Maxi Dresses
Definition of the maxi dress: slimming, stylish, sexy, comy-chic, accessible… and the list goes on! This dress could possibly be your best friend this summer—amazing designers are offering it in all types of vibrant patterns and colors this season. Once a week, I try wearing one of the six that I own. They’re just so soft and comfortable; I mean it’s like an acceptable nightgown (based on comfy factor, of course). Thrown on with a pair of stylish sandals, some long necklaces and bangles, you’re ready to go! Celebs such as Lauren Conrad and Jessica Alba rely on this dress to look stylish and sleek for a night out or dinner with friends. Dazzle it up with a wedge shoe, loose wavy hair, and a pop of color on the lip with tarte’s rise and shine lip gloss in pink. Heading to the beach or running some errands? Just as easily, you can dress this look down with flip flops and a side braid.

Clutch Play
Like shoes, bags should change with the seasons. Winter= oversized and dark. Summer=petite and bright. During the months of pool-lounging and burger-grubbing, do you really want to be purse-lugging? Nope, didn’t think so. Tartelettes, put away those beastly, black bags and get to looking for a chic, colorful clutch.

Marc Jacobs “Love Story” Clutch is truly a lesson in romance with its layers upon layers of leathery hearts. After reading of my devotion for the Juicy Couture heart bracelet, I know you’re thinking, “Hmmm…sounds like somebody like likes that heart motif.” Well, I confess, tartelettes. I have discovered yet another heart-themed piece that gets my thumper racing.
Ok, style students, I have given you a list of summer satchels that covers every price range, but most importantly offers styles that are simply irresistible. So take a break from the sunning and get to shopping!

With the temps creeping into the 80s (wooo-hooo, finally!), it’s about time to start doing the new season shuffle. Bye-bye, boots and scarves! Why, hi, short-shorts and bikinis! If you’re at a loss as to what’s hot for well…the hot, I have compiled a list of warm-weather wonders that’s sure to get your sartorial heart-rate pumping!
Popular with fashionistas and hipsters alike, TOMS is a shoe brand that turns shopping into service. For each pair of shoes purchased, the company donates a pair to a child in need. Buh-bye, shoppers remorse! I am in L-O-V-E with this green tie-dye style!
I am a jewelry fiend and fanatic. Therefore, the moment my peepers caught this deliciously chunky jewel with its offbeat color palette of neutrals and bright greens, it was love. I’m not usually a fan of heart motifs, but this little piece had me singing Stacy Q’s 80s hit “Two of hearts, two hearts that beat as one!” G&P, you girls have done it again!
They say eight glasses of H20 is the secret to glowing skin. I say tarte’s eyeQuatic set is the true key to a flawless face. Its hues of blue, gold and violet will give lids that perfect splash of summer chic. As we’ve already established my deep devotion to Lights, Camera, Lashes…it only seems right that I’ll fall just as hard for its water-proof cousin- Lights, Camera, Splashes! And how recessional chic is the bonus Missoni-esque scarf! Jump in, chicsters, the water feels great!
Though I got a little Longchamp-ed out during my four years in college, there is something about this classic French brand that resonates style. I’m rejecting the classroom-variety colors (red, navy, black) and going for the green. This kiwi color will act as a fun pop of color for casual summer looks. I’m so into this little Longchamp, I’ve already planned what I’ll be piling into it. The newest Emergen-c flavor- PomCran- for a mid-day boost, my beloved Spring Greening kit- I am literally obsessed with the flirty eye hues and the hilarious Like I Give a Frock, a book of “Fashion forecasts and meaningless misguidance.”
