I got the shade Light. But, it turned out to be a light/ Medium which I was not pleased with. However through the summer sun I will be that shade and be able to use the product. The package is very nice and so is the feel of the foundation. It covers while adding colo rand is hydrating with out being oily.

I have dry skin and I love this foundation. I apply Clinique moisture sure moisturizer and then apply this foundation with the beauty blender. it gives me a natural look, however it does oxidizes a bit over the day, but not too drastically. overall, I love this foundation, and will re-purchase when I ran out.

I love the Amazonian Clay foundation, but I always like trying new foundations and got this one since it was on sale. I have dry skin, but find that the Amazonian Clay foundation diminishes my dry patches better. I read the other reviews and agree that it has a strange smell. Not a sunscreen smell more of a chemical smell. I got light since I knew it was going to be darker (I wear a mix of light with a little bit of medium in the AC), but it was still too dark and yellow-toned which doesn't happen often since I have Asian skin.

I am so disappointed by this product. I was so excited to get this product in the mail. The color I purchased was deep. Its NOT deep. The foundation is ashy,"cakey" and just horrible. I am a NW50 in Mac. The color that is shown, is NOT the color you receive. It is about 2 shades lighter and has a yellow under tone. I will never purchase any foundations from Tarte again

The smell is not pleasing but it protects against the sun so o well. I also wish that the colors would be the same throughout all the make up. I tried this foundation in ulta before I bought it and my color was light. My concealer is in medium so it would be nice if they ran the same.

The foundation leaves your skin with a nice moist look. I do use a matte foundation on my nose so it is not shinny. I like that it runs yellow because it looks more natural on my skin.

I am so disappointed with this foundation. I am a NW45 in Mac foundation. I got this foundation in deep. This foundation is NOT for dark skin women. It looks ashy, cakey and it applies horrible. I own another foundation too and its the same thing. The foundation in "deep" is more like beige. I just can't believe this foundation is so bad. I have some eye shadow palettes from Tarte and I love them. I guess I will have to stick with my other foundations.

I absolutely love the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and on a whim I decided to see what all the hoopla was about in regards to Maracuja oil, needless to say, I decided to try this liquid foundation. It did not disappoint. Even, flawless, dewy coverage. The Maracuja is very silky in texture, I did not have any gritty residue but I did gently shake the bottle as suggested. Compared to the clay foundation, the maracuja is slightly less of a "full coverage" and would recommend using a concealer with this one, or just pat on extra foundation over target areas. I have extremely oily skin and the clay foundation works amazingly-I wear it with the tarte's purple tube primer and I do not have to set it with any loose face powder. However, the miracuja foundation, like I said-leaves a dewy, almost ethereal finish, so I highly recommend setting it with powder and if you do have really oily skin, carry oil blotting sheets in your purse. My shade for the amazonian clay is light-medium so I figured I'd be the same in the maracuja line, but no! I went into my local Ulta and swatched the colors myself so I am actually light in this foundation, hopefully Tarte.com will let me do an exchange. I would have given it 5 stars if it could hold up against oily skin but I guess the trade-off is that during wintertime it will be very conditioning and hydrating for my skin.

i love tarte hands down. i tend to switch between this and the amazonian clay foundation. my skin likes to switch between oily and dry. when its oily i use amazonian clay. i was just turned onto this in sephora about a week ago when my skin became dry again. its such a great foundation for dry skin, i mix it with a tiny bit of maracuja oil before applying and my skin looks dewy and not dry all day. i love it.

I got this foundation in a Today's special value kit from qvc. I really enjoy how hydrating this foundation is. I also have the amazonian clay foundation, which is what I usually use. When my skin feels dry I use the maracuja so I use that more in the winter. This foundation and the clay foundation are BEST!!

I am a huge HUGE Tarte fan but I was so disappointed after trying this product. I have been eyeballing this foundation for a while but didn't purchase it right away because of the price. I love the Maracuja Oil so I thought I would love this foundation as well. The foundation was on sale online so I jumped on the opportunity to try it out.
After hearing that this foundation runs lighter than the Amazonian Clay foundation (my shade is tan and it suites me perfectly), I decided to get the Maracuja Miracle Foundation in medium tan. It was too light for me. I also read that the foundation runs yellow, I don't mind because I have a tan-olive complexion, but this shade came off very pink.
Another thing I read is that the foundation smelled like sunblock. I didn't mind that as well but the worst of the worst thing was my foundation smelled and felt like expired sunblock. It had a gritty texture, enough to be an exfoliator.
I expect a lot more from Tarte because all their other products are so so amazing. Maybe I received one from a bad batch? I'm not sure but I don't think I would spend my money on this again.
