I am not that crazy about this... it is a lil to dry for my taste!... I use a primer from another brand and this is what i am comparing it to. Because it is dry i find i have to use alot of it to get it on my eyelids and then its hard to blend b/c its so dry!... :( Probably wont be trying again as i saw another tarte-similar brand that makes this in a 3 in 1 with a primer, corrector and moisturizer! that calls my attention becuase i am always forgetting to moisturize my eyes... so i need something that will be included in my daily routine like that other product. as far as having my shadows stay in place i think i does its job! :) Would you buy this product again? This is my favorite eye primer. It's the only primer I can find that contains anti-aging ingredients, so it has skincare benefits as well as anti-creasing benefits. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I'm not a fan of the packaging. The lid to my tube cracked when I was about halfway through it, and after reading some other reviews I've learned that I'm not the first person to experience this problem.
The sample size of this primer is perfect, since the shorter tube is less prone to cracking, and won't dry out before you can use it all. But you usually have to purchase a palette to get the sample size.
If Tarte could improve the packaging, this would be absolutely perfect. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I almost never wear eye shadow, but this product has worked great for me for another reason. My eyelids get uncomfortably oily/sweaty throughout the day, and it's been annoying me basically my whole life -- always feels like I need to dab my lids with a tissue or something. Well, thank god for this primer, which has eliminated the problem 90% for me. My eyes feel much more comfortable, and they don't look so shiny anymore, so I'm very happy I found this.
The only issue is how little of it there is in the tube. I couldn't believe how quickly it ran out.

I think this product works really well. I have very oily eyelids and this seems to hold all the product in place and I really like how creamy and easy to apply it is!
However, there's very little product for the price. Ideally, I'd like to find something that works about as well that not $20 for 2-3 month's use.
Another thing to note is, I've had my tube for about 1.5 months and the packaging is completely in tact, the top has not cracked at all. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I received a trial size of this in one of my Tarte Palette's, and I really didn't care for it. I'm in my 20's so I don't really need the "firming" benifits of it, and it didn't really perform better than other eyelid primers. I'm 60 yrs old,been told that I have the skin of a 40 yr old....BUT have very definate signs of ageing. Eyelids drooping, wrinkles etc. Tarte Lifted is AMAZING...really does lift the eyelid droop quite a lot. Must be on my 10th plus tube.!! I use it on upper lids to just over the eyebrow,before concealers, etc. Apply it with pinkie finger and pat it on,firmly pressing it into skin. Works great even alone without any other makeup apart from mascara. OK Yes the packaging is a bit flimsy...top tends to crack...that's why scotch tape was invented!! Towards the end of the product I pull out the plastic "stopper",use a longer doe foot to scoop out ALL of it down to last drop!! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Like the primer. I find that it works nicely with tarte shadows (pressed shadows in general), but loose shadows not as well. This works maybe a little better than UD. I am not a fan of UD eye primers. If you like UD eye primers, you will likely love tartes. I prefer be, which reminds me of TF but with better ingredients. I think the reason I am not loving it as much is the packaging. Anytime you use a wand, you push air into a product. Mine is drying out quickly. Every week it seems more dry. As it dries out, it does not work as good. The wand can introduce bacteria too. If you get sick and use the wand to actually apply it to your lids, you need to chuck this and get a new one after you are better. Just like mascara. I would rather have a squeeze tube. No felt tip applicator on it either, just a tube. It is easier. It would not dry out as fast, since you can squeeze the excess air out. You wouldn't have to chuck it when you get sick. I would buy this if it were re-packaged. Until then, I will stick with my tried and true. Unlike a lot of others, I love the color. I am fair (agent 00, green eyes, dark auburn hair). Just blended right into my skin color. As for it firming, I have not noticed anything like that. I have yet to find a product that actually firms when it says it will. Would you buy this product again? Yes

At first I thought the formula was a bit too thin, but I was pleasantly surprised at the coverage! In my opinion, the best way to apply is to use the wand, of course, but to also dab with your index finger or smooth with a concealer brush. I also really like the added benefit of the Firmitol. I'm honestly kind of in between on this product. I like the fact that it addresses my concern for aging around the eye area, but unlike other eye primers on the market I still feel it has quite a bit until it lives up to the others. Sometimes it'll get caught in the lines underneath your eyes and became cakey, other times if you don't blend fast enough the product is stuck in one spot. I think it does it's job alright but I'm not impressed. It is better than not having any eye primer at all. Also like other reviews I've done tarte's horrible packaging strikes again, the cap splits and yet again I'm annoyed. The only way I'll buy this product again if it goes on clearance for like $5. Absolutely the best primer I have ever used! I love this stuff and can tell an almost instant difference once I apply it. I use it all around my eyes and my upper lip area. It not only leaves a flawless look but seems to give a very slight glow. I use this most everyday whether I put on makeup or not simply for all the great ingredients and how nice it makes me look. My only problem is it seems to dry out way too quickly and I have heard the same from others. I wish this would get fixed so it stays moist for the life of the product. I love the product. When I use a primer, I want a few things from it. I want it to look nice enough that I can wear it without shadow or by itself. I want it to work with the same brand of eye shadows as well as other brands. I want it to work with pressed powders, loose powders, and cream shadows. I want a certain texture that is easily spread over the lid when applied, but not greasy or oily feeling. I prefer to use my finger when applying. I do not like the tube with the doe foot applicator. I really really dislike doe foot applicators. I also think in this particular tube, the seal can easily come undone (easy enough to fix by yourself but it is a pain). My reason for three stars is that this does need to set for about a minute before applying a cream shadow. Powders do not really matter. I get a bit of creasing by the end of a work day if I use this with a cream shadow. I have oily lids, maybe that is why. I have only found one eye primer that will hold everything all day to night. I also do not personally think this actually firmed anything. Perhaps it is preventative? I do like that there are ingredients that benefit the skin around the eye area. I know some people like the doe foot. It would be nice if it came in the doe foot container as well as a squeeze tube (no fuzzy stuff on the tube tip please). That is my number one reason this is not a five star product, the container. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This primer is my fave. I've used others that were non-natural and natural and this one I'll buy again. The tube seems to hold a decent amount of product for the money, the formula does what it says it does, and I like being able to put it under my eyes before I put on my concealer - it plumps up my fine lines that are there and none of my eye makeup smudges or fades all day! This is a really great primer. I only recently discovered primer, after using Urban Decay's, and I was looking for a good alternative. So this one works really well...there is minimal creasing, and it dries really quickly. My shadows (some tarte, some UD, some drugstore stuff) stayed on quite nicely, and the colors looked true to their packaging. Definitely a must-have. I have to admit that I got turned on to this by sneaking from my mom's tube. I LOVE this product! The pink color neutralizes any discolorations on my eye and brightens it up. It dries down quickly and keeps my shadows lasting all day with NO creasing. I'm a UD Primer Potion fanatic and I have to say this is a bit better if only for the brightening quality. I can't speak for the "lifting" quality of this, as it's not something I'm concerned about in my 20s. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This is my absolute favorite eye primer. I have oily skin and thus oily lids and this works just as well or even better than Urban Decay's Eye Primer Potion which was my holy grail. It lasts me from 8:00 am to 10:00p.m. It really is great. I switched over to Tarte's primer because I trust that the ingredients are a lot better for my skin and I don't feel bad putting it on most everyday. This is another product that I really wanted to love because it is more natural to other eye primers. It doesn't blend as easily, and dries fairly quickly that its easy to leave behind streaky marks if you aren't careful. I think it does help eye shadows last, but not as well as UDPP. Works fine especially for those with normal to dry skin, but for the price I would rather invest in the UDPP because shadows stay put all day even with my extremely oily skin! Love this primer. It's supper smooth and the eyeshadow just stick on it all day long.
I used to use Urban Decay eye potion for a long time, however I found it too dry, it makes my under eye fine lines totally visible and worse day by day. Altho the UD eye potion makes the makeup last all day long, but it also makes the makeup look very cakey after a few hours.
Now I already totally switched from UD to this eye primer, because with it I have none of the above problems! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I sometimes poke my eyes with the applicator, but aside from that, the primer works great. I can tell that the staying power and the brilliance of the eye shadows improve when I use this product. I use these exclusively with Tarte eye shadows. It doesn't have perfume or anything else that is freaky, and so my eye lids have been feeling nice and healthy. I love this eye primer. I'd tried using others that were either waxy or greasy feeling (which, having oily eyelids, I absolutely didn't need) but this is light and helps keep my makeup where it belongs. I don't generally use it under my eyes, just my eyelid, inner corner, and up to my browbone, and it works fantastically. I do have to take half a star off for the applicator- I end up dabbing it on my finger and applying it with a fingertip or separate brush, since the little wand applicator the primer comes with just doesn't do it for me. I also worry about a lot of product being wasted by this kind of packaging, and I think this could be better served by being put in a squeeze tube instead. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This products goes on great and blends easily if your skin is moisturized. If you have dry skin, it will show up so be careful! I love how my eye makeup stays in place and does not run. I usually apply it to my bottom lash line so my eyeliner doesn't rub off. I even apply it to my brow bone once in a while as a highlighter. Great tube, feels sturdy. I've used a lot of eye primers before, and they have either been too greasy, which would make my lids crease, or too thin. If they were too thin, I would apply a layer of concealer over the primer and under my shadows. This helped my makeup last longer and would increase the pigmentation of it, but it felt pretty cakey. Lifted, however, does the job perfectly. It's not too greasy, but it gives a good amount of coverage without concealer. It evens out lid color and texture and holds makeup all day with great pigmentation. I still have young skin, so I haven't noticed the lifting and firming qualities of it, but it feels great anyway! I love this primer. It works better for me than Urban Decay, which everyone swears by. I've tried others, but this, for me is the best, by far! I've stocked up on all the little deluxe sizes I could find and trade for, so I'm set for awhile, but when I have to buy again, this will definitely be the primer I buy. I haven't really noticed a difference in the little wrinkles around the eyes, but maybe because I don't really have any, but it's just a really good primer and I've told everyone about it. It rocks! I have oily eyelids and this primer does help prevent my eye shadow from creasing. It appears to have some lifting action also, which is a nice bonus! When not wearing make-up I continue to use this primer daily. Although on very humid days nothing prevents my shadow from creasing! I do wish there was a larger quantity in the tube. I found this primer to be fair lasting It may not take over my favorite just yet. But it does hold your shadows well without that cakey heavy feeling on your lids. I didnt use it long enough to notice its other benifits., But this is a product I will keep using Would you buy this product again? Yes

I apply this stuff even when I am not wearing eyeshadow. Makes my shadows last all day and the color is more vibrant. Also corrects the uneven look my eyes have. A big bonus for me is that you don't have to be too careful about applying too much or too little. With Urban Decay if I applied too much it would crease immediately. This doesn't crease even when I over apply it. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I thought that this primer worked well in regular weather, but melted in the sun. I was disappointed that it creased up on me in the sun, but I still would buy this product again. This product is average for creasing of shadows. On a very humid day my shadow still creased so its not ideal for summer. As for wrinkles I dont have any so no help there. Its ok, but not great Would you buy this product again? Yes

This shadow primer works fine. I feel like it is a tad dry compared to my beloved Urban Decay Primer Potion. I really wanted to love this because I'm trying to convert my makeup bag to all natural products but I'm just not quite sure this measures up. It holds onto the shadow pretty well though. I just wish it were a little creamier and easier to apply. Not bad though. If it were ever formulated to be slightly less dry I'd for sure repurchase. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I use to put concealer on my eye lids because I never felt the need to spend money on primer. But concealer is too thick and now that I work full time and attend college I needed something to keep all my shadow put. All through youtube I just found everyone use two other brands but I wanted something natural because I am going to use it every day. That’s when I came across tarte, I love this primer it keeps all my shadow on, its light, non-greasy and little goes a long way. Yay for tarte!! Would you buy this product again? Yes
This product is awesome! I've tried most of the eye primers out there, and this is the one that works the best for me. I've collected all the little bottles from Sephora's 500 pt perk that people didn't want. I have SO many of them, lol. I love this primer! It's the best. I don't think I'll ever use another. It's cost effecient and works SO well and does extra duty around those stubborn little lines that I'm just starting to get around the corners of my eyes. I'm still very young (early 20s') and have yet to develop any signs of wrinkles but I know I will be in good hands because this really does firm up the lids and provides a nice soft beige color that can also be used as an eyeshadow. It's very helpful on making eyeliners bolder however if you use only Tarte eyeshadows it's not really necessary to have this as their eyeshadows are already highly pigmented. I especially love using this with minerals (powder) eyeshadows as it definitely locks it in (never had it smudge- not even when i rubbed my eyes[lightly]!) but just becareful as it IS colored and can appear outside of a smokey eye look! I have own several other primers and so I have high standards. This primer met those standards. I have oily lids and have to always wear primer to keep my eye make up from fading and creasing. This did a great job with that. My eyeshadows never budge and still looked good by the end of the day. My favorite part about this primer that other primers don't do is that it acts like a concealer as well. My eyes lids are a little bit dark and you can see my vains. Usually I have to wear a colored base on my eye to hide those flaws but this eye primer I can skip that step. It's two great things in one product. My only negative thought on this product is that it's a bit thicker then what I'm use to but overall it's still great. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I think this is the only product I've tried by Tarte that didn't impress. I don't think the product blends well, it's pretty thick and I end up with a film around my eyes. It does help to prolong the life of my eye make-up but under the eyes it is too cakey. Would you buy this product again? Yes

Firms & creates a smooth lid allowing your eyeshadow to stay where you put it. No creasing or settling in fine lines.
It really stands up to heat & humidity!
Make sure the rest of your makeup does too or you'll be left w/perfect eyes & melted face! :)

I love this product. I have always had a problem with eye make-up lasting due to super oily eye lids. This stuff acts like glue for shadow and liner. It does seem to tighten up the eye area as well. I had my mom try it and she found it too drying for her, but I don't have that problem. This is my only insurance that not only will I still have eye make-up on by the end of the work day, but with minimal creasing as well. Would you buy this product again? Yes
