Love these and you can't beat the price of the set! These colors are very neutral. I love the way the purple brightens my brown eyes.

LOVE is the only word to describe smolderEYES! These are the perfect eyeliners! I have them in multiple shades and this duo is simply gorgeous! Espresso is the perfect smokey dark brown (glitter free) and Violet is a beautiful black-based dark purple (some glitters). Excellent color saturation and the eyeliners stay on smudge-free all day until I'm ready to take them off with an eye makeup remover.

I like the SmolderEyes and left an extensive review under the singles. I purchased these during the F&F sale because getting a duo plus 30% was a no brainer. I already had these colors from a previous QVC A-D TSV and had tried the Charcoal but didn't get around to trying the Brown from the A-D set so I assumed I would like the Brown as much as all the others but for some reason the Brown doesn't seem to work as well as a shadow as the other colors because it doesn't blend evenly but it works perfectly as a liner. This is Tarte's best product in their entire line as far as I'm concerned because the product is bulletproof (which most vendors claim and is absoutely not true) and there is a nice selection of colors.
The singles are quite expensive so you should take advantage of the special edition sets even if you don't like every color.

Tarte can you do special trios throughout the year as I would surely buy multiples as the price of the singles is too expensive to buy many products but this duo was cost-effective during the F&F 30% off sale. Thank you.

Great neutral colors for every day and smoky eye. I use them on my waterline and smudge them out, or use them on just my upper lash line and smooth with a pointed MAC liner brush. I love the smudgey end on the liner as well, for a less formal look. Great by itself with some mascara or layered ontop of eye shadow. I will definitely be purchasing many more of these in the future, can't wait to try more colors!

Eye-mazing!!! This is by far the best eye liner I've ever used. It is the perfect size and width for an eyeliner and I often use it as my shadow as well.
Even though I use it every day, I also love to travel with it; it doesn't "melt" in the heat and humidity or "crack" on the face due to the cold tempatures either.
I love the saturation of color--just right to make a statement, but not too much for every-day wear. The pressure I place on the pencil and the width I decide to go with it makes for completely different looks with just one fabulous product. It is easy to throw in my purse and "touch-up" for evening after a long day (but truthfully I rarely need to as it still holds in both color and placement on the eyes.) Love, love, love!!!

Love these liners! They go on quickly and smoothly, and you have total control over how thick or thin you want to line your eyes. A quick smudge is perfect for a night out as long as you do it before it sets. Totally flattering, and they don't bother my sensitive eyes.

I am 61 yrs. old. I thought it was the end of the line to have great eyes again until this product came along, my eyes look like they did when I was years younger. I can finally say that "the eyes have it"! I have always worn eye makeup since I was sixteen so I know alot about makeup. Trust me when I say I highly recommend this product at any age. AND, I get compliments saying that I have beautiful eyes. (if only they could see me without Tarte products). BUY IT...you won't regret it.!!

I like the chubby pencils because it's easier for me to hold, the texture is great, and it really stays on all day...sometimes into the next day after trying to take it off at night with an eye make up remover.

Non-glittery alternative to the smolder eyes line. I bought these, because I had purchased the smolder eyes value set and hated the glittery-ness, but loved the texture and staying power of the liners. I was hoping that these would be less glittery and they are. I'm not sure if Tarte has recently changed the product, but the liners I received, have "emphasEYES" printed on them and underneath, it says "Smoldering Eye Liner" and they are not glittery or shimmery. I love them.
I usually sharpen them and apply just the tiniest amount on my upper lash line then smudge into the lash line to help my lashes look thicker without wearing mascara. It looks natural and pretty.

The best, most carefree, non-tugging, long lasting eyeliner I have ever used. I usually buy Chanel but it does tug a bit. I was looking for a natural product and was expecting to compromise for the sake of being healthy & green, however, Tarte has far exceeded my expectations. I usually skip makeup. I know I look better with it but it's so time consuming. Tarte eyeshadows glide on perfect & their eyeliner is the best (does not tug & takes 5 seconds). I will never use anything else. I have so many of these eyeliners, and I keep buying more colors. These stay on my eyes, which are hooded, better than most eyeliners I have purchased. I really like the chubby pencils. If I want a thinner line, I either use a brush with the pencil, or I just sharpen the pencil. I bought two sets of these. These colors are great. The charcoal is a true charcoal. It looked way lighter on my computer, more like a gray, but it is truly a charcoal color. The brown is a cool dark brown. Thankfully, neither of these colors have glitter in them! Tarte, please offer more of your colors without the glitter, and also more pairs or sets because of the cost savings.

I have been really wanting to try this product. You can wear it as a shadow or liner. I love it as a liner. These colors brown & charcoal are too dark for me to wear as a shadow. I lined my eyes top & bottom & it looked fabulous! It stayed on all day & I was cooking in the kitchen all afternoon & sweating, no problem! Every time I went into the bathroom I looked in the mirror to see if it was still on. It stayed on until I took it off! If you plan to use the smudger you need to work quick. These liners dry quickly. You can test it on your hand to see. I have oily skin & lids & am 55 years young & I LOVE THESE!
