I love Smooth Operator! This gives beautiful sheer coverage, is super long wearing and stays on all day, and even holds up against my oily skin! I've tried several tinted moisturizers, and this is more of a tinted moisturizer and foundation all in one, which I love! I wear this in shade "Agent 02/Facade" and its a perfect match for my fair, neutral undertone skin! I'm very happy with this! This was the first Tarte product I ever tried a few years ago, and turned me into a Tarte fan for life!

This is definitely amongst one of the best foundations I have ever tried. I have gone through a lot of big brands but it provides so much coverage for the cost! a great buy definitely!

im really liking this product it stays on for quite a while even in a lot of heat and it is great for dry skin, i can actually skip my regular moisturizer with this product. the pigmentation is quite close to a foundation and it is buildable so it covers some flaws you might have on your face. im running out so im definitely going to buy some more soon!

Even though this is a tinted moisturizer I still wear it on top of my regular Acne Moisturizer from Clinique as I have a lot of scars and am acne-prone; with that in mind it never feels heavy on my face and I LOVE that theres SPF! It really covers the scars and under eye area well and doesn't clog my pores! Unlike a previous reviewer I do NOT find that it darkens throughout the day. It's really helpful to know which exact shade you are as you can always go on Facebook to ask the Tarte staff on compatibility with other items so please seek your local Tarte retailer! My friend Cynthia is slightly darker than I am and its formula is so interesting that it can still match her! It's an absolute staple!

This is a nice, lightweight tinted moisturizer that feels great on the skin! Light- medium coverage and I love that the sunscreen used is Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, both rated as safe sunscreens by the Environmental Working Group. This is a great tinted moisturizer and I have tried many!

Just the right amount of coverage to be better than bare but not look "made up". Especially good in warmer weather when you don't want too many powdered layers.

For a girl with acne scars and frequent breakouts, this stuff works really well to even out skin tone. After primer, I spread a THIN layer of Smooth Operator on with my fingers, cover my spots with a little 4-in-1 eraser concealer, and set the spots with a dab more Smooth Operator with my ring finger and sweep a light dusting of provocateur powder over my oily areas. It stays on ALL DAY! In fact it stays on so well that I need to really wash my face to get it all off, but the great thing is it's never broken me out whenever I've ever slept in it!

My one caveat for a buyer is that it goes on fairly light but darkens over the day (or it may be the provocateur powder, but unfortunately I've never worn the powder alone to find this out). I wear Agent 10 because of this fact, but my natural skin tone is closer to a 12. SPF 20 is great for me. Lastly, my friend asked if I was wearing any makeup when I had it on, and she knows I always wear foundation. That's how natural it looked! Great product, Tarte!

Goes on like a tinted moisturizer but covers like a light foundation. Best of both worlds. This has replaced my HG foundation. Love how natural the ingredients are too, and that it feels like I'm not wearing a foundation. And that Tarte actually makes very pale shades for those of us with ghostly skin (Agent 00 is a perfect match)

This a great lighter coverage foundation. It just also happens to moisturize. Usually a tinted moisturizer implies sheer if any coverage at all. I was glad to see this was more of a lighter coverage foundation. It goes on smooth and your skin feels smooth as well. Love it, and the color selection.

Awesome tinted moisturizer- perfect for people who need to even out skin tone a little, but don't want the weight of a foundation. I find that this provides the perfect amount of coverage. SPF 20 isn't quite enough for me, but I pair it with a very light weight sunblock and I'm good to go.
