I am 61 yrs. old. I thought it was the end of the line to have great eyes again until this product came along, my eyes look like they did when I was years younger. I can finally say that "the eyes have it"! I have always worn eye makeup since I was sixteen so I know alot about makeup. Trust me when I say I highly recommend this product at any age. AND, I get compliments saying that I have beautiful eyes. (if only they could see me without Tarte products). BUY IT...you won't regret it.!!

I like the chubby pencils because it's easier for me to hold, the texture is great, and it really stays on all day...sometimes into the next day after trying to take it off at night with an eye make up remover.

Non-glittery alternative to the smolder eyes line. I bought these, because I had purchased the smolder eyes value set and hated the glittery-ness, but loved the texture and staying power of the liners. I was hoping that these would be less glittery and they are. I'm not sure if Tarte has recently changed the product, but the liners I received, have "emphasEYES" printed on them and underneath, it says "Smoldering Eye Liner" and they are not glittery or shimmery. I love them. I usually sharpen them and apply just the tiniest amount on my upper lash line then smudge into the lash line to help my lashes look thicker without wearing mascara. It looks natural and pretty.
The best, most carefree, non-tugging, long lasting eyeliner I have ever used. I usually buy Chanel but it does tug a bit. I was looking for a natural product and was expecting to compromise for the sake of being healthy & green, however, Tarte has far exceeded my expectations. I usually skip makeup. I know I look better with it but it's so time consuming. Tarte eyeshadows glide on perfect & their eyeliner is the best (does not tug & takes 5 seconds). I will never use anything else. I have so many of these eyeliners, and I keep buying more colors. These stay on my eyes, which are hooded, better than most eyeliners I have purchased. I really like the chubby pencils. If I want a thinner line, I either use a brush with the pencil, or I just sharpen the pencil. I bought two sets of these. These colors are great. The charcoal is a true charcoal. It looked way lighter on my computer, more like a gray, but it is truly a charcoal color. The brown is a cool dark brown. Thankfully, neither of these colors have glitter in them! Tarte, please offer more of your colors without the glitter, and also more pairs or sets because of the cost savings.
I have been really wanting to try this product. You can wear it as a shadow or liner. I love it as a liner. These colors brown & charcoal are too dark for me to wear as a shadow. I lined my eyes top & bottom & it looked fabulous! It stayed on all day & I was cooking in the kitchen all afternoon & sweating, no problem! Every time I went into the bathroom I looked in the mirror to see if it was still on. It stayed on until I took it off! If you plan to use the smudger you need to work quick. These liners dry quickly. You can test it on your hand to see. I have oily skin & lids & am 55 years young & I LOVE THESE!
