We put together a list of our top 8 natural beauties and man no makeup is even required. It’s November and that means time to meet a new artist whose work makes us go gaga! Introducing… Amy Nadine! Not only have I always been a fan of her work (I’ve replicated Lauren Conrad’s cat eye & pink lip combo on numerous occasions), but after chatting with her I realized this creative genius also has a heart of gold. If she isn’t glamming-up some of Hollywood’s prettiest faces, then she’s bringing attention to rescue dogs that desperately need a loving home (that’s her pup Sprewell featured above!). Amy & I began working together when she used tarte’s LipSurgence™ in lust on Krysten Ritter for the premiere of Get Him to The Greek. Currently, as the Head of the Makeup Department, Amy has the cast of BFF & Baby addicted to tarte’s LipSurgence™, too. Check out Amy’s Q+A above and browse her website here: http://www.amynadine.com/. She is sure to impress.
Young Hollywood hit the Red Carpet Sunday night for MTV’s 2010 Movie Awards. As usual some over-the-top looks had me a little puzzled, but; hey, I speak fashion and love a good risk-taker any day. After browsing through all of the pics from the night, I couldn’t help but notice how much I appreciate the “natural beauty” look. With sunkissed skin, perfectly lined eyes & barely-there lips, Victoria Justice, Whitney Port and Jessica Biel all rocked this look. It’s all about complimenting your best features. Their easy blow-outs added a finishing touch to an overall sexy summer look. With pre-show events, weather conditions, paparazzi, the actual show and the after parties, these ladies needed their makeup to stand up to the test of time. So, here is where I come in with some useful info. I promise: you can get this look with just three products. It’s sure to last you from morning to night… and then some. Start by applying park ave princess matte waterproof bronzer to temples, cheeks, jawline and nose. Line eyes with emphasEYES™ clay shadow/liner in brown; use the included brush to smudge to your desire. Pucker up with rise & shine natural lip stain and plumping gloss in nude. That’s it! Go ahead and give it a whirl, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
