I absolutely love this palette. I have fair/med skin, blonde hair and golden brown eyes and every color in this palette looks flattering! I love that you can mix and match so many color combinations. I typically use MAC brushes, but I found that the brush that comes with this palette is much better! The softness and the shape of the brush are perfect for applying this highly pigmented shadow. One word of caution is that the shadows are best applied by pressing into the lid to avoid fall out. (for a demonstration please see the "how to" videos on this website) I also love the beautiful dual end eyeliner that comes with the kit. For more staying power, I apply a little eyeshadow over top of the liner and it looks great for hours. I just purchased the TEN eye palette and can't wait to try the teal shadow.

this is my first time buying a pallete. i have always opted for drug store brands thinking eye shadows were not a big deal like my foundations and face powders, but wow! very impressed and will for sure be coming back to continue buying products for this line. i also liked the brush that came with it. high quality for a brush coming with a kit. the only con to this product it that you cannot get the original colors that it came with to refill it? but other than that, two thumbs up!

I got this set a year ago at Sephora after having many bad experiences with other eye shadows. I'm very fair (think freckles and auburn hair) with sensitive skin so eye shadows with a lot of chemicals make my eyelids scaly and red... and that's really unattractive... Thankfully Tarte uses milder ingredients and leaves out the harsh chemicals I have such a bad reaction to! I've been using this eye shadow set every single day and find it easy to create looks appropriate for the office and those appropriate for a night out from the same make up set! The shadows stay on!!! And it's all refillable! I need to get some refills soon... The very left of the palette with the highlighting colors have been very loved.

I do wish that the pink shadow were shimmery because it's a little too flat for me and I don't use the sienna too much but I use the other colors enough for it to still be a great value.
The brush that comes with the set is actually very nice and I love that it's double sided. I really like the eyeliners as well. They're colors you can use which is a plus.

I absolutely love these colors, they are great for a natural look but can also be made for a night look as well. They don't disappear or wipe off easily, especially if you use primer on your lids. I have put it on in the morning and my makeup looks substantially the same at night (I do tend to touch my eyes a lot too). I wish the brush allowed easier application of the crease area, it took a little while getting used to because it's a little thicker than I'd like but it's still a great brush. It's my go-to brush every day. Also, have used the eyeliner that comes with this palette and the colors work with the eyeshadow and are very beautiful even on their own (they are plum and olive).

This was my first "real" eyeshadow palette. I really like the colors, and they're great for just starting out. The instruction card helps a lot too. I use the bottom row the most as it looks more natural, and the with the top you can get a slighter darker look. Some of the colors are a little light thought, but other than that it's great. I love the primer that came with it as well. The case is awesome too, and the magnetic closure works perfectly.

Let me just say I am new to Tarte- and I am new to neutral colors ( i am an urban decay bright neon colored girl), but I have been highly dissapointed with UD with their huge product fallout and chunky glitter. (Glitter should not get in my eyes or make a tear in my contacts!!!) So, back to Tarte---- These palettes are AWESOME!!!!! if you are experiencing fallout, it is because you are using TOO MUCH PRODUCT!!! a little goes SUCH a long way! I am officially collecting ALL of the refilleable palettes. Did i mention these shadows are FULL SIZED???? Thats 10 shadows for $44 not including anything else... think about that :) Wonderful. All I can say. Now all they need to make is a neon/bright colors palette and my life would be complete:)

What don't I love from Tarte? Well, that would be the long-wearing eyeliners in their palettes, like this one. The eyeshadows in Femme Naturale are perfection, especially the shimmers which are gorgeious. The brush is so soft and with the dual ends, is the ideal tool for doing lids, creases and under the brow bone. The eyeliner is hitting the trash. This is the same horrible formula that Tarte put in the Ten! palette. I cannot even get this to draw a line on my hand let alone my eyelid. I am still giving this 4 stars because I would have bought this without the eyeliner. However, it would be nice if these worked. I have tried heating them, wetting them, breaking it all off and sharpening a fresh point and NOTHING makes them draw. Oh well.

Looooove this palette! The colors pack on well, blend easily, and are definitely awesome for every day wear. My only complaints are that the golden navy is more of a golden dark gray, I don't feel like I can see a whole lot of navy to it when I apply it to my lid. Also, the liner does not work on my waterline so I have to wear it on my lash line. However, on the lash line, the liner does have a good color payoff. Another complaint I have is the flower on the top of the palette, which makes it hard to stack my makeup up or stick it in my purse as it has to be on top of everything else. However, I am able to surpass these things and say that this palette is GREAT! Definitely would repurchase!!!

This was the first palette I purchased from tarte. At first I was overwhelmed and hardly used it. I also felt the matte pink was a bit chalky, but I started using it as a blending color instead of a lid color and it worked well for me, once I was confident enough to experiment. I do really like this palette, but I love the eye couture, day to night palette (the one with the key and lock) more. The pigment is great and the eyeliner, well I prefer the aqua liners. The brush is a keeper, so perfect for blending. The primer of course, rocks.

Bought this for myself since I was running low in my favorite everyday natural shadows. I absolutely LOVE the palate, I can wear all of the colors, and they look great with my hazel eyes for any time of day, with any outfit!

When I bought it I didn't even realize it came with the eye primer, dual shadow brush, or the dual color eye liner. Such a great value for $44! My only wish was that the size of the compact was more compact. It's super cute purple patent leather with the zipper rosette, but its a little large for my eco-tools make up bag.

Other than that I love the fact that when I finish a color I can just order another one individually. I'd love for tarte to make and sell just the magnetic compacts separately. One that is sleek and small enough to accomodate at least 4 colors and maybe a blush. Then it would be great for travelling.

I bought this for my mother but i've stolen a few swipes of this and also did a couple of makeup looks on my relatives tonight! Everyone was so impressed with the quality of the shadows and how gorgeous and wearable they are. I am a big fan of Tarte and try to recommend it to everyone I know! I've convinced several pf my friends to purchase the Trueblood palette and they have been shocked with the quality. This palette is extremely wearable and I love the liner and double ended brush included in this! As always these colors are buttery smooth and last all day. My mother has oily, hooded, sensitive lids and all other shadow disappears on her! She keeps sending me text updates on how many hours her shadow has stayed on. She is also obsessed with the primer this came with! Great value and women and age can rock this. Thank you Tarte for making such wonderful products.

This just may be my favorite palette. I love the versatility and the shadows are a dream to apply . I always use TARTE primer so have no idea if the colours would be as great without it. I really love the brush for application, so super soft and easy to use. I didn't really care for this palette. The colors are bland even though they are neutral. There is hardly any pigment in the shadows. They go on very sheer and I had trouble seeing them on my skin. I also didn't care for the consistency. I returned and picked up the True blood palette. And I am really happy

Wow, These might be the best shadows I've ever used. They go on so smooth. I own three palettes from Tarte and you have to try it for yourself to be a believer. This palette is the first product I ever tried from Tarte. I've been using it for about 5 months and have really enjoy it. I have found myself reaching for it more often than not. The product is smooth and goes on well. The green pencil is amazing, as is the brush. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because I wish there were a few more mat colors included and the shimmer of two of the colors is almost too much. Overall I have really enjoyed playing with all of the colors and have been please.

I totally love this set! I have two completely different but beautiful options for my eyes. I also have made my own combinations! But anyway I wear the color, my eyes always look natural and not overdone. I have very fair skin, so I usually skip out on the darkest shades on the right, but the other ones look great on me! Good for any skin tone! And the brush is a plus too! Each side is a great tool!

I was looking for a good neutral palette to bring with me when I travel on business and can't bring a whole make-up kit. This fit the bill - ability to have a great every day look that can be shimmered up and deepened for dinner or a night out. All pigments are strong and look beautiful on olive skin. I have really been loving this palette. The shimmery browns are really great for both day or night, and layer well from sheer to opaque. I don't really know what to do with the light pink shade yet... I have some more experimenting to do. I feel like this palette is missing a highlighter. The lighter shades do not highlight my inner eye or right underneath my eyebrows as much as I would like. I really love the brushes included in the set. I am always used to getting bad, throw-away brushes with palettes, but these are definitely keepers. Another thing I don't like about it is the silly flower on top. It isn't attached well, and it makes it harder to store because you can't put anything on top of it. The not-so-strong magnetic latch also makes me nervous. I think this would definitely be left behind on my next vacation in fear that it may come open in my suitcase.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because it is NOT refillable! Okay, you can buy individual mineral shadow refills, but they are not the beautiful colors that I fell in love with from this palette. Plus, the individual refills are $10 each, so you would have to spend $100 to refill a palette that costs $44.

As it is, I will buy this palette again, since these are my all-time favorite eyeshadows, but the whole point of it being refillable was to eliminate waste, and Tarte missed the mark on that. Unless more colors are offered for less money, thrifty consumers will continue to buy the whole palette, thus creating more waste.

As for the product itself, it's perfect. The colors are beautiful and universally flattering. They give a naturally beautiful look with a pop of color. They blend like a dream, and last all day. I absolutely love it, and use it every day, which is why I'm so disappointed that matching refills are not available.

The colors are beautiful and so natural. I feel like I'm not wearing any makeup at all and it shimmers in the sun. Great for day and night. Only bad thing was that I dropped it once and a few of the compacts fell out and now they are loose. Other than that, I absolutely love!

Oh I forgot to mention the eyeliner that came with this palette in my last review. I LOVE IT!! I had low expectation for this eyeliner, since I am so in love with the UD 24/7 that I thought no other eyeliner products can change my loyalty. However, I was very much amazed by the high quality and the beautiful colors of this eyeliner. Glides on super smoothly, very long lasting, very beautiful color, it is just as good as the UD 24/7!! WOW!

Totally in love with it!! This is my first Tarte eyeshadow. Compared to those brands that I usually use (MAC, Lancome, Smashbox, Urban Dacay, Stila), quality wise Tarte is every good, if not better, I will say definitely not worse. A BIG PLUS of Tarte eyeshadow is, it's creamier and more moisturized and plus all the good ingredients, therefor it will not look cakey by the end of the day. Now I use Tarte eyeshadow almost everyday!! Definitely recommend it if you haven't try out Tarte eyeshadow yet.

I got this one and the eye couture day-to-night and I love both of them. I had so many other eye shadowes before from Lancome andEstee Lauder and I stopped using them after I got these 2 palettes. Color payoff is great, colors go well together, and they stay a long time even without the primer. When I use the sample primer that came with them I don't have to do any touch ups even after 12 hours. I love it and highly recommend it. I forgot to add in my review for the eye couture one but the double sided eyeliner and the brush are also perfect. I would have given more stars if available.

I love this set! The eye shadows feel wonderful and soft against the skin and are just the right subtle shades for me - I don't like too dark. I love that it comes with ideas on how to place the eyeshadow on, but I love that you have endless ways to mix and match too! The brushes that it comes with work great - though sometimes if I want a finer point I have a thiner sloped brush I use for the crease and for the liner. Love the fun colors of the liners too. Absolutely adore the compact that it comes in - the purple with the raised flower on it - makes it look so luxurious. And the best part of all of course is how good it is for your skin! I love Tarte!!!

Great set of eye-shadows. Excellent price because each shadow is full size! They go on smooth and silky, color palette works well together and eye liner pencil is great. The dual sided brush included is excellent and very soft as well, which is highly unusual in terms of the brushes that come normally with palettes no matter what brand they are! Only thing I would have liked to see was a whitish color to use in the inner corner of eyes to brighten up.

I agree with most reviewers about the brush - it's great. Good quality, soft and picks up/distributes color very evenly. The definer side is a little big for my smaller eyelids so I usually use a different brush, but sometimes I use it to blend.
The eyeliners were the worst part, the product was very sticky going on, and resulted in tons of smudge which wasn't what I was going for. However, the colors (bright purple / bronzey-gold) are very pretty and I'm sure some girls could get more use out of it that I have.
As for the eyeshadows, no complaints. It's a solid purchase, and while not the most amazing, I am still pleased with my products.

My friend had bought this pallette recently, and brought it with her to vegas, this is the first time i ever seen any one that used it, i mean i saw tarte at ulta, and wanted to try some of their stuff, but never got around to it. Anyways when she used the pallette, they gave her directions to how to put it on, which is a plus, and the colors were beautiful. not only that, but after we went clubbing and fell asleep, she woke up in the morning and the make up was not smeared or anything. so i just had to buy this pallette, and i love it!

I really WANTED to fall in love with this pallet! This is my first experience with Tarte eye shadows and eyeliners and I was hoping for something that would really knock my socks off. I faithfully used it everyday for 2 weeks and even used the look card. In the end though I was disappointed because the shadows were too soft and when blended would turn into a greyish brown color on my very fair skin. Although the shadow colors are beautiful, especially the peach gold one and the purple gold one (my favs in the pallet), they are not very pigmented and I have to keep putting on more and more to get the color to be true. It does help to pat the color on your lid which makes it stick a bit better, but for the price I want something that doesn't take so long to create the look I want. The lighter color showed up the best, but the darker ones were the ones I had a problem with. The eyeliner colors are beautiful but they did crumble a little bit when I put them on. The eyelid primer was nice, but I had to use a lot of it to create the magnet effect on the eye shadow. I LOVE the double ended brush it can with for use with other eye shadows, but found that it was too soft for these soft shadows and didn't work well when trying to pat the color on. I ended up using this brush with other palettes I own and using a sponge tip applicator for the shadows to pat them on.

I am returning this palette, but for the record would have kept it if the Tarte eye shadow refill selection didn't stink. Tarte really really needs to provide more colors for the replacement tins.

Love this palette! I received as a gift. Color goes on smooth and blends well. I dropped it the other day and was so mad, but when i picked it up I noticed nothing broke and the inserts are magnetic! Love this go green approach and the quality of the product. So many options to choose from and that are day to night appropriate. The brushes are ok and get the job done but I prefer a smaller blender. I didnt get the color card the description referred to, but I did get a sample of the mascara and eye primer.

I bought this palette with the 40% off which was a great price. All the eyeshadows are well pigmented and you really need to pat them on to avoid fallout. I also used these shadows with a cream shadow base and created a really dramatic look. Using the cream shadow just makes these powdery shadows pop! I also use the lighter shades for everyday. I love the brush. It has quickly become a favorite in my collection!

There are 3 matte shadows and the rest are shimmer. The double ended eyeliners are different colors, a mauve and a deep bronze which work with this palette. The brush is great and has a fluffy blender side and a crease side.

I was so pleased with the shadows I went on to buy the jewelry box! I'm still waiting for it!

This is a great pallet for my fair skin. I use this pallet for daytime looks. The shadows are soft (almost too soft) and they look great. I don't give it full stars because there is some fallout, a couple of the darker shadows are so soft they roll up, and the colors aren't very vibrant. It takes patting on the eye color to get it too stick but when you blend it loses color -or the colors blend into one brownish color easily.
I do like the looks I can get from this pallet and they eyeliners are great. They actually have terrific pigment so it balances things out a bit.
I like the brush that came with it, but it is not so good when you want some precision. The primer sample is ok. It's very thin so it's never cakey but it seems like it takes a lot to work.
Overall I like this pallet and I hope they come out with more colors of refills because their current selection stinks.

I love this!!! I don't really like to wear a lot of makeup, so this palette was perfect for me! The colors are natural shades, but add the perfect amount of color! I love opening up the palette and using it whenever I can! Plus, the eyeshadow does not irritate my eyes, and it is refillable which is great so the palette is not a waste and thrown away but can be used continuously! I also love the brush that comes with the palette, and the primer keeps the eyeshadow in place!

Got this palette 2 days ago and sooo glad I did. The colors are amazing. very pigmented! The colors blend together so nicely. I love all of them! The eyeliners complete the looks 100 percent. beautiful! This is a great buy. I love the fact that once a color is used you can replace it. reusable palette is a great idea plus it's super cute!

LOVE this palette!! I've found so many ways to combine the colors and get a different look everyday. I even use the shadows wet and apply them as eyeliner! This was my first eye shadow purchase and I couldn't be happier. I have fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair.. every color works great for me. My friend is tan with brown hair, green eyes and she loves the palette too! I think it compliments everyone! Definitely worth the money!

I love these eye shadows, they glide on so smooth and silky. The pencil included gave my an oppurtunity to try the plum liner and it is beautiful! I bought this because I also really like that I can add shadows to it and cut down on waste to help the enviroment as well.

I use this palette every single day. The colors are subdued but very pretty, and like others have said, highly pigmented. The colors allow for lots of effects - and trust me, I am a girl who loves her options. The two colors that get the least use from me would have to be the matte beige/pink and matte light pink. I would say that the eyeshadow is more powdery than most, and you have to take it easy when loading your brush!!

This was my first tarte eyeshadow palette and I really love it. Some people don't like shadow fallout and I'll admit, these shadows act powdery, but I love this palette because they are finely milled products. Besides, we all know how to prep our faces from eye shadow fallout anyhow...

Moving on, my two favorite shades are the bottom left shadow and the bottom middle shadow. I tried both the looks from the look card and I really liked the plumy one. As for the liners, they are pretty but a little stiff in my opinion. Overall, I think paying full price is a lot but it worth the investment.

However if you find this on sale, its totally worth it. :) The colors are soft and pretty some are matte and others are shimmery, you get colors you don't normally find in typical palettes and the magnetic closure works great.

Just be careful, this palette can be replaced by other shadows on their site, which means they can fall out. I thought I broke mine the first time I tried it and almost tipped it over. lol

I would say that with the 40% discount, this was a great deal! The colors are all very pretty and what I was expecting. They are very soft and there is fallout with them, but that can be diminished by patting the colors on. This isn't a palette for someone wanting a colorful look. It really is on the more natural side, as the name suggests. I also don't see the lighter colors showing up well on darker skin tones, but I could be wrong. Overall, very pretty palette!

Good quality shadows. I love the brush that came with this set as well and all the colors are very co-ordinated to work with each other. The ONLY drawback is that there's some shadow fallout while applying.

LOVE this palette! I reach for it almost every day. I recently did makeup for a couple of girls at a photo shoot, and I used the middle colors on the teenagers. They turned out great on film. The shimmer isn't too glittery or reflective. I also love that they included the three matte colors. Those show up best on my tan, oily face (natural 14), and the darkest four also work great for every day. The looks included in the palette are more suited for lighter skin tones, but definitely are natural when worn. I love to use the sparkle black as a liner all by itself; it really stays. The added bonus was the firmitol primer. I was not expecting it to work so well on my oily lids, but tarte really lives up to my expectations on this!

So glad these colors were made into a palette, because they are great for everyday looks and for fancier outings as well. The size of these eyeshadows are huge as well; I wasn't expecting that. The eyeliner is great too and matches any eyeshadow look that can be created from this palette.

I absolutely love this palette. I use it daily for office friendly looks as well as when I'm going out. Colors blend well and easily with minimal fall out. The brush is wonderful, this is the best shadow brush I own, and I have a bunch. I've had this palette for almost a year and the shadows are as fresh as they were when I first purchased it. They last forever, I use the champagne color daily and still have about half the pan left. Going to need a refill soon, will probably just purchase a whole new palette. Highly recommended.

I was only recently introduced to tarte. This pallette was one of the first items I purchased. I love the colors. They blend so well and you can go very natural and very intense depending upon how you apply and what colors you use. They last! This is the best palette I've ever purchased. I'm fair with blue eyes and I can use all of the shades included. The brush and eyeliner are great bonuses--but I can't say enough about the shadows themselves. They aren't flaky--they're just moist enough to be applied without flying all over the place.

SUPER PIGMENTED!!! All other brands trust me I have tried them all, the eye shadow colors have always disappeared on my eyelids. These colors are true tone. This is the first time I did not have to layer and layer the lighter colors with my eye shadow. Out of habit I put them on thick and have had to adjust my makeup practices as the dark colors will go on as dark as in the palette. These shadows do not crease and hold up beautifully. Tarte will be the sole provider of my eye shadows.
The colors in this palette are fabulous as this picture does not do it justice. The Golden Plum is beautiful and the sage is a strong rich green hue. I highly recommend this set.
