Like other reviews mentioned, this eyeliner needs a light hand when applying or else you will easily apply way too much product. But, I absolutely love this eyeliner. The color is a very rich black and it literally lasts the entire day through without fading like other eyeliners. The packaging of the eyeliner is very sleek and thin that it could fit anywhere. Love love love love this! The price is absolutely great girls!

I think this product is a nice Liner! But you need to have a gentle touch while putting it on! Its very soft...but looks really nice once on and set. I kinda found out the hard way when i first tried it, got slightly messy...but after I smoothed it out w/ a Smudger tool and it looked great!

I received this liner in a kit I purchased. It feels cool going on and looks great. You must be careful when putting on though, It is very soft and you could easily put on way too much. There needs to be more colors.

This is by far my favorite eyeliner. I've spent years and lots of money trying to find a liner with less ingredients and ingredients that are safe. Most eyeliners and eye shadows contain dimethicone which I found out through trial and error my eyes are allergic to (very allergic). I work 9 hours a day with an hour lunch. During my lunch, I work out and sweat a lot. I have never had any trouble with this liner running and for me it lasts all day. I use wipes to get it off, and it can be stubborn. I love the green and brown liner which for some reason isn't sold here but is on Beauty.com. Please don't stop making these eyeliners. They are safe and effective with beautiful, long lasting color. If you use a light hand and don't unnecessarily break them off, they last awhile. I see no problem with the price if used correctly.

I find this product a little messy to work with and it definitely is not waterproof. I find I use it mostly to smooth out my clay waterproof eyeliner (which I am still not great at applying) and it gives the clay eyeliner a bit of a darker look.

Goes on smoothly and looks nice, but isn't smudge resistant AT ALL--it smudges when my eyes water a bit from the wind or when I sneeze. Will try the waterproof clay eyeliner next time.

This is the best gel pencil eyeliner I have ever used to line my lids. It's application is smooth and it stays on all day for me. It does need to be capped tightly and applied gently. Sephora doesn't carry it anymore and it looks as if Tarte is phasing it out. I hope not, it's a great pencil.

These eyeliners aren't bad but they are not very smudge proof and for the price they don't last very long.

This is the blackest and softest black eyeliner I have ever used. I love tit but it can be messy when first applied to the waterline. Nonetheless, it is totally worth the learning curve.

Application is very smooth and is easier to apply than liquid or gel eyeliner (I'm still a newbie and don't have the most practiced hands when it comes to applying eyeliner). It stays on all day without smudging or ending up in my eyelid crease, which is great! It draws nice, thin lines well that can be built up and defined nicely. You do have to have a light, gentle touch when applying because too much pressure can cause the tip to break. I have bought the plum and the black multiple times, and obtained the brown with the purchase of the neutraleyes eyeshadow kit. All of the pigments are rich and lovely!

Its okay, I feel like as soon as the product touches my skin it melts so I ended up putting a powder over the liner to seal it and prevent it from smudging.

Goes on very smooth and bold, but it's so soft that it breaks and smears. Not much product for the money.

I am crushed that they appear to be phasing out this product. This eyeliner is incredibly easy to put on, a rich color, it stays put for me (and I have fairly oily skin), and washes off easily. The tip is a little soft, but you just have to make sure to not twist out too much at a time and be careful. This was my first Tarte product and I have been a believer since. Bring back all the colors, Tarte!

I love how easy and smooth this product applies, also love how quickly it dries. I would love the pordtuct over-all and give it a better rating if it had a longer staying power. It looks nice for about 5 hours, after that it begins to fade.
