How much does shipping cost? How will my order be shipped?
Standard Shipping on orders up to $30 is $5.00.
Standard Shipping on orders up to $39.99 is $6.00.
Standard Shipping on orders $40 or more is FREE.
Expedited shipping options are also available for an additional fee. These options are listed at check out.


Standard shipping is FedEx Ground. Your order will arrive approximately 7-10 business days from date of purchase. You may pay extra for expedited shipping. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged an additional fee of $25. Sorry, but we currently do not ship internationally.


How long will it take to ship?
Your order will arrive approximately 7-10 business days from date of purchase. Please allow 24 hours for your order to process. Orders placed after noon EST will be processed the following business day.


Does Tartecosmetics.com ship to P.O. Boxes?
Tarte.com does not ship to P.O. Boxes.


Does tarte ship internationally? Where can I buy tarte internationally?Is tarte looking for international distribution opportunities?
Tarte does NOT currently ship orders internationally including Canada. Tarte is available in select Canadian Sephora stores and one small boutique in Australia (Please see our locate tarte section for more information). Tarte is NOT currently looking for international distribution, all inquires will be disregarded.



returns?

tarte cosmetics will gladly accept returns on tarte.com orders within 30 days.

  • You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return any item in your order from www.tarte.com.
  • Securely wrap the package and send your return to the address below via Fed Ex, UPS or insured Parcel Post from the US Postal Services for your protection and to ensure prompt credit. Tarte is not responsible for returned articles lost during transit.
  • Be sure to include your complete contact info with your return including your name, address, phone number, email address, and tarte.com order number


    Your return will be processed promptly upon its arrival. Processing time for returns is usually 15 business days from the time the return is received. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays. An email will be sent to confirm receipt and processing of your return. Sorry, shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

    We only accept returns for items purchased through www.tarte.com. If you purchased a tarte item from a retail

    placing an order


    How do I order online?
    1. Add product(s) to your order by selecting a product, shade and quantity, choose "add to shopping bag."
    2. Your total order amount will appear in your shopping bag, where you can click on "continue shopping" or "checkout."
    3. When you press “check out” simply log in to your account (if you have one) or fill out the required shipping and billing information and press “submit order”.
    4. We'll process your order within 1-2 business days; you get an immediate e-mail that confirms your order.


    What credit cards do you accept?
    Tarte accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.Please note we do not accept checks or money orders.


    The product I want is out of stock, what happens now?
    If some of the items in your order are temporarily out of stock, we will ship the available items only and notify you of any products that cannot be fulfilled. Currently, we do not offer "back orders" for products that are not available at the time your order is placed.


    I haven't received my order, my order is missing items, or my shipment is late?
    Please send an email to info@tartecosmetics.com with your order number and preferably the order confirmation email and we will get back to you ASAP.


    How much is the sales tax?
    We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders being shipped to New York and New Jersey (where our Corporate Office and Warehouse are located.) If your order is being shipped to any other destination in the U.S., sales tax will not be charged. Sales tax charges are based upon the state where your order is being shipped. All applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated during the checkout process.


    I received an error message while trying to place an order, what do I do?
    Our website works best with IE7 and Mozilla Firefox. To help resolve this issue you may want to delete your computers cookies and empty the cache as these sometimes interfere with online merchants. If this problem persists, please contact web@tarte.com .

    Does tarte test on animals?
    Tarte cosmetics, established in 2000, has not tested and will never test any product in the tarte cosmetics line on animals.Tarte is cruelty free.


    I have allergies to certain ingredients, can you give me a list of products that do not contain this allergen?
    At the bottom of every tarte product page in the tarte shop there is an ingredient listing where you can find the ingredients to the products you’re interested in. Tarte cannot guarantee that any ingredients or products were produced in an allergen free environment.

    Does tarte offer free samples? How can I receive free samples?
    tarte offers a free sample with purchase through our tarte tokens program. You may choose your free sample at check out.


    I’m interested in your custom lipglosses, can you give me some more information?
    Custom lipglosses can be ordered in any lipgloss pair you like, (Johnny/Baby, Luke/Laura, Winnie/Kevin, etc.) Sorry but at this time you cannot break-up a pair and create your own set of colors. Depending on how many lipglosses you order, we offer different discounts. The minimum lipgloss order is 25. Order 25-50 lipglosses and receive 40% off retail. Order 50-75 lipglosses and receive 45% off retail. Order 75 or more lipglosses and receive 50% off retail. We need at least 90 days notice to personalize the lipglosses; anything sooner would have to incur an expedited fee. There is also a $25 admin fee that applies to any quantity of personalized lipglosses. Once you lipglosses are personalized they will arrive in approximately 7-10 business days. The price for shipping will depend on final shipping location. For more information please email info@tartecosmetics.com.


    I’m looking for a discontinued product? Can you tell me what products have been discontinued?
    To purchase a discontinued product or view our discontinued products please visit the memory lane section of our tarte shop. In the memory lane section you will have the chance to purchase discontinued tarte product one last time. Once they are gone they will not be restocked. If the discontinued product you are looking for is not in the memory lane section it is likely that it is no longer available. You can email info@tartecosmetics.com to inquire further.

    Does tarte offer discounts or samples for makeup artists?
    Yes, tarte offers a professional discount to makeup artists. Please visit tarte pro: http://tartecosmetics.com/submit-resume.php. Here you can upload your resume for consideration. We'll review it and notify you within two weeks. If approved, you'll receive a tarte pro unique promo code for 40% off that is valid once a month.
