beauty trends from the runway … to you
These looks worked in New York, they worked in London, and they can work for you. Here are our favorite spring beauty trends, straight from the New York and London catwalks – and our tips for how to rock them yourself.
1. Glow-ing steady
Models at many shows, including Carolina Herrara, Tracey Reese, Lela Rose, and The Row, looked the way we strive to look after a great workout – dewy and gorgeously flushed. Achieve the same glowy look (sans sprint) with our Maracuja blush and glow brightening luminzer and cheek tint.
2. Keep it poppin’
From Jason Wu to Prabal Gurung, several shows were smattered with bright lips in all shades, proving that this pretty trend isn’t going anywhere soon. Try our Lipsurgence lip tint line in spirited for the beautiful orangey-red we saw at J.Crew, or go with amused for a flirty pink. Layer it on for the boldest of brights, or brush it on lightly with your finger for a more sheer look.
3. Turn around, bright eyes
Everyone from Kate Spade to Michael Kors was channeling the vibrant 80’s with pops of pink and blue slathered all over lids. Try this fun trend in a more subtle way with our Amazonian clay waterproof liner; we especially love deep teal.
4. Take it all off
Probably the most refreshing makeup trend we saw this go-around was the apparent lack of it. Barely-there makeup was de rigueur at the shows of trendsetters Diane Von Furstenberg and Alexander Wang. Do the same with your gorgeous face: dot on a dollop of our smooth operator Amazonian clay illuminating serum and our smooth operator Amazonian clay tinted moisturizer to brighten and protect your skin, and that’s all you need to be a natural beauty.
