I got the sheer red to show up well. My tip for avoiding staining your hands but getting an even blend is using a brush only slightly larger than the cream eyeshadow brush (smaller than the blush brush that comes in the trio kit).

Pretty disappointing product. I got it in Nectar and it's barely visible on my skin (I have light to medium skintone). All in all, an awkward product that dispenses too much, doesn't spread well, and seems to stain the fingers more than the cheeks.

I love that this stuff stays on forever and has incredible pigmentation. yes, you have to be careful how you apply it. Also makes a great lip stain. Takes an act of congress to remove, but how is that a bad thing? Not in my book. Love!

First cheek tint I try and I'm kind on the fence about it. When apply it properly it gives you the natural healthy flush. However, it does require a little bit of practice applying it and since it does dry quite fast you gotta work fast and blend blend blend. Overall, great product, gel-like texture, super pigmented, plus for the price it deserves a try. By the way I'm NC 35 and own the color light pink.

I love Tarte but not this product. Terrible application, stains fingers, can not be evenly blended on your cheeks. :(((

I bought this because I prefer a cheek stain to blush and am impressed with it. I have fair skin and got the light pink shade. It is very sheer and even on my fair, fair skin I had to build up the color so you could see it! I liked this about it! My only complaint is that it is in a pump and not a tube or something, as it is hard to not get too little or too much out. Next time I will try the regular cheek stain, but I still LOVE this color. It is not too bright at all which is what I'm always afraid of because I'm so fair-skinned. As other reviewers have said, it tends to stay on my finger more and brighter than on my cheeks and I have no idea why! Would definitely recommend this color for someone fair skinned!

I recently purchased this product in both Deep Berry and Light Nectar. I have to say that I LOVE these colors and they absorb into the skin and stain them just the way it's described. However, I have to admit it does stain and absorb the skin QUICKLY so you have to work fast! I recommend getting a stippling brush for this product because that'll be the best way to apply it if you want a really nice, blended look. Other than that, I still love this product and love that you can make this blush look more subtle or really stand out. LOVE!

I'm a darker skinned woman (mufe 180, nw47 mac) I purchased dark berry and it's really pretty! You can put a little and have a little flushed look or you can build it up and make it more dramatic. I also have applied a darker berry powder blush on top it was nice also. My only gripe it that it seems like it fades after 6-7 hours.

Terrible Application. Stains fingers and you really have to use a good soap and scrub brush to get it off. Also I didnt like the colors I tried which was a Red and a Berry I felt like I looked like Bette Davis even though I went lightly and blended as quick as I could but it is really difficult to control even the slightest amount from pumping out.

I found a use for them so that I don't have to throw them out and that is to use them as a lip stain with a little gloss over them....but I'm trying to figure out the best applicator for applying to the lips as a lip lining brush is too thin and I certainly won't be using my fingers. I may buy some very small and pointed synthetic concealer brushes from the local drugstore and keep a few on hand to wash out while I'm using another. I won't use my fingers or put these on my cheeks anymore.

I wasn't sure about this stuff at first, since I'd never used blush like this before. The first time I used it, I didn't realize how quickly it stains the skin, so it turned out streaky and weird. Luckily, I gave it another shot, and now it's my go-to blush. I love how natural it looks and how lightly it sits on my skin. I have a fair olive complexion, and the light pink looks great. My only complaint is that it stains my finger just as much as my face, but that seems pretty unavoidable. I want the peachy shade next.
