I don't usually write reviews, but I have to write about this absolutely marvelous eye shadow palette. I am new to Tarte and this was my first purchase. The colors are wonderful and the brushes that came with the palette are great!!! These eye shadows are my favorite now, better than Urban Decay's Naked....

I am a girly girl and these are girly colors, great shimmer colors for summer, love them! Bonus - you get double ended liner and double ended brush, cannot have better price!

Love! These eye shadows go on smooth and the blending brush side is something I've needed for years, I didn't even know it. Now the actual color palette is by far my favorite combination. You can use any together and it looks perfect and for a more bold color wetting the brush makes the color really thick. This is good pigment it lasts a long time and that's without a primer. With there sample primer it lasts even and looks more vibrate has less tendency to crease but it didn't have much creasing anyway and the magnetic case it comes with is so luxe to this drugstore girl. I am thinking this is beyond an amazing value with the brush and liner it comes with would make a perfect present to any lady.

Tarte shadows are really lovely, richly pigmented and they glide on smoothly. The colors are great and there is no fallout. The only thing I dislike is the packaging. I realize many people love the packaging and there is nothing "wrong" with it, I just prefer a more simple/sleek packaging without all the frills.

This was the first thing I ever purchased from Tarte and I knew nothing about the brand/company but lately Ive rediscovered it and Tarte is amazing and awesome and I love what they're all about! I love the packaging as with all other Tarte products, comes with instructional guide on how to use the shadows, a large mirror, dual ended eyeliner, and a dual ended eye brush (which I love and use all the time). I dont tend to wear eyeshadow on a daily but when I do, this palette offers great selection and color pay off is really good! I also love that the shadows pop out and you can mix and match or replace them easily. Great job Tarte!

This was the first tarte product I've purchased and it made a believer out of me. I am a bit of a makeup junkie (especially eye shadows) and this is the palette I reach for again and again. The colors are beautifully pigmented and blend effortlessly. The brush and eyeliner are easy to use and are great quality. This would be an awesome set for someone who is starting to wear makeup because the set is so easy to use. I just placed an order for several other tarte products and I can't wait to try them all out!

Truly their eyeshadows are the best! I have been using their pallets exclusively for 2.5 years, and last week, I cheated, and bought another pallet. Even though I use an eye-shadow primer, the other eyeshadows began to fade, before I could even leave the house for work!

These Tarte shadows are beautiful and last all day. They are also highly pigmented. I always get many compliments on them. Some of the colors look intimidating in the pallet, but I try them anyway, and they look terrific on!

I have all of the pallets, and I hope that they come out with more new ones, soon!

This palette is so great! I first purchased it about a year ago and have used it fairly regularly, but you wouldn't know that by looking at the palette - it looks like it's barely been used! I guess that's because the shades are, as other reviewers have said, super blendable with good color payoff. The colors are meant to be more natural looking, so while they are a bit shimmery, they are still sheer and perfect for daytime looks. If you use a primer, they last for a pretty long time, 8 hours or so for me. The darker colors on the right side of the palette make it transferable to night time looks, although the colors aren't super dramatic. Overall, an awesome palette that has turned me on to tarte cosmetics!

This is my everyday go to palette. I Love it, the colors look good on anyone. they blend easy and look great! I love the natural look. I recommend all Tarte eye shadows I have never used anything like this, I am 49 and blending can sometimes be hard with wrinkles, not with the tarte it makes my eyes look younger! Thank you for such a wonderful product.

Tarte has THE BEST eyeshadows. I only wish they would come out with some more fun colors instead of just neutral type colors. Urban Decay is my go to for variety in color but if I could mix UD colors with the way Tarte's shadows are made I'd be in eyeshadow heaven!! Their shadows are soooo smooth and soft but still last through out the day. There's no fallout with application which is amazing and they are so easy to blend because of their softness. I really love Tarte eyeshadow - please bring out some more vibrant colors !!

One of my favorites eye shadow palettes because the colors are so classic and (unlike most sets of ten) I make use of every single color. I love that it includes a double-ended brush and eyeliner. It's not the most impressive or wearable liner pencil (the formula is a bit dry and stiff), but is easier to apply than the aqua-gel liners (which can be messy and fragile). The case is sturdy and attractive with a strong magnet to keep it sealed up tight. I'd rank this as one of my best makeup purchases!

This was given to me as a bridesmaid gift and I'm obsessed with it. The shadows don't have much fall out and the color pay off is fab. I love that it comes with brown and black liner so I can really play up different looks depending on my mood. The packaging is beyond adorable too that I love carrying it in my purse to touch up if needed. Two thumbs up!

I've had this beautiful Femme Naturale Eye Shadow palette from Tarte for a year now and I still use many of the colors regularly. Overall, I'd recommend this palette for someone who wants to be able to do a couple of basic day and night looks and wants to start an envirnomentally and health conscious makeup collection.


The Eye Shadows: The colors are varied, which is great for someone starting out or looking for a go-to palette. There is a nice mix of matte and shimmery shades. The real reason I think it's great for a beginner is the helpful guide on how to use the colors to create different looks. The shadows are also the longest-lasting I've ever tried. They go on buttery-smooth.


The Brush: The brush really makes this palette worth the price, I use this brush everyday! I use the diamond side to tap on eyeshadow across my lid and I use the round side to add (usually a darker color) to the creases.


The Eyeliners: I'm not too impressed with these eyeliners. The colors (a purple and an olive) are okay and certainly different from the brown and black most makeup users will already have, but I didn't care for the formula. It was too difficult to get the color onto my eyes.


The Case: The case is very cute and mobile. The magnet is very strong (sometimes too strong when you try to set up the palette to look in the mirror the first few times!). The eye shadows are adhered into the palette not with the usual glue (which makes all depotters go crazy), but nice magnets! You can truly remove shadows from one palette and place them in other palettes to create a go-to daily palette. You can also buy replacements for certain shadows online (however, these are $17 a pop, the selection is sub-par -only femme natural eye shadows at the moment- and it seems a better deal to buy another palette).
