Apply the medium shade all over lids using a shadow blending brush. Blend the darkest shade in the crease then highlight below browbone with the lightest shade.
For an intense look, apply the darkest shade as a liner and smudge out.

I love the colors and I love the compact, but there must be something about this one. Other pallets have always been fine, but it must be the way they put them in the compact because the bottom right color just started cracking out of no where. It was fine when I bought it; I haven't dropped it. A little chunk came out and I thought nothing of it, but now a new chunk cracks off every time I open it. The eye shaddow is great, but beware of this compact, esp. if you travel with your make up. You'll end up with a mess.

Just got this in the Shades of Clay, and these look even more beautiful in person!!!Very pigmented, smooth, and the colors are just gorgeous neutral shades of brown and taupes. So glad I got this!!

Love these eyeshadows. I got one in a QVC kit and love how nicely these eyeshadows apply. I also love the colors and the consistency of the shadow. They go wonderfully with tarte's eye primer :)

Love this shadow set. They are such lovely natural colors. The texture is smooth, and the pigment is gorgeous. I only use Tarte and one other brand for eyeshadows. If you are on the fence, try it. I doubt you'll regret it.

I have this in the shades of clay. The shimmering buff works great to highlight under my brow and the insides of my eye and I use it everyday no matter what colors of eye shadow I'm wearing. I do feel that I need to apply the shimmering cocoa shade heavily to get the intensity I want. Great color palatte for evening and long lasting.

i absolutely love this palette. it's travel friendly and the colors are so pigmented that they last an extremely long time. the colors also go together but you can always play around with the colors to put together different looks. definitely a great product!

IN SHADES OF CLAY: not pigmented, need a lot of product to make it lightly visible, lasts about 4 hours then begins to fade, and VERY DISAPPIONTED with the country this prodect is made.
