This is a great value! All the shadows are very pigmented and easily blendable. They can be used for a variety of looks, from natural to smoky. The little deluxe samples are great too because they do last a while and are a great way to try out new products without having to purchase each full-sized product separately. Plus, the price is great and the box is sturdy and classy.

I love this palette! The selection of colors is so wonderful! I primarily bought this palette for the shadows, but the samples are great size too. I think they'll be really handy for travel. I also really like the packaging - it's cute without being too big to stash in a bag if needed.

SUCH A GREAT DEAL FOR THE PRICE. Bought this for the shadows and figured the other products were great freebies. I'm still in love with the shadows, as usual - easy to apply and blend - although there were several that were a bit chalky. BUT! The gloss that came with this set is turning out to be a staple in my daily routine. :)

I got this for myself for Christmas 2011. The deluxe samples are awesome, I use the full sizes, though I'm likely to use these for travel or to give as gifts. I love the shadows, the golds and copper colors are really gorgeous. I really got this palette because I had great plans for the drawer. I removed the tray and I can now store all 7 of my emphasEYES pot liner/shadows, tarte brow mousse pot and all 8 aqua-gel eyeliners in the drawer. I'm a sucker for a handy cubby. I love it!

This was my first Tarte purchase and it was ok. I heavily use the bottom 2 rows of this palette but I'm not a fan of the lighter colors. I wish this palette had black but the navy kind of makes up for it. The primer doesn't do anything for my oily skin but I did like the gloss and mascara.

I absolutely LOVE this collection! I received it in the mail a few weeks ago and have not stopped using it! I was surprised with the sizes of the eyeshadows; they were a lot bigger than I thought they'd be! Definately a bargain! There's a nice variety of matte and shimmer shades to choose from which is also really nice. Plus, you receive the small samples of other top selling tarte products. This collection is a win win! :)

I saw this set and got it right away! Such an amazing value. It would much more awesome if they include a full size lip gloss instead of sample, but at $43 + 30% off, it's a steal!

Now...if only Tarte have a sale on the true blood palette....$52 is a little steep without discount

Anyways, I know this only shipped today but my aunt got a set from Ulta and the colors were gorgeous! Mostly neutrals, but the blue, green, gold, silver, and purple are just the thing to turn day neutral into party night LOL. I think I will use the silver as a Christmas look this year. Great job on the color selection.

The ruffle packaging is cute, but so bulky. I will have to depot it and put it into a mac pro palette. Maybe I'll use the ruffle top as decoration to my room. Recycle and reuse!

In love with this set! The eye colors are so easy to use and great for weddings. I use this set on myself to parties and weddings. I can even wear a natural look using the matte shadows because it is so versatile. Great high and low lighting shades! Skin primer is so good, creates smooth surface to apply makeup. I wear the lip gloss in day time, smells wonderful! I only wear mascara for work or for event, not everyday user, so this mascara is perfect size to last me for 2 months, since I will toss for new one and don't feel bad I'm wasting product.

I received this as a Christmas gift, and it was kind of a disappointment. Many of the matte shadows are NOT pretty colors, and I cannot work with them, as I cannot blend them very well. This may just be me, because I find it nearly impossible to blend any eyeshadows. On the bright side, the shimmers are gorgeous, and the packaging is too! I LOVE how they included deluxe samples...I'm a sucker for them.

Overall, I would buy again, because I'm sure I could find a way to work with everything in the kit.

I got this and absolutely LOVE it! It's got so many great shades both shimmery and matte. You can mix and match them to your desired color and they go on super smooth. They're extremely pigmented and well worth the money. The lash primer and mascara together give you the picture perfect plump lash line. The face primer is great for those glam nights and it helps your make up go on so much smoother. The lip gloss is a nice light sparkly touch to finish off any look you put together for your eyes with this palette. If you're thinking about getting this, DO IT! You wont regret it!

This is my very first Tarte product purchase, and will definitely not be my last. I'm sold on Tarte, and I love the samples of the amazing lip gloss in here, and I am definitely loving this mascara and am very excited to get a full size mascara from Tarte. I really do love this eye shadow palette, the colors are really beautiful, but they've been kinda bumming me out a bit because of how sheer they apply - the colors are really not pigmented or strong, and there's been so much fall out. I was especially sold on this palette because of the bright purple in the top right and the teal color in the bottom row. Both show up extremely sheer when applied dry. I finally just realized that if I want to have the level of vibrancy and pigmentation that I desire, I will have to apply the eyeshadow with my eyeshadow brush wet with water.. Finally with a wet brush, the colors really pop with strong pigmentation. I do really love the colors; I just wish there was a much stronger pigmentation and for colors I wish Tarte would draw some inspiration from UD BOS3 - however, I absolutely love the non-toxicity of this product!

I like this set with the exception of a about 3 or 4 of the shimmery colors. The ones I don't like have a lot of glitter fall out with not very much color pay off and are hard to blend (even with primer). I'm a little sad because those are the colors that drew me to this palette. The rest of the shadows are Tarte quality. Some may take a few layers to look good like Tarte shadows sometimes do but I don't entirely mind so long as I can get them to look good. I like the neutral grays but I feel like some of them look just like each other once applied to the eye area. The bonuses are a nice addition to have but I have had problems with the lip gloss stopper coming out of the tube and also the wand on the primer is difficult to work with. I do love the mascara and the primer which have both lasted me a long time considering their size. I'm not as thrilled with this set as I thought I would be but its good enough to keep.

this is a lovely palette. the eyeshadow colors are beautiful and flattering on anyone, and i especially like that there's a mix of both shimmery and matte colors. the matte colors are smooth and brighten my eye, and the shimmery colors are not sparkly or glittery at all, thankfully.

you get so much product for the price, so it's well worth it in my opinion.

I was super excited when I ordered this, and when it showed up I opened it and was even more thrilled with it in person. The colors of the eyeshadows are absolutely beautiful, well pigmented, and very true to what you see in the palette. I love that there is an even distribution of matte and shimmery colors. Truly wonderful, especially for the holidays

Just as an eyeshadow palette alone this would have been a worthwhile purchase, but Tarte goes one further and includes a face primer, mascara primer, mascara, and a beautiful coral-ish golden lip gloss. This is a wonderful gift for any beauty enthusiast an/or Tarte cosmetics fan (even if the gift is for yourself)

i love this palette!!!! i like the eye shadow colors in it a lot more than the other palette's i love the eye lash primer too. i just ordered the full size. i also love the lights camera lashes. its the only mascara i use. and the lip gloss is awesome too! you can't go wrong with this one!! love it~

I just received it in the mail and man I'm so impressed! These shadows look better in person. And the pigmentation is really nice, although a base might be needed in order to bring some colors out. So far I haven't seen any excessive fallout and I love the fact that the shadows are glued in.

I started using tarte lipstain/gloss duo not to long ago because it smelled amazing and worked really well. Ever since then I have slowly been switching all of my products to tarte. I bought this collection because it was an amazing value for the price and I hadn't tried their eye products yet. I am quite pleased as I have been with all of their cosmetics. The shadows are amazing and the mascara duo is even better. I will definitely be buying all of my eye products from tarte from now on =)

I just bought this set today. I literally stood in Ulta for hours debating between this collection and a competing collection. I decided to go with Tarte. I have never tried their products before. But I swatched every color and blended the colors. I was impressed with the swatches and the easy blending.

After I came home I then grabbed my makeup brushes. Washed my face and applied eyeshadow primer. I opened up the box. It was very cute packaging. I have to hold the flap open to access the eyeshadows. I noticed some of the shadows were loose. Probably from shipping and handling. I was very worried that the tops of some of the eyeshadows were broken loose.

I immediately started playing with this palette. Now after I dipped my brushes into the eyeshadows. I noticed immediately that the eyeshadow had a bit of fallout once I applied to my eye. I then noticed how even a dab or two into the eyeshadow made it go down a bit. Something I was not impressed by.

I have a mixed feeling overall over this collection. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. The eyeshadows were better swatched on my hand with my finger tip then with a actual makeup brush on my eye lids. If that makes sense? The colors are gorgeous. I will give it that.

I didn't try the face primer. I did try the mascara primer and mascara. They were impressive. The lipgloss was beautiful but the lipgloss tube has a huge defect because the part in the lipgloss tube that squeezes excess gloss off the applicator tip came off and I had a huge mess of lipgloss to clean up. And it isn't fixable. I tried. I ended up losing more lipgloss than actual applying to my lips.

Overall I wish the eyeshadows worked more for me. I give it a 2! -Sorry Tarte not sure if I will ever buy again.

love, love,love...sooooo worth it! i work at ulta and i was going on a little shopping spree, getting alot for tarte of course... :) i was planning on getting one of the other palettes... i liked the natural one, but we got this in and i decided to try it. i was hesitant because i thought it was gonna be a bunch of tiny shadows. but when i got it home i saw that they were full sized...plus i got a face primer to try, an eyelash primer, a mascara sample, and the lipgloss. plus the packaging is sooo cute...i have to hide this little treasure from my mom and sister (but i am considering getting one for them so x-mas since i do love it sooo much) get it!

The eye shadows are amazingly pigmented and have amazing staying power. I have very sensitive skin and it's the first time my eyes didn't feel a little irritated by the end of the day. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and the shadows are of SUCH great quality. I like the little drawer with other sample-sized products. The lip gloss conditions and moisturizes my lips better than the best of chap sticks I've ever found (not to mention that it's an adorable, cute and subtle color) and the mascara is just plain amazing! Best mascara I've ever tried, hands down!! I'd recommend this as a starting purchase for anyone!
