Not only was Elizabeth Taylor a icon of beauty she carved out a name for herself in fragrances. I remember when White Diamond was first introduced in to fine retailers. She followed with Emerald, and Ruby. Each one was elagent, spicy, and completely Taylor. She will forever be remember not only as a beauty on the screen, but a woman who brings inspiration still to make up artist around the world. She truly dominated the cosmetic industry and her legacy will too!

In my opinion, one of Elizabeth Taylor's best looks was when she appeared with Richard Burton & I think it was at an airport in England. She had a swing haircut & had pulled up the side with a skinny ribbon that was tied at the top of her head in a bow. It was one of the only times I ever saw her wearing her eye liner in such a skinny line, not the real heavy line she usually wore, & it really showed off her eyelashes & her beauty mark. I can't remember if the picture shows her whole outfit, but the top was the classic, clean cut of either a shift style, either dress or pant suit. And, I'll never forget her Cleopatra look when making Marc Antony kneel before her. Her makeup was meticulously done with very strong eyes & her costume was absolutely gorgeous!! Probably an Edith Head creation. That's a classic moment in film & makeup history, for sure!
