Spring break is an American institution. Once reserved only for college students, it’s now a seasonal adventure for all ages, and styles. While plotting our own mad dashes for warmer climes — New York City can be brutal in March — we looked to some of our favorite vloggers and bloggers for inspiration.
As the winter season draws to a close you can be sure of one thing, it won’t go quietly. Much like the old adage says, we’ll have to suffer through some showers before we’re greeted with spring flowers. Luckily for all fashionistas braving the rain in heels, some of today’s hottest designers have put their spin on the season’s most utilitarian accessory: the pocket umbrella.

It may just be the season, hello V-Day, but we love the bursts of pink and flashes of red suddenly popping up on every sidewalk in New York City. Whether you’re in the mood for love, or you just want to shake off the dark, dull colors of winter, sporting a key fashion piece from the rose to rouge color spectrum is must this February. And really, is there a better month to pair a fuchsia purse or a pair of candy apple sunnies with beautifully flushed cheeks or a bright red pout? More >
If you live in NYC, you know that winter is still here! And while winter gives us an excuse to wear some of our favorite accessories, there is always some winter accessories that are more gear than fashion. Gloves can be a bulky buzz kill to many chic winter outfits, but the alternative is to freeze your hands off! What to do?
Not all gloves have to be industrial looking! Here are some great gloves that will add some winter chic to your look without compromising your outfit. More >
While we love charming hats and super-cute boots and maybe a hot toddy or two, tights rank at number one on our list of wintertime essentials. They give us the chance to wear our favorite filmy frocks year-round without looking ridiculous… or freezing our gams off. They’re practically magic. The best ones, we think, accentuate an outfit without distracting from it. This season, we’ve shelved our bright tights of years past and replaced them with a repertoire of classic sheer and black patterns.
Here are a few of our favorite styles. More >

We’ve found some dream gowns for you to choose from, or to use as inspiration for your NYE look. Pop… fizz… clink! Happy new year! More >
