I love that they have the refills I just wish they also had them for the neutral eyes II palette. Beautiful colors though! Would you buy this product again? Yes
Although 17 dollars was a bit pricy for one eyeshadow refill, the color I bought (golden tan) is absolutely beautiful and gorgeously pigmented. Eyeshadow primer is definitely a good idea to keep the color long lasting! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I own quite few of these shades and love them all :) They are so pigmented and so smooth when applied. Unlike some other brands, these eyeshadows do not have that much fall out at all. Yes they have some, but considering they are made with better ingredients, I can totally live with a bit of fall out. I also have to say that the staying power is good even with my "cheap" eye primers :)

I have the femme naturale palette, and if I ever run out of any colors I will definitely replace them! I love that they have the exact same colors for replacement! The colors I love the most from this set are: 1. golden navy. I have very pale skin but with a yellow/golden undertone, so it is hard for me to do a smokey eye that doesn't look too harsh or wash me out. This color is perfect. It is slightly sheer so it still looks soft, but it still gives the dramatic smokey look. It is a mix of navy and grey with golden sparkle. The sparkle is not very dramatic but blends into the shade to warm it up a little. It is a true neutral color (neither warm nor cool toned) and therefore it would look great on any skin tone. People have complimented me so much on this color. 2. The shimmering buff is great as a highlight for any of these colors or any other shimmery eyeshadow color. I usually don't like anything that isn't matte for under my brow bone, but this is the exception. 3. golden plum. This one is almost duo toned; it seems to flash between gold and plum. It's an unbelievably gorgeous eyeshadow color and can be combined with other colors in a lot of fun ways. 4. soft sand. An almost pink toned matte neutral, this shadow is amazing for creating natural looks. It can even be used all over the lid to create an effortless, "I just wake up beautiful" look. It really sets off my blue eyes.
I love the entire femme natural palette, but these 4 shades are my recommendation for anyone just wanting to buy a few. :) Would you buy this product again? Yes

Whoo-hoo! Finally, refills for my all-time favorite eye shadow palette!
I gave this 4 stars, though, because $17 per color is a bit steep, but I'll likely only be refilling a few of the colors I use every day. I love to apply the shimmering buff color all over the lid, soft sand in the crease, and soft sienna to the outer V of the eye. I find those colors go well together and are very flattering for my coloring. But really, all of these colors compliment each other very well, and there are so many combinations you can come up with. And they blend like a dream.
The swatches here don't really do them justice. They are absolutely beautiful in person, and I've found they are not as sparkly as they appear on the website. They are all very natural looking and flattering. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I purchased the eyeshadow refill in Golden Plum. It's a gorgeous, shimmery shade. It applies smoothly and has nice lasting power (tip: use an eyeshadow primer underneath). I think it's a great idea that Tarte is selling these individual refills. Would you buy this product again? Yes
