Actress Stephanie Lemelin’s Pilot Season Regimen
Hello! I’m very excited to be one of the first guest bloggers here on the tarte website, since I am a true believer/avid-user of these products. Admittedly, when it comes to make-up, hair, and most things fashion-related, I am not exactly a girlie-girl by nature, and often way behind the curve. However, I make my living as an actress, and these things go hand-in-hand. While it’s true there are professional make-up, hair, and wardrobe stylists on set once you’ve been cast in a role, unfortunately there aren’t any at my house before I go on auditions. And I must go on a lot of auditions before I actually get any parts! So, the step-by-step instructions that come with the easy-to-use (and adorably packaged!) tarte products have been extremely helpful! Whether I use them to help bring to life the fresh-faced, teen girl next door (p.s. I’m 30), or the evil vixen who’s out to steal your boyfriend (ummm, hello, I’m married and we’ve been together 7 years now), I rely heavily on looks I learned right here to help morph myself externally and get into character. Anyway I’m going to bring you several looks I use on the outside, to help inspire theattitude on the inside in a fun three part blog series. These characters range from the wild child, to the rocker chick, to the tomboy, to the conservative young professional… Enjoy! Oh, and because these were being publicly shared, I broke down and got some help from a pro– Thanks Coco! But you really can do these at home
