I have purchased this concealer several times and love it, but I have decided not to purchase again until I can purchase it without the brush. I would give the concealer five stars (or more) if I could purchase it without the brush.
I don't know what to do with all the unused brushes -- I am trying to go green, and have decided that I am only contributing to the problem if I continue to buy the concealer with the brush. I've read the reviews on several different websites and others have requested that the concealer be sold without the brush.
I noticed on the Tarte website that they are going green, so I hope that they practice what they preach and offer this without the brush. You will most likely see sales on this item increase as the concealer will be more affordable for those of us who have to watch our money.

I've always had dark circles under my eyes, and previously used benefit boi-ing for years. I've officially converted to Circle Defense. I love that it comes with a brush, and although it's a bit pricey, it lasts a long time. I can't say I've noticed an improvement in my under eye circles, but at least I can camouflage them with this product. It really brightens my eyes, and isn't too heavy or cakey. Would you buy this product again? Yes
I LOVE this under eye concealer!!! I have tried hundreds (not kidding) of concealers to hide my dark circles; from drug store purchases to high end purchases, nothing comes close to this! This is a miracle for my dark circles that I inherited. This does not settle into fine lines and it goes on very smooth! I also use it to cover up blemishes that pop up every now and then and it does wonders covering those up too! This is my absolute favorite Tarte product! I'm a gal who's constantly fighting with my dark under-eye circles and this concealer keeps them hidden SO well. This has become a must have in my makeup collection. Being a full time graduate student, professor, and mother means that I don't get much sleep which results in dark circles around my eyes. I've been hunting for an under eye concealer for quite sometime because most other products look cakey and draw attention to my dark circles rather than concealing them.
This product is just the opposite! Not only does it cover my circles, but it also helps to reduce the puffiness. It is also easy to apply and feels very light and creamy on the skin. I use the brush that comes with the concealer to dab it on and then I use my finger to continue to pat and blend.

Best concealer I have ever used. i have a surface facial vein under my eye. This product conceals this and my daughter has dark circles and has tried many products. This stuff really grows on you. I have used lots of eye concealer and either thrown them all away or returned them. I think this one's a keeper. Applied right, it does not cause creasing. This is a big thing for me - I'm really paranoid about it. I apply it and stare at the mirror and take mental before and after snapshots. I think that this does not cause creases. And since wrinkles can happen when your eyes are too dry, this product keeps your eyes really moisturized and soft and therefore minimizes wrinkles. Conceals very well and stays on all day. So far, favorite part of my morning routine. I'm starting to feel like I can't live without it. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I have hereditary dark circles, deep-set eyes, and oily skin. First I tried using this by itself, but I find it works better if I apply another concealer on top. I don't find that it settles into my fine lines or accentuates the circles, but it does seem to "slide" after a while. I am going to try Smooth Operator and see if that fixes the sliding, because otherwise I really like it. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I have very sensitive skin around my eyes and have to be careful with what I use so they do not dry out. I can use this daily and feel that it has helped to balance the skin around my eye area. I have it fair to light and light to medium so I will always be set no matter what season! I usually don't like using a brush to apply concealer because it can leave brush marks, but this one surprisingly does not! It works really well with the creamy consistency of this concealer...and I can keep my fingers clean! Love it :) The finish is not matte but not quite dewey, I do like to set it with powder. I have tried this product with Tart primer underneath, a little product, applying with my finger tips, applying with a brush, using barely any product, without primer, set with powder, left it alone to settle naturally, and still have had no solution with this product. No matter how I try to apply this product it always settles in fine lines below my eyes and where my eyelids crease. It has a very sticky consistency and though the color matches my Ivory 02 foundation, I just can't get it to do what I want. However, a NEW product that is being pre-released on QVC, the Maracuja waterproof creaseless concealer, is a-a-a-a-amazing! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Wow this concealer has done everything they said it would. I rarely have puffiness. Only if I was up all night crying and that happens to everyone. No unexplained puffing anymore. My dark circles are significantly less noticeable. I did not notice it, probably because it was gradual over time. I was using less, but in the morning did not really note or pay attention to that either. That is until I went for a facial. As I was getting eye gel on I was asked what I was doing. I was told to keep it up. This is the only eye product I have changed. If you have hereditary dark circles, give this a go. Worst case, it simply covers your dark circles. I like to apply before my foundation. I use a shade darker (which is better under the eye actually). Blend it a touch with my tarte actm. If I could only use two tarte products they would be this and the tinted moisturizer. Would you buy this product again? Yes

It has the great coverage, and brighten effect for under eye. I use agent10 tinted moisturizer and I need to top this corrector with the earaser concealor, because I don't like having a white circle below my eye. I believe any skin tone lighter than mine may not need to top this with any concealor that matches the skin tone. It does settle a bit in my fine lines though. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I had high hopes for this concealer, and I will admit it is alright. My only complaint is the color range. If you are looking at this product online as I did, I would suggest to go to a store that sells tarte products so you are able to get the perfect color to match your skin! I am quite tan so I bought the medium to deep color choice but, it turned out to be a tad too dark for my under eye area. And I am just assuming it works better to have a lighter concealer.. Other than that this concealer is very creamy and comes with a good concealer brush but, it can look too think if you don't run your finger over it after applying. There is some creasing after the day goes on, much better than a drugstore concealer though. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This stuff really works! I have to admit I was skeptical but I felt like my eyes were starting to give away my age so I thought I would give it a try. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product! Did I tell you how much I love it? I have always had dark circles under my eyes and they only get worse if I don't drink enough water or get enough rest. I travel a lot for work and rarely get enough sleep so my under eye circles get so dark they almost look like bags. This is a very creamy concealer, which has resulted in some settling into the fine lines around my eyes.
I didn't get a brush with mine, so pat it on with my fingers. I don't like having to put my fingers in my makeup, though. It does a good job with my raccoon eyes, but doesn't seem to last all day. It's highly pigmented, and a little goes a long way, so this should last a long time. Wish there were more colors to choose from, too. Would you buy this product again? Yes

this lasts FOREVER! I wish there was more of a color selection. it'd also be nice if it was slightly more of a creamy texture and maybe packaged so that it could squirt out of a tube or something, to be more hygienic. I do like this product however sometimes it can get into the crease under my eye and not look so great, so I mostly just apply on the inner corners and blend it out very thin, which is a little less coverage than I would like. I decided to write another review because I have been using it for a while now. I love tarte concealers, well the four I have tried. I have hereditary dark circles and I get puffiness under the eyes. This concealer has helped a good deal with the puffiness. It also covers the under eye darkness beautifully. I just wish it came in a true fair color and a true deep. The fair/light is a touch too dark for my fair wearing skin (I wear the lightest shade of foundation that tarte makes). It works if I am not wearing any foundation, but with foundation it just won't blend. I think if you wear the second lightest foundation/tinted moisturizer by tarte, this will work for you. If you do not wear foundation, but are very fair it will work. If you are very fair and wear a fair foundation, you can use it but only on the actual darkness. Not all over the eye area. Just thought I would update. If tarte made a fair I would repurchase. I have been using it daily and I have barely made a dent in mine. It is expensive, but worth it if you fit into the available shades. Would you buy this product again? Yes

The foundation color I use is IVORY 02 it's a perfect match with LIGHT-TO-MEDIUM concealer. I applied the concealer under my sleep-deprived eyes with small patting motions with the brush included before adding my foundation and topping it off with SMOOTH OPERATOR. After 10 hours of work, it still looks great and gave my eyes needed moisture in the dry desert. A little of this concealer goes a long way! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Awesome concealer! I have redness & dark circles under my eyes and on my eye lids. This completely does the trick. I dont use the brush, just dab it on and blend with my ring finger. However, on a hot day it seems to creep into fine lines but nothing a little more light blending can't fix. The best concealer that I have ever used. I love it so much that I bought one for my mother in her fifties, she says it is the best concealer that she has ever used too. Number one, it actually covers dark circles. Imagine that, an under eye concealer that actually conceals! Two, it does not settle into fine lines and does not settle into full blown wrinkles. Three, it stays on. My mom is dry, I lean oily and it lasts on both of us. Four, it looks natural, blends easily into your skin tone OR into your foundation. Five, it is good for your eye area. My mother is saying that it has helped, over time, with the puffiness that she has. I am very fair, wear the fair foundation and got the fair to light. My mother is medium to tan in the summer, she got the medium to tan. The color selection is very nice. I will say that after looking at the two if you are on the darker end of a color, you may want to go up one. If you are a darker light, go to the light to medium. I used to think that I could just use the same concealer that I use on my face, under my eyes. I now know that it is better to get one that is made for the eyes, it has made a huge difference. I love this concealer! It really does work to cover the darkness and then to decrease puffy eyes as well. I use this with Tarte's "Lifted" eyehadow primer and It really opens up the look of my tired eyes and stressed skin. Like many other reviewers I love the product but have two main complaints- There need to be many more shades and the brush should be sold seperately. I don't know what I will do after I buy my 3rd or 4th pot of this and am stuck with just as many concealer brushes. It seems wasteful to me because...some of them have to go in the trash before their time just because a new one comes with each purchase. I feel like this is a little bit enviornmentally irresponsible. The brush is great quality, if sold seperately then the product wouldn't seem so expensive and the brushes wouldn't go to waste. Also I have very pale skin and I find all of Tarte's make up to be a hair dark (although manageable), and wish they would open up to lighter/deeper/ in between shades. These concealers are especially hard to match with only 4 shades available

Just got this as a compliment to the 4 in 1 eraser. It's a nice lighter alternative and I think the two will work well together. My dark circles immediately disappeared and it was very easy to apply. I actually received this in the flawless face kit about a year ago from sephora, & I wasn't that impressed, however after reading all reviews on it, it seems u need to use the primer before applying. This is the main reason y I bought that kit, I have medium skin tone, & I couldn't seem to make it work for me,(maybe got too dark), I am going to give it another try & apply it correctly, I'm hoping it will be amazing like the other products that came in that kit. I absolutely LOVE this. First product ever to completely cover my dark under eye circles.
Shade wise fair-light is a hair darker than my skin tone (I'm extremely pale), but is it workable.
Will definitely repurchase but would like to have the option to purchase without the concealer brush. Would you buy this product again? Yes

It works good... but u need to play with it and blend it. Don't think once u put it on its going to look great. I'm 26 when I first put it on it made my eyes look 40 but once u play with it and blend it it works good. It made my eyes feel very soft. I liked it. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I have horrible dark circles. This product does an ok job of covering them...frankly, I don't think I'll ever get them covered. It brightens up the area so it doesn't look so shadowy. At first it appears that it'll be too thick on the under eye area, but it blends out nicely and doesn't crease. It also looks good over dark spots or blemishes elsewhere on the face. It applies a little lighter than it looks in the pot, which is great because I'm very fair ( I bought fair-light). If there were a lighter shade, however, I would get that instead. You get a lot of product in the pot, so I think it'll last a while. It's a great value since you get a long-lasting product and a very nice brush. Usually I don't use brushes that come with products because they are almost always sub-par, but Tarte always includes a quality tool. Would you buy this product again? Yes
I have allergies and very fair skin, so I usually have undereye circles so dark it looks like I got punched. This is the first concealer that I've found that actually covers my dark circles, but it's not cakey and obvious that I'm trying to cover something up. I haven't been using it long enough to notice a change in my puffiness, but at this point that would just be a bonus since I'm happy with the coverage aspect of this product. I'm 56 and this concealer is the best I've found in the past decade. As an older woman the skin around my eye area is delicate besides having dark circles and some puffiness. The product reduces puffiness within 15 minutes and the dark circles are covered for over 10 hours with no update. This is terrific. It covers my dark circles and brightens the purple looking lash line that I have. smooth, creamy and stays in place. The little brush is great for getting it where I want it. I have pale skin and I use the lightest shade. I worry about shades not matching as sometimes even the lightest shades look dark on me. This matches perfectly. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I love the formula! its is very moisturizing & doesnt crease as easily as other brands I've tried. The thing is they definitely need more shades. I purchase the med dark & it has a very red undertone.. I'm more golden & a peach corrector would have worked better. :(.. I will be on the look out for an additions. This is by far one of the best concealers I have used. It is a little pricier compared to most concealers, but a little goes a long way, so the price is completely worth it. I really love Tarte products and got my first intro thru QVC, however, I wish Maureen would make more colors. I need a definite medium color and the light one is too light and I am too afraid that the darker one might be too dark. I don't want to have to buy the darker one and then start mixing, so I sincerely hope that Tarte comes out with more shades (similar to what most products do). Two shades don't work on everyone's skin tones. The consistency is great and love the brush with it to get up to the lash lines. I hope that these reviews get read. Then I think you will see this as a five star for almost everyone once more shades are offered. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I've had dark circles forever and was a little hesitant to stray from my old concealor. At first I was not that impressed, I thought it was sticky and heavy and hard to blend. I finally learned how to apply it easiest. I apply it right after I put on my under eye cream or makeup primer and it blends so easily and covers flawlessly! It's like it puts up a wall of color to hide the dark circles. And it lasts a while. I am definatly making the switch to the Tarte brand. Such better quality ingredients for the same price of talc-y, paraben-filled, animal tested products! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Great concealer. Does not dry out on my skin, or emphasize my just-starting-to-show fine lines under my eyes. Love that it comes with a brush that I also use to apply shadow. Also, product stays moist in the packaging it comes in. It does not dry out. I have sensitive skin around my eyes and this is just wonderful. I've been using this product for about six months now. I tried this at my friends house and boy what a difference. My racoon eyes dissapeared. I moisturized and primed before I applied it and it didn't cake or crease at all. I wore it to school then work and it lasted all day. HG product for me ! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I was actually hesitant to purchase this product due to the price for 2 weeks but then decided to just go for it....and I'm glad I did!! It does a PERFECT job!!! I instantly threw away my old concealer and have been using this since. It gives the right amount of coverage and you don't even have to use much of the product! I'm excited that it came with a brush, I'm kinda funny about applying make up with my fingers and would prefer brushes or sponges, plus I am not a huge fan of those that has the brush connected to the product so this one works. Love the Tarte Circle Defense! It conceals the darkness and is an overall great concealer for me. I would aboslutely purchase this product again as well as recommend this to family and friends. It is worth the cost of the product as it is so nice and easy to apply. You might have to touch up or re apply later on in the day but that is A okay with me since my eyes look so much brighter with this product. Best of all it is cruelty free! WOW, I absolutely love this concealer. I purchased the medium-to-deep for my olive skin color. I thought it would be a bit dark or off but it actually looks too perfect. It has brighten my eyes and looks as if I am not wearing any concealer. It does occasionally crease so make sure you use it lightly---a little goes a long way. I think it is a bit pricey compare to most concealers, however, you definitly get what you pay for! So worth it!

This is a great product, but I've found it doesn't work as good as the 4-in-1. I think if you combine the 2, it would be an absolute GREAT product. Start with this one, then complete with just a dab of the 4-in-1 and you've got the perfect eye concealer that makes your eyes look amazing. Will definitely have to try that this week. It you have very pale skin, this really isn't the concealer for you. Works better for medium and beige tones. would like it far better if there were more shade selections. As time progresses, the area I used to use with this product has become smaller and smaller as it truly heals as well as conceals. I have found a little on my eyelids really acts as a great primer and life extender for my shadows. I have been searching for the perfect concealer. I have a slight bit of darkness under my eyes and most concealers are heavy and pull on the delicate eye area. Some settle in the fine lines. Some don't cover at all. Tarte Circle Defense has them all beat. It goes on smooth (no tugging on skin), does not settle in fine lines, covers very well, and has no parabens! Finding a concealer without parabens is no easy task. I've been using it about a month and I noticed the darkness under my eyes is diminishing.
