Strong Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point skills
Familiarity with social media channels
Cosmetic sales experience is a PLUS
Knowledge of basic HTML is a PLUS
Familiarity with Affiliate marketing and Google programs (Analytics, Adwords) a PLUS, but not required

tarte cosmetics is seeking a Spring 2012 intern for the PR department. Potential candidate must be energetic, creative, proactive, extremely organized and detail-oriented. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate student or recent college grad looking to gain experience in the field. Knowledge of the beauty industry and interest in cosmetics is definitely a plus!
Internship Opportunities/Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring & updating contact databases (media, celebrity, make-up artists, etc.)
2. Coordinating product mailings for makeup artists, films, charity events, award shows, media, celebrities and make-up artists
3. Compiling and maintaining press clips
4. Researching industry trends
5. Assisting the PR & Marketing Manager
6. Administrative Duties
Work Schedule: Negotiable during weekdays 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (at least 2 days/week)

Tarte cosmetics is seeking a SPRING SEMESTER intern to assist the company's graphic/web designer. Potential candidate must be energetic, creative, proactive, extremely organized and detail-oriented. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate student looking to gain experience in the field. Knowledge of the beauty industry and interest in cosmetics is definitely a plus!
Requirements:
1. MUST be skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
2. Web/HTML scripting and design knowledge.
3. MUST have personal laptop with design programs.
Internship Opportunities/Responsibilities:
1. Updating website elements including home page image, buttons, etc.
2. Creating, designing, scripting email blast campaigns.
3. Photo retouching/editing.
4. Creating, designing and mocking up promotional items.
5. Creating, designing and mocking up product packaging.
6. Light administrative duties.
