This would probably work well for tight-lining or the lower waterline, but not for my purposes. Product is a nice black and stays on well, but doesn't go on that easily and I end up tugging at my eyelids too harshly.

wear it every day I put it on then the eye brighting one over give such a light natural look not heavy like some eyeliners look love it

I love this product. It goes on silky smooth and has an almost cooling effect. I am an eye rubber and this product doesn't rub off or smudge.

Loved the emphasEYES pencils that I used to buy, but this new type does not go on nearly as easily. Very disappointed and hope I can find the older version or they will start making it again...

i got this as a gift and at first i wasn't thrilled that its mechanical pencil style but i have come to love it because it so smooth and the tip is fine for a lot of control. it lasts all day long! my eyelids get oily even with primer but this just stays put

I really like this eye liner. I find that it applies very smooth and that the color is good quality.

I bought this because its Tarte because I love Tarte products. Its just not that pigmented enough for me it goes on light.

I received this as part of a value kit. It was very dry and did not apply well. Perhaps I received a defected one as others seem to have had much better luck with it. There are other liners on the market that far outperform this, therefore I will have to give it an unprecedented low score and say I would not purchase it again.

I recently bought this in black. I bought it specifically for use in the waterline, and it was so hard that even going over the line multiple times did not create any real color. I haven't tried it as a lid liner, perhaps it works better there.

This pencil is designed to be used on the inner-rim of your eyes. It did not go on at all, and irritated my eyes. I was surprised because I love everything else that I have ever used from Tarte. I've tried using this pencil several times and product just does not go on. Go for the amazonian clay water-proof liners instead.

easy to apply and great for sensitive eyes. I don't use it as an eyeliner for the top of my lids, i think it would be to fragile for that and kind of a waste since it doesn't go on very dark. It works perfectly for inner rim of eyelids and does not irritate the area for people who don't usually wear eyeliner that way. seems to go a long way but i dont use it every day. it might be a bit pricey for everyday wear.

Didn't apply smoothly or evenly. Had to reapply to make it look even causing it to irritate my eyes because i had to reapply. Had to return it.

Wouldn't line my eyes, it seemed really hard and not creamy enough for me.
