjoying it more from my clothes. Just got the Tarte’s Lock and Roll in amethyst, so am so looking forward to trying that color out to see how I like it! I love all the other Tarte shadows, but this will be my first attempt at the Lock and Rolls. Here’s to hoping I love them as much as I love everything else of Tarte’s.

I love the summer braids too, except I have no idea how to achieve the look (I can’t do a french braid). Ohterwise I love bright nail colors!
