Apply the day end color (shimmering champagne sheen) to the outer corner of the eyes and under the brow to open and brighten eyes. Apply the night end color (shimmering pink sheen) to the inner corners of the eyes to make them pop.

The shadows work for pretty much anyone. The shadow really did make my eyes look much brighter. The downside was that it seemed to wipe off easily if you rub. My champagne shade seemed to run out faster and the pink seemed to have a smoother consistency. I absolutely love how the shadow makes my whole face wake up. I will definitely buy this again!

I purchased this as part of a set when it was first introduced so I didn't use it right away.WHAT A MISTAKE AS THIS BRIGHTENER IS WONDERFUL! Especially as the last few years have added some dark circles around the inside corners of my eyes. It's also been great for the eyebrow area. Just the right hint if "light" w/o being glittery or goofy. Tarte hasn't let me down :)

I work 16 hr days several times a week and this makes my eyes look awake and bright, even when I'm working overnight shifts or under stress (I'm in the emergency services field so there's no shortage of either!). I have sensitive skin/eyes and this does not irritate either.

I really want to experience the brightening results other reviewers describe with this product, but neither end is a flattering eyelighter on me. There doesn't seem to be much product at all: I redip several times into the caps (containing the product) and very little transfers to the applicator. I preferred the Rest Assured, a liquid eyelighter (discontinued) applied using a wand. I have reverted to using the lightest shimmer highlight shades in the various tarte eye shadow palettes instead and rarely reach for this.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I was actually looking for the eye bright but picked this up by mistake. its good as an inner corner brightener during a night out as i feel its too shimmery thus overdone for day time.

Like it even more than I thought I would. The pencil end seems to clarify my eye and the shiny liquid is not to shiny or obvious and great below the brow of in the inner area of the eye. Works well but subtly
