Wonderful array of neutral eye colors. Long lasting and stays on all day with a primer. Not a fan of the liner but my mom love it so no waste there. I have sensitive eyes, and tarte products works well for me. I have gotten rid of all my other make up and all I use now are tarte make up products. The included brush is simply awesome! Use it every single time I apply my shadows and they blend so easily. Highly recommend this palette.

This is a really great color palette for those looking for a more natural look. Thought it doesn't say in the description, this product also includes a really nice tutorial page that offers a couple really great looks, one with the lighter colors and one for a darker eye great for a night out. It's super easy to follow ESPECIALLY if you are a makeup-novice, like me.
The eyeliner really is amazing. I've used pencils before and they always smear and smudge to the point where I gave up on makeup entirely since I was tired of looking crazy at the end of the day. This aqua-gel stuff really does last, though, and looks great even after a twelve-hour shift in a hot kitchen in the middle of the desert. The primer is a great product as well and keeps my eye-shadow from creasing as well as keeps it in place and makes sure that I still look fierce at the end of the day..or night!

I love these shadows, you can create so many different looks for spring and for fall. The colors look great if you bland them with some pf the shades from the Eye Coutoure Palette as well! The primer is great, I don't love the gel liner though I prefer liquid liners. The only negative is that the zippers on the exterior of the case go on the spine and it flips close when you are using it.

This is a great palette, and it's a really good value. I am impressed at how un-chalky the matte colors are. They feel very luxe, and I actually use them, when that is normally the colors I avoid in palettes. If you have any doubts, just take the plunge and buy it. I really love the makeup brush that's included as well.

I bought this palete a few months ago when I was looking for a good go to neutral palete, it was very close to the NARS palete (the name escapes me) and the sales girl at Sephora told me to go with this one. Boy was I glad!! The pigmentation of these colors and their blendablity are just wonderful, I use this everyday whether I want a natural look or even a darker one - this is hands down one of my best makeup purchases!!!
**also as a sidenote, the brush it comes with is also AMAZING and so is the primer and gel liner

I agree with the reviewer above who wished Tarte would make a kit with all matte colors, I would buy it immediately, and I really can't wait for the refills for this! Please, please sell the first three colors on the left side individually as refills, I use them constantly!

This palette is by far one the widest range of the darkest to lightest colors, similar to the day to night palette. wonderful pigmentation and lasts me all day. I find all tarte eye shadows super blend-able with excellent lasting power. (i have normal skin)

This palette is wonderful for day or night looks. I have been using urban decay primer potion because I have a huge tube that I need to use up before I switch and these, just like all of my tarte shadows, last throughout the day with ease. I have never had to reapply my makeup after my first application. The brush that all of the palettes come with is actually pretty amazing. I usually hate the brushes that most palettes come with (ex. urban decay sustainable palette), but the brush glides along the skin with no pull and has exceptional product placement. :)

Just bought this and the Femme Naturale palette and I love this one the most. The other is good, but the colors in this are perfect! I am addicted to the brown shade in this as an eyeliner. I have not used the eyeliner that is included, not a fan of the Aqua-Gel formula for everyday, but as with other palettes that came with eyeliners, I'll put it in my stage makeup bag. For everyday, I prefer using Tarte's dark eyeshadows as liner as they are beautiful, silky and pigment rich. I just wet a liner brush for a precise line or use it dry for a smudged look. The dark colors in this are gorgeous for liners and fortunately not repeated in my other eye palettes from Tarte! I can't say anything bad about the palette itself and the bonus extras are great. I am inching toward the age of wrinkles (eek!) and I LOVE lifted, so getting a mini is a huge bonus!

Love this palette. I think it is nice that it is mostly matte with a few shimmer shadows. I would not have bought it if it were all matte. I think unless you are going to European disco tech than you need a mix of both. I would have preferred half and half, but I do like all the shadows in this kit which is very rare. I expect mattes to be chalky and to be difficult to apply. These are nothing like that, they apply smoothly. I really love all the colors, but my favorites are the matte plum, peach shimmer, matte pink, matte bone, matte taupe (I think), and matte khaki green. I like that there is a dark matte brown to use as a liner, when the included liner runs out. I love the matte navy as a liner. The bronze shimmer is a color I love for the summer as a liner. The matte teal is a color I did not expect to love. Teal always looks strange with my green eyes. This teal is dark enough that I actually find myself reaching for it as a liner often. I am fair, Agent 00, so I like the lighter colors with the medium to light shades in my crease with the darker shades as liners. It works for me. This is a kit that everyone could use. When you think of colors that are neutral to match fashion, this kit has everything but black. If you like to match your fashion with your eyes, you need this palette.

I love Tarte shadows...the matte ones. This kit has some lovely shades with a brush that makes application a breeze. The eyeshadow base is the best I've ever used and I appreciate the cool toned shade. I hope Tarte will offer the base and shadow refills soon.

My big beg is for Tarte to make a shadow kit with all mattes and large pans of the light neutral shades, since many of us use them to cover the whole lid.

I can't get enough Tarte eye products.

These colors are very pretty. I love the matte finish. The eyeliner is very creamy and can break easily, so make sure that you don't twist a lot of it out. I also enjoyed the firmatol primer. This really kept the eyeshadow in place and it did not make the eyeshadow crease.

This is a beautiful palette! The colors are great, and the darker tones are highly pigmented - a little goes a long way. I love that you can replace various colors because of the magnetic pans. The brush is high quality. And the eyeliner is one of my favorites. Plus, it's all packaged in a pretty case!

This is my everyday go-to palette! This is my second tarte palette and I am absolutely in love with it! The fact that it includes a brush, eyeliner, and deluxe primer is so great; everything you need in one cute package!! I can see this palette also used for a nice night look as well. The color payoff with the shadows is amazing, you really only need just a touch for a big pop of color. I watched a lot of the tarte demos and love the 'pat' technique too! The aquagel eyeliner goes on so smooth and I realized quickly that you don't need much. It was cool to my eyelid when I applied it and the dark brown color is amazing!! tarte not only has great products but beautiful packaging that makes it so easy to travel with! Everyone should get this palette, it's a keeper!!

I'm always a little skeptical about purchasing makeup without trying it first, but I took the plunge, and I'm glad I did! I really love this collection of eyeshadows, and find that I reach for it everyday! The colors are truly neutral, and blend well. The darker colors are beautiful and help give a more dramatic look to the eye. I plan to purchase a full size of the eye primer, because it definately helps keep my eyeshadow fresh throughout the day. I don't always wear eyeliner, but the aqua gel liner which comes in the eyeshadow compact is great! Goes on easily and STAYS on! Great purchase!

Love this palette. The colors are smooth, easy to blend, and all around great.

But here's the thing; this is my third Tarte palette, and unfortunately, they all arrive broken in the mail! I've had to return one already, and the two that arrived earlier this week were broken as well. I think they just need to use more bubble wrap, or smaller boxes to ship things in. It's a little disappointing, because even when returning a palette, and then getting a new one, it was still broken. I'd appreciate a new pan of the shadow since it is almost all gone because it turned to dust, at least. I do like to buy things directly from the Tarte site, but it might be more worth my while to visit a store that carries it next time because it's so disappointing to receive a broken eyeshadow time and time again.

I adore this palette. It comes with 10 colors: matte bone, matte taupe, matte olive green, shimmering bronze, matte deep teal, matte soft pink, shimmering soft peach, matte brown, matte plum, and matte navy. All of them are highly pigmented and gorgeous colors; the photo on this site does not do them adequate justice. As you can tell from the color names, most of these shades are matte, and the ones which are shiny have very delicate particles of shine. They are easy to blend and layer for a natural, sophisticated look. This palette comes with two make up look instructions, one for a night look and one for a day look. They have easy to follow instructions (for those new to applying shadow) and although there are only two, the same instructions can be applied to any colors you choose and still give amazing results.

The size of the shadows is great; they are as large as the tarte shadows sold separately for $14, and the tins are pretty deep. These would definitely last at least a year, even with everyday application. This set is a great value.

The packaging is very cute and high quality. Maybe it's just me, but I go crazy for great packaging; it makes the whole product seem more luxe and makes putting on make up that much more enjoyable. The palette comes with a very big mirror, making this great for on the go application. A strong magnet holds it shut, making it unlikely that the shadow will get on anything in a bag or a purse.

The brush it comes with is so soft and is great at picking up the shadows. It makes for a great first eye shadow brush. I recommend using the larger side for allover color, and the smaller side for applying color to the crease. This shadow doesn't have a lot of fall out, and fallout can be avoided altogether by tapping rather than sweeping shadow across the eyelid.

I haven't worn the emphasEYES aqua gel liner yet, but I did a swatch on my hand, and it is very pigmented and doesn't smear easily. The primer is also good, it definitely keeps the shadow in place all day.

All in all, this is a wonderful palette and I would recommend it to anyone. My teal shadow got a little cracked in the mail. :( But other than that, perfect!

Love the colors. Perfect for a pale browneyed redhead such as myself. I think the eye primer is one of my new faves. I have really oily eyelids, even the pure amazonian clay couldn't keep my eye colors from migrating. This did. My eyeshadows stayed on all day and the colors stayed true. I can't believe the creaminess of the eyeliner. absolutely no tugging and no irritation! I have never found a bad Tarte product.

Overall the palette is great with shades that I use most of the time. I've found the shades easy to blend. Tarte's palettes are the only ones I travel with. I'm allergic to aloe so the primer goes to a friend who says its the best.

I love this product. Aside from the great shades, the brush is awesome, the primer is really nice (I've never used eye primer before, but I think I will keep it up!), and the eyeliner is FANTASTIC!!! I'm not very good at applying eyeliner, but it's easy to do with this one. I was worried that I wouldn't like the brown eyeliner since I have always used black. But this is a very dark brown that complements my dark brown eyes perfectly. It doesn't even look brown - it just looks "natural," which I think perfectly sums up this entire product. This product helps you have fun enhancing your natural beauty. Another major plus: I ordered on a Monday night, and it arrived on a Wednesday before 5pm.

The only negative (if this is even a negative) is that the eyeshadow isn't as saturated in color as I had anticipated based on watching a youtube video. But - maybe that's a good thing because too dark of a color wouldn't look as natural. I love the way it looks on, so I think the product is great the way it is.

Kudos Tarte for making a pallette with every color I need and use. I keep the Jewel Box at home and take this with me when I travel. Once I learned the technique for applying mineral color, I was hooked. My eyes look brighter and less "made up" during the day, yet I can layer for a more dramatic evening look. The pearlized and slightly metallic colors do not scream "club"..they add a bit of punch if you want to amp up your look, or add a bit of warmth. I use the lighter colors in the inner and outer corner of my eye to open them up and brighten the natural shadows.

I'm a cognac eyed, redhead with a warm, golden complexion. I can't tell you how many compliments I've received once I switched. Not "ooh, I love your makeup" but more of "you look amazing and different but I can't tell why". My eyes look rested and truly "pop". Depending on which effect I want, I can even use the darker shades as a liner using a slanted brush..even applying it wet and then going over it with either the same color dry, or the colors (bronze/olive) in the set's pencil.

I'm also highly allergic to many cosmetics, especially eye makeup. All it takes is five minutes and my eyes look like something a special effects artist would create for an apolcalyptic horror flick. I personally have not experienced a reaction. The pallette alone would be worth the price, but together with a perfect makeup brush for applying shadow (one side) and contouring/shading on the other, and a genious, two sided eye pencil that enhances my eye and is easy to apply, I feel like I've hit the motherlode. I can't vouch that this set will be perfect for you, but if you are looking for an eyemakeup pallette that offers colors that almost anyone can use..chicas..this is IT!

Love this Tarte palette! Light to medium pigments, all easily blended. The aqua gel liner is easy to use and one of the best liners ever IMO:). The primer is wonderful with all shadows and it is a great size for traveling. Hope you buy it and enjoy it!

This is a great palette. The matte colors work well. I have the Femme Naturale palette as well so I can play with both together. It has two shinny shades which are very pretty - a pink and a bronze. When I watched the video Tarte's staff made on this palette she said there was only one - so that wasn't true. I noticed that with any of the Tarte eye shadows if you blend much at all the colors all become one color on my eyelid. It takes a little practice with them blending so the true color shows. The lightest colors (on the left hand side) seem a bit chalky or powdery rather. I noticed that with the light matte shade in the Femme Naturale palette too. Overall a great palette though.
As for packaging - I have to say the Femme Natuale Pallet was much easier to flop open and keep open (after I took the flower applique off and made a bracelet out of it.) The colors are nice on the container but the zippers go onto the spine and make it too stiff to keep the palette open hands free. That's part of the reason for only 4 stars.
I love the Aqua-Gel eyeliner. It's my first one. It's so smooth, cool feeling and there is still time to smudge before it dries. It breaks easy though so twist the product up a tiny bit at a time. The brown color goes really well with the shades in this palette.
