fall color inspiration: navy blue

 

It might be considered sacrilegious to say this (especially in New York), but we’re gonna risk it: sometimes, we get tired of black. Gasp! But It’s true. Our go-to outfits generally involve hefty amounts of the inky color, which is easy to wear and chic – and also pretty boring day-in and day-out. So, what’s a busy woman to do?  Lately, we’ve been spicing up our everyday wardrobe with navy blue, another neutral that has a bit more sparkle and pizzazz than basic black. Girls is being hailed as the next generation’s Sex and the City – and one that’s a little more true to life than the gilded un-reality of Carrie Bradshaw’s gorgeous apartment packed with Manolos and Dior.
