Great product! At first I used it as suggested, in the inner rim. It did not look well on me and found it to look a little weird. Instead, I use it on the upper/inner eyelid and it truly makes my eyes pop. It is such a beautiful natural color, as opposed to a white eyeliner used for the same purpose. I love this product, it just gives your eyes that gentle pick-me up w/o screaming "i'm wearing makeup!". It is my go to on a daily basis. I do take it with me for reapplication b/c just the slightest breeze will make my eyes water, and there it goes. But, it is a great alternative to stark white waterline liners of the past. I initially got this to line my lower eye rim but have since started using it as an eyeliner at the bottom (I blend it a little - I'm actually trying to make it clumpy so there is something to blend really close to my lower lashes and then use concealer under my eyes to hide the red from allergies). I also use this to hide the dark spots at the inner corner of my eye, it's sharp and thin and reaches very well.
I am also pregnant and I am getting little capillaries that are showing on my cheeks, this works PERFECT for covering those tiny red spots...from a distance you probably can't see them but they bother me and this stuff works great! I've also developed some weird red spots at the corners of my lips, a reaction to another product I was using, this covers those really well with no additional spots - I should mention I have super fair skin. I love this stuff! I also love that there aren't any nasty chemicals in it, I am extremely sensitive to chemicals and can't use anything store bought...I've tried a million products and I break out in a rash wherever the other stuff has touched my skin, Tarte is a bargain compared to the $$ I've spent trying to find something that works. As far as breaking goes, I haven't had any issues at all (I keep it twisted down when I use it though) it also blends well, I use a small lip liner brush to blend it - a little goes a really long way. This product was AMAZING! This liner is now part of my everyday morning routine. I love the creamy consistency, and how it corrects the pink toned part of my waterline, without having that harsh white color that many brighteners have. The only fallback was that this product lasted halfway through the day, and I had to reapply it again. Overall this product opened up my eyes and made me look much more awake. This pencil is a great addition to your morning routine. It brightens your eyes and makes you look more awake. I recommend using this pencil with a black mascara on both your top and bottom lashes (very little mascara on the bottom lashes goes a long way!) For a little more drama, add black liner to your top lash line, looks beautiful and widens the look of your eyes!!! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Since this is a all natural product, I had no hesitation in line my water line with this. I have very sensitive eyes and I have yet to have a watery eyes with this. I use this product to brighten and open up my eyes. It is definitely much better than white (too harsh) or black (makes my eyes look really really small-I already have small eye). It stays on pretty well, but I goes through this pen like crazy! Doesn't matter. It totally worth it for me to get more. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I was so excited about this product and couldn't wait to get it. =( I've tried it numerous times and it is horrible. It is the consistency of a child's crayon and it just doesn't want to go on- all it does is leave little clumps of it. I was wanting a nude liner for the waterline for so long, but couldn't find one in the drugstores and wasn't sure if I wanted to put out the extra money for this, but, I'm glad I did. This liner makes your eyes look bigger, brighter (helps tone down red tired eyes) without the stark white eye liner look. It lasts a long time on the waterline, and once it fades off the waterline, you can't even tell since it's so light (depending on your skin tone of course), you won't have black smudges or anything in the corner of your eye. You can get by with a regular white liner, but if you like to make your eyes look bigger and brighter on a regular basis without the crazy obvious white line, you need this one! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I love that it is a flesh or nude color. For other looks a white could be useful. It glides on smooth and creamy and it doesn't make my eyes water. I sometimes use this to highlight and define my lips and highlight at the brow. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I'm in love with this liner. It's so smooth and gentle and makes my large almond eyes look even bigger (and a bit younger, too.) It's a great inner liner color for any comlexion. It looks a lot more natural than the white I had been using and goes on smoother than a light gold color I used before. My eyes look brighter an more awake, no matter how much of the midnight oil I burn.
It is everything it needs to be, easy to apply (did I mention that I love this eyeliner). I love that is is free of harmful preservatives, especially because it's in my eye area. My sensitive eyes haven't watered since I started using this liner.
Now I have to try the other colors!

This pencil is the perfect color for lining for chronically red eyes. It is not too white or beige. It is more skin toned and it really looks natural. It stays on all day and retouch is not necessary. I have been asked what I have I had done differently with my make up because my eyes really stand out. I point out the inner rim of my eye and have had to go purchase a couple of these for my girls. This pencil actually makes your eyes brighter!!!! Love it! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I use this every single day! I used to wear black, brown or other dark color eyeliner on my lower waterline, but I always had a problem with the liner staying put, it would end up all under my eye, a big mess. So, I tried this liner, and it is amazing! It adds dimension to the eye, to the overall look, once your shadow and lid liner and mascara are on. Instead of the old standby eye brightener in white, which is what makeup artists use, this peach color is perfect! I just bought my second one, even though the first one isn't spent yet, because I seriously can't live without this!!!!! Would you buy this product again? Yes
I used a whole stick of this. It did blend well into the eye. However, I only give 3 stars because it did not stay like other liners would. I personally feel that you would benefit more from using a light pink or sheer shimmer shadow to get the same open, bright eye effect. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I don't use this product a lot, but it is nice for days when I'm feeling especially tired looking. It can look a little obvious if you don't get the line just right but it does brighten up the eye area. It works great under the brows as a subtle highlighter since it's such a pretty nude/peach shade. It's very creamy and blends right into the skin. I haven't had trouble with mine breaking or being clumpy - it applies smooth every time for me. I recommend this if you're looking for an alternative to white eyeliner and also want something to double as a brow bone highlighter. Would you buy this product again? Yes

NO Burning... I am sold.
My eyes are extremely sensitive. I have a hard time with eye liner, mascara etc. cause it makes my eyes burn and then water profusely :(
But when I saw it I wanted to try it one because its more natural and two because it a little more neutral then using white.
Well, I put it on and my eyes didn't even start watering, which immediately got my attention. And now at the end of the day they still aren't. Usually at the end of the day it gets much worse so bad I have to wash eye make up off and reapply... well not with this one.
I also like that it is not as harsh on my eyes as white is... being olive toned I personally feel white stands out to much (for my taste) this color was enough to brighten and not be so drastic that it looked like I was wearing something. I like things to look natural. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I do have allergies - as do most people living in my area, unfortunately - but I don't really get the "red eye" effect. Regardless of that, I do get an awesome bright-eye effect when I wear this. I don't wear it every day, just occasionally, when I really want my eyes to pop. It makes eyelashes more prominent and really frames the eyes. I highly recommend it for fun! I was in heaven when I found this product- it worked great for one week but then it broke- the tip of the pencil broke off and it never worked the same........ and I could not get it to work after a week- VERY bummed because I thought I had found my dream inner eye brightener-JOY!

I have very sensitive skin & even more sensitive eyes, so I've always had a hard time finding products that don't irritate my eyes. I've never even considered buying a inner rim liner & wouldn't have bought this one except that it came in a kit at Sephora with several other products I really wanted. I tried this product out of curiosity & was shocked to actually like it. Yes, it's different so it takes some practice to figure out the best way to apply it, but that's the case with many of Tarte's products. If you try applying it on one side & not the other -- not too thick & understanding that it might not look like you're getting much on at all -- you'll notice it makes your eye look bigger & brighter without being obvious that you've got anything on the inner rim. It's subtle, but it works. My favorite way to use this liner is actually as a concealer stick -- it's the best concealer I've ever found for under eye circles as well as blemishes. Of course, I have a very fair complexion so it matches my skin color well -- I don't know how it would work for those of you blessed with some pigment (l'm jealous!), but it never hurts to try. It's also superb as an eye brightener if you blend it into the corner. Being as thin as it is gives you absolute control over where it goes & really allows you to cover small spots of discoloration without lightening the surrounding skin & winding up defeating the purpose. The only downside is that it's SO thin I'm afraid I'll use it all too fast if I apply it as an eye brightener or concealer very often. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I just got my eye brightener at Ulta Beauty a few days ago, and i LOVE it, I have already raved to a few people about this great liner! The color is a white/peach and works with all color eyes. You have to be careful not to use too much. MUST go on the inner rim and not against the lower lashes or it will clumpy bump and look bad. There is a definite look to this liner, you may not think it brightens, but once you do your eyes, primer, shadow, top liner, mascara, add the brightening liner and you will see. Also use on the inner corner of your eye for highlight. Also use right under your eyebrows to highlight the brow bone. Love it. Would you buy this product again? Yes

Okay, I have wanted this product for a while. It is the only thing like it on the market next to a white eye liner. Here is where my opinion of the product starts to drop. Mostly I am confused as to how to use it effectively. I can back to the website to see if there was a "how to" or use of the product. There is not, so I am still lost. I can apply it in the corner of my eye and I understand that use, but as far as "inner rim" I take that to mean the part above my lower eyelashes. I tried apply the product here and it was clumpy, not smooth at all, and got into my eye. It also looks slightly pink on my tan skin. You can tell I have make-up on and it does not look natural. I don't think I'll buy it again if I can't figure out a better way to get this to work for me. Would you buy this product again? Yes
