I received two as a free sample... as a mascara it is okay... i am sure it would be alot better with the prior two steps... it seemed a lil clumpy and I HATE that. i did only use it once so. Maybe i should give it another shot. I gave the other sample to my sister and she uses it and likes it. Maybe i would like it more with the other steps! I do want to get the other two to try the entire system out! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I can't say anything about this products enhancing abilities, as I only used it once. I will say the part 1 of the 3 step regimen, the enhancer was a charm and I am getting a second one soon. As for this mascara, I really wasn't a fan of the way it applied. I'm wondering if perhaps it was old because it was extremely globby on the mascara wand... Would you buy this product again? Yes

I like the brush; I feel that it disperses the product evenly with no clumps. I like the look the formula gives my lashes more defined and a bit longer. I think this is a great everyday mascara and can be layered for more drama if desired. I am guessing it takes a month or so for the lush lash growth... so we'll see! Would you buy this product again? This mascara (by itself) is just okay. I got a sample and only used it for about a week before discarding it. I usually use samples for at least a month. Not that impressed but I only used it by itself. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I see this has some mixed reviews because of the formula (it is drier than most mascaras I've used) but I still have been able to make it work WONDERS for me. It does definitely thicken and I do notice some length (especially when I use it with the primer). I also think that if you want to be able to really layer this I'd suggest using a lash comb which is why I think this mascara has done well for me. I don't get lash fallout when taking it off at the end of the day which is great and whenever I use this mascara I ALWAYS get compliments on my lashes (I've used A LOT of different brands and this is the only one I've received so many compliments anytime I wear this). I still suggest buying this even with some of the negative reviews, I just think you just need to know how to work it (lash comb a definite). Also, it is non-irritaing (I wear contacts), I do not get fallout, and it does not make my lashes brittle or stiff. I have been using a drugstore brand lately to help cut back on costs but I think I'll have to cut back elsewhere as this is my new favorite mascara. TARTE: PLEASE DON'T STOP MAKING THIS MASCARA (OR THE REST OF THE STEPS!!!!) IT IS AMAZING!!!! THANKS!!! ;) Would you buy this product again? Yes

My eyelashes are touching my eyebrows!
I am writing this review because of what I have just seen in the mirror. I have never had bad lashes, but lately they became fragile/dry from never being cared for and always having drugstore mascara on. I wear the primer when I go to sleep and mascara (without primer) during the day. I just feel like this way ingredients from one product do not interfere with the other. Maybe I am wrong but it worked for me. I used it for 5 days and my eyelashes are touching my eyebrows. I wish I could show it to you.

I really love most of tarte's products, therefore, I wanted to love MultiplEYE, but this mascara is not of the quality I expect from them. I tried this as part of a set.
First, the brush is huge and fluffy. This is a pet peeve of mine about mascara brushes. Brushes like this often clump and you're more likely to get mascara on your eyelids because the brush is less precise.
Second, MultiplEYE gives a rough, fibrous appearance to lashes. Imagine dipping a smooth pretzel stick in chocolate fondue and then rolling it in large chocolate sprinkles. That is what your lashes look like on a smaller scale. This does not give a smooth appearance despite the creamy texture.
Third, the fibers flake off AS you apply! It does build volume quickly but by the time I got my lashes reasonably de-clumped, I had tons of little flakes underneath my eyes. It couldn't have been dried out, I used it right away! I do not think any of these flaws would change if I used the primer. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I use the whole 3-step multiplEYE system and love it! They go so well together and deliver results. My lashes are healthier, stronger, and more full. My only complaint is that the last time I used this mascara it dried out quicker than usual, but that could have been my fault for not closing it up tight enough. Thank you Tarte for giving me lashes to die for!! (I even had someone who professionally administers those long term falsh lashes complement me on my NATURAL lashes! Woo hoo!) I bought the whole 3-step system, primer went on unevenly and this mascara is a bit clumpy and flaky. The positive is that it does extent your lashes. I also have very sensitive eyes, and allergies and this product did not irritate them... Would you buy this product again? Yes

I bought this after having a less-than-great experience with the waterproof version and love it! I really have noticed my lashes looking fuller and healthier when naked and when I wear this mascara they're amazing! The only minor drawback I have noticed is that it seems to flake off and not build up my lashes that well after about two months of use when I'm typically able to use one tube of mascara for 3 months. this is my favorite tarte mascara, as it adds a bit more drama than lights, camera, lashes does, which is great for my short, thin and straight lashes. it lengthens, adds volume, separates, and also holds a curl fairly well. it also doesn't flake or clump, and i like that the formula isn't too wet, which seems to help hold the curl. I really loved this when I first got it. My lashes were definitely longer and thicker. Almost looked like I had on fakes. After about two weeks the mascara became a little dried out and didn't have the same affect. It also flakes a lot through the day. I was definitely a little disappointed. I have very thin lashes. This is the very first mascara that truly makes my lashes full & thick. Used in conjunction with the lash primer, my lashes look like I've got the artificial lashes put on. That thickness you always want with your own lashes, but don't usually get with just mascara. I also love that it's gluten free. Gluten free mascara that's good is very hard to find, especially one that's as great as this one! Would you buy this product again? Yes

This definitely makes my lashes longer and fuller when wearing it, but I haven't noticed a permanent difference, but since I'm not using it with the serum it's not unexpected. The mascara is darkest black, long-lasting and doesn't smudge. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the mascara flakes throughout the day; I've found that wearing a long-wear, lightweight mascara as a base under this one completely stops the flaking. My lashes are definitely softer, more nourished and I have much less fall out since using this product. Would you buy this product again? Yes

My mother, friend and I had a Tarte makeover at Ulta. All 3 of us instantly fell in LOVE with this mascara! It's the best mascara I have ever had. It made my skimpy little lashes look like I had long lush lashes. I never thought my lashes could stand out and look that great. Its never clumpy it lifts and seperates. I thought maybe the girl who did my makeover had a special technique on applying mascara to make my lashes pop out. No it was the mascara. Now I buy several at a time b/c I dont ever want to run out.
