From a glam look for a premiere to a flawless complexion, Amy can create any look with just a quick swirl of her makeup brush. tarte first started working with Amy a few years ago when she was Makeup Artist Department Head on a little show you might have heard of… Gossip Girl!! Today as she conquers new projects, we’re happy to follow her amazing work and continue to count her as a loyal tarte fan (she has even won an Emmy Award for her fabulous skills!). I had the pleasure of recently catching up with Amy and hearing about what inspires her work. She’s often inspired by nature, an exciting new makeup color, a costume or fashionable outfit, someone’s personality, the time of day, an old movie…and the list goes on! To Amy inspiration is limitless and ever-evolving. That being said I feel inspired just chatting with her!
