I have long lashes to begin with so I was more interested in volume and that is exactly what I got! I find that 2 coats is enough and that it may start to get a little clumpy with 3 but using a lash comb or an unused mascara wand helps. The tendency to clump after a couple coats is the only reason I give it 4.5 stars but it's not bad to the point where I would use anything else. I find that the lashes get so thick that the lash comb doesn't comb through! The mascara has a nice pigment to it and really makes my green eyes stand out. I recommend using a slightly heated eye lash curler before applying since it's not waterproof and non-waterproff mascaras usually get rid of curl after curling them (think of wetting your hair after you curl it). Finally, a safe to use mascara that gives results!! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Pros:
Curl will last majority of day (I'd vouch for 12 hours) if applied after use of eyelash curler.
Pretty even coverage - I make it work fine but others with less/thin might have more issues.

One coat is perfect for day, I usually do 2 for anything else :)
Cons:
Flakes just a tad. I know people are saying it doesn't but...I've seen them daily.
I'd like more separation but it does a pretty good job!
I had some residue on my lids a few times but I'm sure that from not letting my eye primer dry enough.
Overall: I will definitely buy again. It's my go-to grab nowadays for work and going out. I prefer it over EVERY drugstore mascara and the following high ends (diorshow, benefit bad gal, clinique-high impact, smashbox overexposed, hyperlash)

I've got a drawer full of mascara, some old stand-bys, some high-end ones, but none of them--NONE--work as well as this one! I got a sample of Lights, Camera, Action with another product I ordered. It could be that I have stick straight, short Asian lashes, that's why it's hard to find a mascara that impresses me. I've been searching for "the one" for man, many years. I've tried everything in the drugstore as well as some very high end brands that promised "no clumping/flaking", none of those ever lived up. Then I found this. I have decently long lashes but they are blonde and thin. This mascara plumps them up and has never flaked once!! It holds my curl very well too, most other mascaras tend to weigh my lashes and straighten them, not this one! It's my absolute favorite, never any clumps. And I feel better knowing its natural. Doesn't flake off and lasts all day so it's definitely one of my new favorites. It really does a nice job of extending my lashes if I take some extra time to apply a couple of layers. My search for the perfect Mascara that actually intenify's my lashes is over. I received a sample of this product with the eyelash curler and will definitly be buying the full sized product. I love it! I use two coats on top lashes and one coat on bottom lashes. My lashes look so much thicker. No clumping and no flaking! I wear contacts, and there was no irritation. Haven't used the eyelash curler yet, but I'm completely sold on LCL! Never, never, never stop making this mascara. Never change the formula. With other mascaras I would get painful bumps on my lashline, have to put on multiple coats to look like I have lashes, and end up with red itchy eyes. Other 'natural' mascaras either did the same thing or flaked off. I have not used another mascara since I found this one. It was love at first blink! My only complaint is that the 2 places I can buy it in town are often out. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This is my favorite mascara! I will never use another one again. This gives my lashes awesome volume and a bit of length as well. I'm a lover of mascara's and normally I only buy drugstore mascaras. This is the only high end mascara that I have bought and it was amazing. This mascara is great! You can build layers of it and it doesn't clump together. It separates your lashes perfectly so you don't get that look of a few long lashes, but instead LOTS of long lashes. I use one coat if I'm going with a more natural look and 2 or 3 coats for more dramatic looking lashes. It doesn't flake off during wear around your eyes either. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This is the best mascara I've ever tried! It's very lengthening, and not clumpy at all.....the brush does a great job of catching each individual eyelash and coating it with mascara while lengthening and plumping as well! I always try to buy natural toxin-free makeup but found that mascara was one of the products I had to use that wasn't natural. I always found natural mascaras to be runny and ineffective. However, when I tried tarte's mascara I was pleasantly surprised. They gave my lashes both length and volume. My only complaint is that this mascara does have a very paint/clay like smell when you apply it. However, that smell goes away after drying so its not a huge issue. Would you buy this product again? I have used this for a week now, and I do love the fact that its lengthening, curling and has ingredients to condition lashes. I didn't find it to be super volumizing though, so this is best reserved in my makeup arsenal for days that I want length and definition, not necessarily volume. I wasn't super impressed with this product. For me, mascara is #1 must-have everyday, but I wouldn't rely on this as a go-to. Like some other people said, this was already a bit dried out when I received it and the rest seemed to dry up quickly. I didn't find that it curled my lashes, either. It was easy to apply and didn't have an issue clumping but it never really added much volume even after waiting in between applying a few coats. I gave it 3 stars because I liked the brush and it seemed to get onto every single lash without getting on my eyelid (hate that!) Would you buy this product again? Yes

I'm VERY picky with mascara and I have tried a ton. I spend more time on my lashes than I do the rest of my eye makeup so I can get great curl, if you spend the time to curl your lashes and then the mascara let's you down by clumping and flaking, that's a total deal breaker of course! With this there is no flaking, im not forever sweeping little black flakes from under my eyes and there is no weird fading to grey during the day either. I have never been one to by a mascara that wasn't waterproof. I didn't by this one (it came in my December MyGlam Bag), but I am seriously considering buying it. I love the look it gives me. And for not being a waterproof mascara the longevity of it is amazing. I have also found that if I put my favorite waterproof mascara over it, it doesn't mess with the look it's supposed to give you! I have fine lashes and have problems with finding mascaras that are too wet and weigh down my lashes making them look clumpy and undefined. This mascara has been the answer to my problems. The wand has fine bristles that aid in helping to define and separate each lash and also help to coat them evenly. I only have two small complaints that wouldn't prevent me from purchasing it again. The first one is, I have to replace it every two months or it tends to get on the dry side. The second complaint is a superficial one. I just don't like the packaging. Overall, fantastic product. I love this mascara, especially with the primer. I don't normally wear mascara simply because I have always avoided harsh chemical makeup that I feared would damage my lashes (or worse, my eyes!). I feel confident wearing this product because it is made with many nourishing ingredients and without the all the toxins and harmful chemicals. I gave this four stars (instead of five) for two reasons: [1] I wish the brush was a little more accommodating (e.g. larger, better at separating the lashes), and [2] I do find the formula a little thick and it requires practice at applying it without overdoing it (potentially resulting in tarantula lashes). I prefer a more natural looking application. Lastly, this is not a criticism per se, more of a would-be-nice point: I wish there were more colour options instead of just black. I would love, love, LOVE to see a dark navy mascara from tarte - the dark navy makes brown eyes really pop (at least mine do! ;o) Thanks tarte! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I love this! I recieved it in the Tarte True blood Pallet and it is definately a product that I will replace when I run out! I wish it was more water proof. However it does hold up well for a non water proof mascara. Also it seperates and makes my lashes look longer with out becoming spider lashes. = ] Would you buy this product again? Yes

I have this mascara and the gifted amazonian clay one. I cannot say I prefer one or the other. They are both great; but the fact the gifted has the amazonian clay makes it seem like a better choice! Lights, camera, lashes goes on easy doesn't clump and makes my lashes look super pretty. Either way, go Tarte for making these available! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I use this daily! I really like it and how is separates all of my lashes. It is a little "wet" so I have make sure that my lashes are dry otherwise they get mascara on my lids. But it's not a bad product. It does wash off easily which is a bonus. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I spent over a year searching for the best mascara and I finally found it 5 months ago! I love this mascara because it adds both length and volume to my wimpy blond lashes. It's very soft after you apply it and layers well so I can go for a more natural look doing the day and then apply more in the evening. I love it with the eyelash primer and think the combination of the two has made my lashes fuller and longer. Also, it comes off easily with eye makeup remover or baby shampoo (my preferred, quick method for removing eye makeup.) As a vegan, I won't use products that test on animals, so this line is perfect. The only reason it didn't get the full five stars is that it dries out so quickly (maybe due to the dry desert air here) that I have to replace every 6 weeks or so. Would you buy this product again? Being half Japanese, half Irish....I was cursed with sparse, stick straight, WIMPY eyelashes BOOO! I could not find a mascara that would hold it's curl as promised. Enter Lights, Camera, Lashes. WOWZA! Talk about sex appeal, come hither lashes that I never in a million years though I could obtain. My lashes were wonderfully amplified, longer, and best of all.....held it's curl and lift! I used to be a high end cosmetic girl filled with chemicals that never helped my lashes, enter Marueens high end not only natural but beneficial product line and I will never turn back! While I still may tinker with Chanel and Dior's collections for the seasons, my staple has slowly become completely taken over by tarte! Tarte is an addiction for me! I HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING!!!! This is a fantastic product! It does exactly what a mascara should do. It makes your lashes look longer, thicker, and healthier, but without being clumpy. It also smudges less than some of my waterproof or water resistant formulas, but still comes off easily! There are more dramatic mascaras out there, but this one is perfect for everyday use. I love it so much! Have repurchased several times, and will again! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I bought this mascara at Ulta because it is so popular. I liked it because it didn't irritate my sensitive eyes. It was a very lengthening mascara but not very thickening. I read the reviews before I purchased this mascara...couldn't wait to receive it in the mail, but was very disappointed after using it for a couple of weeks. I had used Cover Girl's inexpensive brand for years and never experienced the "raccoon eyes" that I experienced with this mascara. I also had much flaking throughout the day. It covered my lashes well and made them appear thicker, but I had clumping when applying. HANDS DOWN!!! This the best mascara on the market!!! I have tried so many through the years, being a bit of a make-up junkie...but once I found this one, I have STOPPED! It is PHENOMENAL! Lengthens, separates and volumizes! And applies so easily! And it is totally buildable, so you have control of just how big you want your lashes to be! Maureen really knocked it out of the park with this one! I keep repurchasing it over and over, and have never done that with a mascara in the past. Absolutely amazing. I usually react to EVERYTHING and this doesn't irritate my eyes at all, while lengthening my lashes, and holding a curl. It even works its magic on my stick-straight, short Asian lashes for an entire day, something that I've never been able to find. The brush picks up a lot of product coming out of the bottle, which used to make my lashes all clumpy, but if you scrape it along the side of the opening as you pull it out, it's perfect. Honestly, this is the best mascara I have ever used! I received a travel size in one of the collections that I purchased and I adore it. I remember seeing this on QVC so many times & the model's lashes were always so long & thick! Well, I finally decided to give Tarte products a try at the local Ulta store. I had previously been using Mally Beauty's waterproof which gives the faux lash look but I was just tired of my lashes feeling stiff & getting every little hair/fuzz in them & giving my sensitive allergic eyes a big pain. I tried the original & waterproof of this version of Tarte mascara & I instantly fell in love!! This mascara is so very amazing!! It goes on like a dream...and my lashes stay so soft & pretty no matter how many coats I put on! That made me a Tartelette forever, I will never buy another mascara other than Tarte's. It stays incredibly well & I am blown away by how thick, long & SOFT my lashes are...they feel like my bare natural lashes but they look even better than any faux lashes ever!! I love it being all natural & knowing what a great company Tarte is. If the length & volume isn't a no-brainer for you, the feeling of soft, bare lashes but not that clumpy, yucky mascara feeling...well, trust me, you won't be able to go back to those other mascaras, I know I won't!! I purchased the set from Ulta that has a deluxe sample of the original & waterproof version (I tried to buy the waterproof full size over 2 months but it was always sold out!!) and I do love them both...but being in humid FL & having crazy bad allergies, I have to stick to the waterproof version myself. They are both very great at long wear & the waterproof is 100% not going anywhere until you want it to, but comes off easy as pie with remover. After being disappointed with the flakiness and clumpiness with multiplEYE, I was skeptical to try another tarte mascara. I received a small size with a gift set. Lights, camera, lashes! totally restored my faith in tarte mascara.
The brush is well-designed. Not too big to be clumsy, a nice medium thickness to quickly coat lashes, and narrower at the tip to reach those corner lashes. I feel a subtle "pull" on my lashes, like it stretches them to apply the product. The tube dispenses the right amount, no blotting necessary.
Lights, camera, lashes! does what mascara is supposed to do: volumize, lengthen, and define. I like that the volume is buildable, so a few strokes look great for day, or you can build a lot more volume for night. Plus, no clumps and no flakes, and it removes a little easier than some of my mascaras. This will become a staple in my collection for sure. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I received a sample size in the packaging that came along with the eyelash curler. After having tried the product, I cannot even put into words how surprised I was by its quality and results. Skeptical about its staying power, I honestly did not have high hopes for this mascara. I tend to lean more towards waterproof solutions to avoid mid-day smudges in my under eye area and to keep the curl.
Not once did I consider this particular Tarte mascara during my research for a higher-end brand. I made the mistake in purchasing a tube of the much-raved "****Show in waterproof" mascara before having tried lights, cameras, lashes! Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed by it and myself for having spent so much money on a useless product. Not many people I know said they tried Tarte mascaras. I was the first, and am completely hooked. It adds volume and length to my lashes. There is NO clumping. The staying power is amazing and keeps my lashes' defined curls. Tip: Use a blow dryer to heat your eyelash curler. Curl lashes. Apply mascara. Voila! Absolutely AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this product. My mom, sister, and 3 of my girlfriends love this product just as much as I do.

As a former Dior Show addict, I totally swear by this mascara, especially when coupled with the lash primer for what looks like false eyelashes on me. This mascara does NOT run with my super watery eyes or flake under my eyes like nearly every previous mascara (besides Dior Show) I've ever worn. It's also not clumpy when worn alone, but it the primer it can be a bit, however a simple run through with a clean mascara brush solves this nicely. I just started using this mascara. I used to use a product that cost me almost $10 more than this and got clumped when several coats were added.
This mascara does not clump and offered exactly what it says it gives...volume, curl, and length.
It washes off easily and builds for any level of drama you desire.

This mascara is a really phenomenal mascara! It doesn't flake or smudge and is easy to take off. However, the reason i don't give this five starts is that it does not hold the curl for my lashes. I have straight lashes that only keep the culr with waterproof formula. After a couple uses it dries out and if you apply only ONE THIN coat of mascara, your lashes look long, clean, defines, and stay curled! It still lengthens lashes with only coat. Hope this helps. I am in love. I have been using MAC Zoomlash since I started wearing makeup (( about 7 years )) and had always had watery eyes with everything that I tried and kept going back to the MAC product because it was the least severe of everything I had tried. I was recently diagnosed with celiacs disease and have been trying to cut out all gluten from my life. I love that a lot of tarte products do not have gluten in the ingredients list.
Now, as I said before... I am IN LOVE with this mascara. It does so much more for my lashes than any other mascara I have tried. I was blessed with naturally full and long lashes, although they are very light in color ((my hair is naturally platinum)) and this mascara makes them look even fuller. There is no doubt that this is an awesome mascara. It doesnt smudge and keeps the curl nicely and for me that's nothing short of a miracle. But I really hate the packaging because it's so bulky. It looks like QVC was offering a two-pack w/o this packaging which would be a better deal for me. It also doesn't have a ton of product. For those two reasons, I deducted one star. Really love this mascara.
Gives big, bold lashes in a flash. Lights, camera, lashes! mascara wears like waterproof, but lashes stay soft and flexible - not crunchy ( also washes off super easy at night) I have never found a mascara that I really loved until I bought lights, camera, lashes! mascara. I have been buying this mascara for about a year now. This was the first Tarte product I tried and now I have switched over almost all my makeup.

This mascara came with a set I bought and I seriously love it. I actually only used it twice because it is my "special" occasion mascara....that is until I get another one to stash away haha :D Come Christmas and I will have 10 of them ;)
I have pretty short stubby lashes that are quite thick. I find that this mascara makes them look longer, and even thicker. It does not clump (maybe if you use 10 coats it will) and holds curl very nicely. I usually don't like most so-called "volumizing" or "defining" mascaras because all they do is pile up the junk on your lashes and make them look spidery or childish; in a nutshell, I'm extremley picky. But this mascara is the BEST!!!! Nothing even compares this is my dream mascara I am not planning on using anything else for a long time. Within about a week of using it, my lashes not only looked longer but definitley more volumized and defined! I instantly had natural-looking, hot lashes! I love this mascara for several reasons:
1) it does not clump, smudge or flake no matter how long I have been wearing it and if I feel like adding anOther coat several hours later, I can do that and it will go on smoother than any other brand I have attempted this with.
2) it washes off easily with warm water and my cleanser. I don't need eye makeup remover, which is an extra step I can happily avoid.
3) it never irritates my eyes.

Because it thickens, the lashes look longer. So, if you have short lashes and are expecting a miracle, invest in an eyelash curler to make yours appear longer. That should do the trick.

I recently tried this mascara because I love the packaging. It does great things for your eyelashes (namely making them gigantic), but I prefer the formula of Tarte gifted instead. This is still good quality - soft lashes, no flaking, makes your lashes bigger and longer, and never smudges. Best of all - it washes off so easily! I have finally found my mascara! Usually, I am always on the hunt for mascara but I am totally satisfied with Tarte's Lights Camera Lashes. It makes my lashes look polished for day and I can always add another layer for an amped up night look. The best part is that this product doesn't inhibit the growth of my lashes. I've gotten minis of this mascara with kits before, and I love it! I find that it gives great definition to the lashes, makes them black, and even helps hold up the curl (if you curl your lashes). The only problem with it is that it can get a little clumpy if you're halfway through the tube and it begins to dry out. I've found that if I run the mascara brush under a little bit of water and then apply it, it works beautifully and doesn't clump at all, even on small bottom eyelashes. I'm not sure why this works but it's helped extend the life of my mascara. :) I would definitely recommend this mascara! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I wanted to love this mascara, but unfortunately, don't. I got it in a makeup set, and was really excited to try it out. I loved how smooth and dark the mascara was, but after a few hours of only wearing it, my eyes began to burn. I can't decide if I love this mascara or the new gifted mascara more! Both are fabulous! I've tried so many different mascaras and I'm usually disappointed, but not with this one. It does everything it claims, increasing lash volume and curl. Not only that, it defines and separates and is never sticky or clumping, so my lashes look natural. I have sensitive skin and wear contacts and a lot of mascaras make my eye area feel dry or irritated. But this mascara never has--it's great for sensitive skin. The only not-so-great thing about it is that it doesn't lengthen all that much--you might want to use another mascara to achieve the length you want. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I am forever on the search for a mascara that I can say that I truly love. I HAVE FOUND IT! This is the best mascara I have used, and I've used a lot of them. I have somewhat sparse, short lashes and this catches every lash and makes them nice and long without making it look like I have spiders on my eyes. I have used one tube almost up and it is still a perfect consistancy. NO CLUMPING! It also does not flake under my eyes, which says a lot because with my allergies I sneeze a lot and usually have a dark shadow of mascara under my eye by mid morning. I do not have that problem with this mascara.

The best thing about this mascara is it is one of the few that doesn't contain glycol, so you can use it with Novalash eyelash extensions. I didn't want to pay $25 for a tiny tube for the Novalash brand of mascara. I looked EVERYWHERE for mascara without glycol. I only found 2 kinds that didn't have it, and this was one of them. Wow! This mascara really lengthens your lashes. It has only one flaw that I know of. It only comes in black. I have red hair and very fair skin. This was very good-- it creates a lot of volume, and doesn't weigh down my lashes. I typically use a curler before mascara. A lot of other mascaras weigh down the curl, which defeats the point of a curler-- however, this does not. Wonderful product. Would you buy this product again? Yes

Can't say ONE bad thing about this mascara, as most of the reviews will attest to... Fantastic length, volume, separation without clumps, perfect. Could NOT be any happier with a mascara. The only reason I give this product 4.5 stars instead of 5 is because I find the packaging to be very annoying. I prefer a simple tube, not all the snake skin looking fabric crap. I use lash hugger and honestly I don't see a difference in the formulas other than this one builds more volume. I don't really need more volume because I'm 26 and my lashes are thick. But my mom, who is 57, has thinning lashes and I gave her my tube of this stuff and she loves it. She bought another tube for herself this weekend from Sephora. This mascara is amazing. I have long fair lashes that pretty much don't exist until I use mascara. I have been using this mascara as a sample and recently bought it in a kit as a full size item. The formulation of this mascara is what really makes me happy. I can apply two coat and my lashes are still flexible. (Have you noticed that some mascaras can make your lashes like concrete?)
Anyways, the packaging is really cute and I am thrilled my the products. I wish it came in a black/brown or brown shade as well. That way other ladies who find black mascara not to their liking can enjoy this great mascara! :) Would you buy this product again? Yes

LOVE this!! Doesn't get clumpy in the bottle after several weeks like other mascaras, yet is not runny nor takes forever to dry. Separates my lashes as if I've used a brush comb, which is great, because there's just not enough time for all of the other lash tools. I just got this product in the mail and was a little leary about because I thought it would be too natural looking. I have a mascara from Pür Minerals, which is another natural brand, and it is too natural looking for me. It doesn't show up as much as I would like it to. I like a little pop, and this mascara totally accomplishes that. It doesn't clump, doesn't look too dramatic, but gives great length and volume to lashes. I even think it curled mine a bit!! Absolutely love this product!!! It makes my lashes look so long without looking clumpy! It also stays flexible on my lashes so it doesn't flake off into my eyes. The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is because one of the 3 bottles I bought was really dry. Like the lid didn't get closed all the way and it dried up. One of the best mascaras I have ever used. It does clump a bit if I over-apply it, but that can be brushed out a bit. It definitely lengthens, and gives me gorgeous long black lashes. Two of the best things about it are that it doesn't flake during the day and gather in fine lines under my eyes, and it washes off extremely easily without become a horrible greasepaint mess. It also doesn't irritate my eyes (I don't have sensitive eyes, per se, but after several hours of wear with other brands they would sometimes burn or itch). Would you buy this product again? Yes

The best mascara ever. I have naturally long thick dark lashes. I only really use mascara to re-darken them after I apply my foundation and powder. The first week I used this mascara I was not sure about it. I thought that it was a bit clumpy. My friend told me to wipe the wand on the side of the tube thoroughly. Since I started doing that, I love it. It makes my lashes look like I am heading to shoot a mascara commercial. Yup, they are that amazing. One coat is nice for classes and work, it helps to darken lengthen and adds a bit more thickness. Before I go out at night, I add another coat and it is wowza lashes. I love that it can be used for a boost to your natural lashes, or can be coated for special occasions. I will buy this again, and again, and again. I would love to see it in other colors. I would like a dark brown, an auburn (for red heads), blond, purple or plum (for green eyes), navy (for brown eyes) Would you buy this product again? Yes

I am an admitted mascara 'whore'. I try every new one, and never buy the same tube twice. This is the exception. 2 coats yeilds thick, long lashes that are not clumpy, and could pass for fake. Combine with an eyelash curler and its insane.
One note, the formula is almost too wet the first few applications, which makes it easy to apply too much and get mucky. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This mascara does a great job of lengthening, volumizing, and lifting my naturally straight and somewhat fine lashes. My only complaints are that it is a little hard to remove completely even with a natural oil-based makeup remover and that it only comes in black - though the color choices are not a huge deal. (I typically wear black anyway, but I'd love to see some eye color-enhancing shades like a dark navy, plum, or chocolate.) I do love that it doesn't smudge, and even after a little cry, it stayed put even though it isn't waterproof. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I recently bought this mascara at the mall and it truly does what it said the first few times. After a wile of use the mascara looses its power. It still works fine but not as well as the fist few times from opening it. I would still use it because it works better than all the other ones I have tried and I love the fact that it doesn't smell as strong and it doesn't have all the bad ingridients all the other mascaras have. This is absolutely the BEST mascara on the market. Believe me when I tell you that I have tried ALL of them and none can come close to this. It's very delicate yet natural looking. The thing I LOVE LOVE about it is that it stays put no matter what but when it's time to take off all I have to do is wash like I normally would and it comes off that easily. There's no irritation on my lashes, infact, I feel with every stroke that I put on it's almost nourishing to my lashes unlike the others that I've used (and we won't mention any names) but why not put on a mascara that actually not only makes your lashes look TERRIFIC but also nourishes and protects it. This mascara works great at making my eyelashes look prettier =) The only thing I don't like about it is that it does not work good with primer at all. I like to use primer on all my lashes first to condition them...the wand on this mascara has kind of stiff bristles so it picks up some of my primer creating flakes. On days where I'm too lazy to prime my eyelashes, this mascara works great. I don't need tons of coats, it's easy to apply, makes my eyelashes look a lot fuller, stays on well but isn't too difficult to remove at the end of the day. Overall I definitely like it! Wow, Tarte products continue to amaze me. This mascara works better than any other that I have tried. It defines and evenly coats each and every lash while making your lashes look more voluminous and long. I have tried almost every mascara out there (seriously), and this is the best mascara I have come across. The pigment is also really dark which helps to make lashes look even better. Lashes look perfect with just one coat, and with two coats you can achieve a false lash look. This mascara is very easy to remove with gentle soap and water, or with eye make-up remover. The one and only down side I have come across with this mascara is that it transfers onto my lower-eyelid if my skin gets oily, however, this can be prevented by using smooth operator micronized clay finishing powder under my eyes to make sure the skin doesn't get oily, and also by curling my lashes to make sure they don't touch my lower eyelids.
Try this mascara and you will fall in love with it and your lashes! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Definitely worth trying. I like a pretty dramatic eye, so this wasn't quite what I am looking for. It is nice for everday. I love natural products, so this is definitely a great alternative to other product choices. It is easy to apply and the brush is nice. The tube is really cute too. Would you buy this product again? I love this mascara! Its very light and does not weigh my eyelashes down. I have straight Asian lashes which are sparse and short. When I wear this with my lashes curled (bent) it looks really long. It comes off extremely easy, and with that said, water and this does not mix, so be careful if you're going on a water ride, etc..! It will run. I just stocked up on 4 of these bad boys. The packaging is also gorgeous to tote around. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I can't say I ever found a mascara that I absolutely love. This comes as close as it gets. It does great with one coat (which I prefer) and doesn't flake off too much during the day. Doesn't irritate me like some can. Not too bad of a price either.
Biggest downside is the cover. The fake purple croc skin looks fun, but makes using the product a bit of a pain. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This is by far the best mascara you can get. Throw out all your artificial mascaras and get the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! because you will never find anything that makes your lashes look more gorgeous.
Firstly, I love the fact that it is cruelty-free, unlike so many of the drugstore brands like Maybelline or Covergirl. It is so fulfilling to know that I can look good and not harm animals at the same time. It is also free of many other harmful things, most of all parabens, which pose a major safety risk. This way, I feel safe putting things so close to my eye without worrying that if I get some in accidentally, it will cause adverse effects in my body.
Secondly, one might think it is impossible for an all-natural mascara to perform well, but it actually is the smoothest, most effective mascara I've tried. I have no idea how Tarte does it! The wand isn't made of cheap fibers like other wands. It is a very unique sort of thing that somehow separates yet reaches all my lashes. I love it--it is short and stays out of the way, but does its job extraordinarily well. Now for the actual mascara--it does not clump. Even after the first swipe you can see that all your lashes are coated. Add a few more coats and I actually look like I have false lashes! This is a miracle, because I have very sparse, thin eyelashes. I never dreamed they would look so long and volumized. The lengthening effect is incredible--you have to see it to believe it. And if you zigzag the wand like it tells you to, the lashes plump up before your eyes. It removes easily yet does not smudge throughout the day. I have even slept with it on and woke up looking the same! This is such a miracle mascara! Why would you ever get anything else? Would you buy this product again? Yes

i loooooove this mascara! i used to be a no-mascara kinda girl just because my eyelashes are fairly long and all other mascaras clump my eyelashes together
this mascara makes my eyelashes look long and pretty and it barely clumps/ will not clump at all if you take your time applying it
prior to this mascara i also hated how other mascaras would end up under my eyes by the end of the night/when i woke up in the morning
this mascara stays on and looks natural and when i forget to take it off before bed i don't have to worry about looking completely ugly in the morning and having to scrub it off my face

it's really easy to apply: goes on smooth and dries fairly fast. great with my shu uemura curler because my lashes are usually hard to curl. this really perks up your eyes without irritating them. i've also fallen asleep with this on, and it was no biggie! Would you buy this product again? Yes

First mascara I can say I love for many reasons. I would tell others to buy it.
1st: It protects your lashes and keeps them from breaking off with all the moisture it retains (This is a big deal for anyone with barley there lashes or the ones who have really long lashes and want to keep them that way.) Long lashes actually tend to crossover each other or get bent out of shape from sleeping. And when one falls off into your eyes, it hurts SO much. Using this keeps them in place with out the damage after use.
2nd: natural minerals and no animal testing. That's important to me. No eye irritation.
3rd: I only have to use one coat, which is good for me because I hate clumps and I don't call myself an expert on putting mascara
4th: My eyelashes do not feel heavy, they feel natural. Would you buy this product again? Yes

If I could give this product 100 stars I would! I have never in all my fifty (mumbles) years used a mascara that I love more than this one. Finally Finally Finally....NO CLUMPS! How much money have I spent on mascaras that claim to not leave clumps!? I actually got this as a trial size and FELL in LOVE with it instantly! Love Love Love how it makes my lashes look - Volume and Length! They look and feel healthier. It doesn't flake, no clumps, and the brush is the perfect size and shape.

After reading the reviews for this mascara, I just had to try it. I ordered it in a value set with the bottoms up and rejuvelash. It really makes my lashes beautiful - light and feathery, but with lots of added length and a good amount of volume. The brush is fantastic - best mascara brush I've found, and I've used A LOT of them. I did take half a star off simply because it didn't deliver quite as much volume as I was hoping for. Nothing against the mascara, but I prefer ridiculously dramatic lashes (I might have to try the multiplEYE for that). Also, my lashes feel very healthy using this. Would you buy this product again? Absolutely love this mascara! I received the mascara at QVC's beauty bash, and it has been my mascara ever since. I have a hard time finding a mascara that does not make my eyes feel itchy after a few uses or make them dry before the end of the work day. This mascara is the best! This is by far the best mascara I have ever used. And as a major bonus, it omits most, if not all harsh chemicals that is found in other mascaras. I have naturally long lashes so this really enhances it to the point that I am asked consistantly where I purchased my lashes (lol)! It still looks so soft, touchable, long lasting (without flakes), full, and best of all, my lashes does not fall out. I almost forgot, all you need is water and it comes right off (I normally do this during my nightly warm shower).
Seriously, sounds perfect because it almost is, try it and you be the judge...

I got a sample of this at Ulta when I bought the Tarte lip stain/gloss duo in nude (which I really love). My lashes are a decent length naturally, so I don't need a ton of lengthening. I'd say they are pretty average, black lashes. I was primarily looking for a volumizer, and this mascara does a really good job. One of the BEST mascaras out there! You get wonderful full and long lashes. Not only does it look great, but it also comes off very easy when you wash your face- which is always a great plus!
Another great thing about this product is that my mother, who is allergic to make-up can use this mascara without any eye irritation, so if you suffer from the same problems, definitely give this mascara a try!!

I can't believe this mascara got one review above 2 stars. The only good thing I can say about it is, it does LOOK really nice going on (doesn't clump). But after only 2 hours of wear, it starts to smear. I mean, literally, I can gently swipe a finger tip across my lashes and it comes off on my fingertips. Tiny flakes of it get in my eyes throughout the day. Now here's the kicker - I got conjunctivitis from using it. I'm certain it was caused by this mascara because I used eyedrops to clear it up and then started using the mascara again - got another infection. My tube was new, not old. It says the ingredients are all natural. Well, I'm not impressed. If you know anything about chemistry, then you know that all natural isn't always less harmful. Just google pesticides on the subject of synthetic vs. organic and see what you find.
In defense of tarte, I'll say their waterproof mascara (the one in the denim casing) is AMAZING. I've used it for over a year. It's truly bar none. That stuff is non-irritating....you can go swimming with it and it won't come off. But with a little oil-based eye makeup remover, it comes off with no problem. It clumps slightly more than this one does BUT that is easily overcome with an eyelash comb. So buy that one instead - you won't be disappointed! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I really wanted to like this mascara but it was too thick and clumpy for me. I guess I prefer a defining mascara. My lashes seemed to stick together with it. I don't own a lash comb - maybe that would have helped. It definitely made my lashes stand out, though. Would you buy this product again? Yes

The natural ingredients are really important because I bought it for my teanaged sister.
We all have long lashes so we didn't really need it to be lengthening. What we really loved was the non clumping!

I didn't notice much curling action from this mascara on its own but after using my curler it sealed the curve right in place! It doesn't smudge and the brush grabs all of the little hairs and coats them evenly without clumping up like others I've tried! Would you buy this product again? Yes

If there was a mascara holy grail, this would be it! My lashes aren't terrible but they aren't as long or as plump as I would like. lights, camera, lashes! actually does both...plumps and lengthens. I've even been asked if I'm wearing false eyelashes a few times. This product never flakes and never leaves traces behind on my eye lid, even when I apply it too soon after my eye cream. And it comes off easily with my regular cleanser. I'm sure I sound like I work for Tarte (I don't); I'm just totally head-over-heels in love with lights, camera, lashes!
