How much does shipping cost? How will my order be shipped?
Standard Shipping on orders up to $30 is $5.00.
Standard Shipping on orders up to $39.99 is $6.00.
Standard Shipping on orders $40 or more is FREE.
Expedited shipping options are also available for an additional fee. These options are listed at check out.
Standard shipping is FedEx Ground. Your order will arrive approximately 7-10 business days from date of purchase. You may pay extra for expedited shipping. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and Puerto Rico can only be sent via Fed Ex standard shipping.
How long will it take to ship?
Your order will arrive approximately 7-10 business days from date of purchase. Please allow 72 hours for your order to process. Orders placed after noon EST will be processed the following business day.
Does Tartecosmetics.com ship to P.O. Boxes?
Tarte.com does not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Unfortunately, at this time tarte does not currently ship orders internationally including Canada. Tarte is available in select Canadian Sephora stores and one small boutique in Australia (Please see our locate tarte section for more information). We love our tartelettes around the world and are looking into options for expansion in the near future.
tarte cosmetics will gladly accept returns on tarte.com orders within 30 days unless the item is marked as final sale.
- You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return items in your order from www.tarte.com.
- Securely wrap the package and send your return to the address below via Fed Ex, UPS or insured Parcel Post from the US Postal Services for your protection and to ensure prompt credit. Tarte is not responsible for returned articles lost during transit.
- Be sure to include your complete contact info with your return including your name, address, phone number, email address, and tarte.com order number

Your return will be processed promptly upon its arrival. Processing time for returns is usually 15 business days from the time the return is received. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays. An email will be sent to confirm receipt and processing of your return. Sorry, shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

How do I order online?
1. Add product(s) to your order by selecting a product, shade and quantity, choose "add to shopping bag."
2. Your total order amount will appear in your shopping bag, where you can click on "continue shopping" or "checkout."
3. When you press “check out” simply log in to your account (if you have one) or fill out the required shipping and billing information and press “submit order”.
4. We'll process your order within 1-2 business days; you get an immediate e-mail that confirms your order.

We understand how important security is to you. When you place an order on tartecosmetics.com, we encode your information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology (you'll see the shopping cart switch from http to https). What credit cards do you accept?
Tarte accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Please note we do not accept gift cards, banking gift cards, international credit cards, checks or money orders.
The product I want is out of stock, what happens now?
If some of the items in your order are temporarily out of stock, we will ship the available items only and notify you of any products that cannot be fulfilled. Currently, we do not offer "back orders" for products that are not available at the time your order is placed.
I haven't received my order, my order is missing items, or my shipment is late?
Please send an email to email@example.com with your order number and preferably the order confirmation email and we will get back to you ASAP.
How much is the sales tax?
We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders being shipped to Pennsylvania, Florida, California, New York and New Jersey. If your order is being shipped to any other destination in the U.S., sales tax will not be charged. Sales tax charges are based upon the state where your order is being shipped. All applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated during the checkout process.
I received an error message while trying to place an order, what do I do?

Is tarte cruelty free?
Yes. tarte cosmetics is a cruelty-free cosmetics line. tarte makeup and skincare is never tested on animals.
What are tarte's guidelines for international products?
All ingredients and finished formulas tarte uses are tested and based on US FDA requirements before being imported to the US. We only work with highly reputable laboratories and factories that meet the strictest GMP standards, which is an international grading scale for cleanliness and the environment for workers that abide by a strict code of standards. We also test each product ourselves to match our quality standards. Additionally, we are an approved PETA participant; they have audited our non-animal testing procedures.
I have allergies to certain ingredients, can you give me a list of products that do not contain this allergen?
At the bottom of every tarte product page in the tarte shop there is an ingredient listing where you can find the ingredients to the products you’re interested in. Tarte cannot guarantee that any ingredients or products were produced in an allergen free environment.
Does tarte offer free samples? How can I receive free samples?
tarte offers a free sample with purchase through our tarte tokens program. You may choose your free sample at check out. Please note that while we make our best effort to deliver you the sample you chose, samples can change at any time and are subject to availability.
