super saturday with qvc!
Super Saturday, QVC’s annual mega sale in the Hamptons — where all net proceeds benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund — was in full effect today, and we were, once again, thrilled to be a part of it!
Not only do the proceeds from the sale go to the OCRF, but those of you who couldn’t participate in person, can help generate funds by pinning. Yes, pinning. If you’ve got a Pinterest account, then you’ve got the means to help fight ovarian cancer. Every time the image below is repinned, QVC will donate $.50 to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, up to $5,000.

hot summer color: hot pink!
Right now, the only things I want to wear are head-turning shades of solid color. I’m not sure if it was the overwhelming onslaught of soft, subtle neutrals that pervaded our wardrobes all spring, but suddenly my thirst for bright, bold, nearly shocking pops of color is unquenchable. And the most satisfying of them all has to be hot pink. Just one swipe of this electric hue is enough to perk me up – whether in the form of a sunning statement necklace, the perfect satchel, or even my all time favorite childhood chewing gum.

a colorful night at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards
So much color walked down the “pink” carpet at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards last night that we couldn’t keep track of which jewel-toned frock we liked best — the stars really stepped it up. They looked incredible, so incredible that it was hard to choose the best dressed — but we were able to narrow it down to our favorite 10.
Zooey Deschanel looked beautiful pairing her gorgeous brunette locks with this cobalt- blue Monique Lhuillier dress.

We fell in love with this charming Twiggy look-a-like the moment we saw her in An Education. Although she has the unassuming looks of a naïve waif, her complex, understated performance packed a punch and left us thinking, Who is this girl? She took even darker turns in Drive and Shame, and managed to hold her own against two powerful leading men. This fall, she’s at it again with Leonardo DiCaprio, this time as one of our favorite literary characters, Daisy Buchanan, in The Great Gatsby – and we’re sure she won’t disappoint.

Teal: what color is truer to summer than this cool, inviting shade? For me, the thought of it instantly conjures up images of ocean waves, pristine lakes, Navajo-inspired jewelry, picnic blankets, friendship bracelets, tongue-staining popsicles, and sparkling pools.
