This is a good mascara, but it does flake a smidge unless I use a mascara primer. Overall good product, but I probably wouldn't repurchase this just because I would like to try out other tarte mascaras. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I received this mascara in my birchbox. I had high expectations for this product, because juicystar07 raved about this product on her youtube channel. But I was disappointed, because the formula was flakey, dry, and had a grey-ish tone to it. Maybe I got a bad tube? Would you buy this product again? Yes

I use this with the primer and it works very well. My lashes are about 1/4 thicker and 1/3 longer. It does flake and smudge a tad. A good mascara but not for more than 6 hours.

I used this with the second step primer and it did wonders! I have yet to try it without the primer, but I think I will stick to just using this with primer because it exponentially increases the appearance of my lashes. I did not experience smudging or clumps. Removal was also a breeze (I use a remover geared towards waterproof makeup).
Please don't stop making this! Would you buy this product again? Yes

This stuff is fabulous! I applied it over the primer and it really made my lashes pop. No smudging, flaking, smearing- everything stayed completely put until I removed it. Best part of all- no clumping. I am buying two tubes of this to stash for the future. My new mascara of choice! Would you buy this product again? Yes

Okay so I used this once and rated it not to good and I promised I would rate again once I used this with the primer! I LOVE IT! THe lashes really do stand out! I cant stop looking at them! I only gave 4 stars because the product does seem to flake a bit and slightly clumps (but not as bad as when i didnt have the primer)! I havent really been able to test the waterproofness yet, though. If I can write another review about that I will. but I do recommend the product if you are looking for a natural mascara... as long as it is used with the primer! :)

I would not normally buy a waterproof mascara, but I received this as a free gift with purchase. Boy, am I glad I did! This isn't clumpy like the other waterproof brands I've tried. And I am impressed with how little of the product I have to use to get beautiful results. Thanks tarte! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I hate to say it, since I've been really happy with all of my other tarte purchases, but I'm not smitten with this mascara. Admittedly, I haven't used it with "step 1 & 2" of the collection and am considering doing so, though I'm not sure it'll improved the properties of this product. Firstly, the packaging does not scrape the excess product from the bristles when removing the wand, which makes it go on a little thicker than I would like. It definitely thickens the look of the lashes, but doesn't seem to lengthen :( I really wanted to try a waterproof mascara, since the regular mascara I currently have (Physician's Formula Natural) smears like crazy. Unfortunately, it is really hard to remove! Usually I use eye makeup remover, but this required working a gentle soap into a lather and thoroughly applying to my eyelashes. Of course, the residual mascara makes the next days' application all the more clumpy... such a bummer, since I really wanted to love it :( Would you buy this product again? Yes

My favorite mascara EVER!!! This makes my lashes so full! Ive been using this for almost a year now and let me tell you, it has really made a different in my eyelashes. They are more nourished, healthy, and ive noticed them being more full because they rarely fall out now. The mascara is a good deep black, and provides tons of volume. And its waterproof, although if you rub your eyes it will come off a little bit. Anyway, I looooove it and I would highly recommend! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I love this mascara...I use the tarte eyelash curler (which is amazing) and then apply this mascara and my lashes are very long and separated (very natural looking). I never knew my lashes could look this good therefore I have no desire to use another mascara again. I have tried the non-waterproof version of this mascara and didn't like it /c it doesn't hold a curl. I have noticed the waterproof version is no longer sold at QVC, Ulta, or Sephora. I really hope they don't stop making this in waterproof b/c it is the only mascara that I have found that will hold a curl. TARTE PLEASE DON'T STOP MAKING THIS MASCARA!!! this is great when it's brand new, but about a week after use, it starts clumping and does not go on as thick. i bought it twice and both tubes were the same: died pretty quickly. it's too expensive to dry up that fast. i noticed that when i put it on my lashes looked great, but then mid-day when i look in the mirror, it hardly looks like i have mascara on. it just doesn't stick on all day. also, i noticed that after i shower and wash my face, the mascara comes off in little clumps that seem to take forever to wipe them all away. kind of a hassle. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This mascara worked really well overall. It made my lashes pretty long and had good staying power. But after using it for around 2 months, the product would become drier and then it would start to flake more. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I found that this mascara flaked off quite a bit, clumped up after using it for just a week and was not very waterproof. I just bought the non-waterproof version to replace it this week and it's fantastic!! I won't bother with the "waterproof" again, but loved the idea of the lash enhancing properties so I am very thankful the normal version works wonderfully! Would you buy this product again? Yes

I hate to say this because I love all my other tarte cosmetics.
This mascara did not prove to be waterproof at all. I found that it was in clumps when it went on and pieces fell off immediately. Then, the mascara that did stay on when I applied it, ran under my eyes while I was exercising.
I really wanted it to work and so was so disappointed when it didn't. Would you buy this product again? Yes

i love it cause its waterproof and its easy too wash off . well it depends on what kind of make-up remover you have . i dont have this mascara but i used my friends one time and i applied it in the morning and it was pretty hot and it stayed like untill 21 pm . so im going to buy it too so should you.
