I got this as my free item with my birthday order! Thanks, Tarte!! If I had been given a choice, I probably would have picked the plum color, but I received the Nirvana red color. When I opened the box and saw the bright red tube, I though noooo way will I like this, it is tooo bright. However, it is rather sheer when applied and actually a lovely color. I love the smell of it, and it really made my lips feel very nice for quite some time. I was more than pleasantly surprised! However, as some others have said, I do wish the applicator was a wand instead of a "paintbrush". Would you buy this product again? Yes

Nice lip gloss. I really liked the shimmery neutral color that would look good on anyone. I think I got this free with an order and I'm really glad I did. My biggest dislike about this is the applicator. The brush is fine it's just that each time you remove the wand to apply it a little lip gloss escaped on the wand. And each time you close it, the pressure pushes more lip gloss out into the cap. So eventually you end up with a ton of product in the threads of the cap and seeping out. Now every time I use it I just run my fingertip across the threads to get the excess gloss. But I still like using it because I like the way it looks on my face. I look forward to trying tartes new glosses with with squeeze applicators to avoid the mess :) Would you buy this product again? Yes

I would probably give this 5 stars if it weren't for the scent.. The gloss itself has nice color payoff, shimmer and shine. It isn't too sticky, but it's tacky enough to last for a while. I also like the brush applicator and packaging in general. My only issue with these is the smell, it isn't too terrible, but it also isn't pleasant. I have two shades and have this issue with both. I don't notice it after it's been on for 30 seconds or so though. So it's bearable. However, I can't say that I'm sad that these are being discontinued. I much prefer Tarte's Pure Optic glosses and I just ordered one of the new Maracuja glosses, which I'm sure I will love, since they are mint-scented. Not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I have the liquid sunshine lip gloss ( I got it free from tarte for my birthday month). The color is a beautiful neutral that will look good on any skin tone but especially on tan or darker tones. It is a sheer wash of color and is filled with fine shimmer so it is not grainy at all. It is also sticky enough to stay on the lips but not overly tacky. It also has a wonderful very light citrus/fresh taste when it is first put on but is definitely not overpowering. Would you buy this product again? Yes

These glosses are less sticky than your average gloss, but the staying power is about average. Because these are shimmery, the shimmer tends to linger longer than the color.
I got liquid sunshine for my birthday and love it. I had been searching a long time to find a replacement for a discontinued lipgloss from another brand that I loved. It was metallic, mauve-nude, and this is the closest I have come to replicating it, though tarte's is more sheer and has a pretty iridescence to it. Liquid sunshine looks nothing like the picture on the website---at least on my computer. It is not a straight-up nude; there is definitely a mauve tinge to it. Looks awesome with a smoky eye.
I am hoping that tarte doesn't discontinue these, though since they are on sale right now, I have the feeling they are on their way out. :( I will be trying 40 winks next. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I bought r&r on a whim. I really love the color. It looks nice on my light caramel skin and gives my lips a pop of color. My only problem with the product is the brush. It deposits too much of the gloss and makes it harder to blend the color evenly. I found some small flat brushes from EcoTools that do a much better job. But other than that, it;s great. It makes my lips nice and smooth afterwards. I'm planning on trying the other colors now. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I was given the Liquid Sunshine for my Birthday and i love the color. Even though it's a nude color it has a beautiful shimmer too it that enhances the natural look and of course it's a gloss so there is sheen to it. After a while of wearing it it can get a bit sticky, in case you need to kiss some one i would suggest licking your lips so that the lip gloss doesn't stick to them lol. I'm allergic to chemicals so i usually break out to makeup, that's why i wear organic or all natural makeup. I haven't worn this gloss enough to know if it makes people with acne prone skin to break out around the lips. I hope that this will not make my lips break out, that's why i give this a 4 out of 5. I got this for free as a birthday gift, and I must say, I'm really impressed! I have the color, "liquid sunshine," and it is a pretty bronze color. I know the description says "nude," but to me it's more of a shimmery bronze. I just wish that the brush was a doe foot applicator, and not a brush, because the brush tends to pick up too much product sometimes, so I have to scrape off the excess gloss on the side of the tube before applying. I also think it's a bit pricey, but I guess it comes in a pretty big tube, so it may be worth it. When I run out of this, I'll consider trying it in "40 winks." That color looks gorgeous too. My only complaint is that all of the colors are very sparkly - almost glittery - except r&r which just has a nice amount of shimmer. This is my third time writing a review for this product. I have had my tubes of liquid sunshine and 40 winks for about 7 months now and have stopped using them. The brush applicator has made me not really want to use the lip gloss even though I like the lip gloss. I find that the brush applicator makes the tube of lip gloss very messy. Since the brush is slim it allows too much lip gloss to come out of the tube and then too much lip gloss ends up on my lips and all over the applicator wand and it just becomes very messy over time. The other thing I have noticed bother me is that I find the lip gloss has too much glitter that it tends to get all over my face. I wrote before that I did not have this problem, but when too much lip gloss comes out of the tube too much glitter also comes with it and once again it is messy. I hope Tarte would make these glosses with less glitter and come up with a solution to the brush applicator problem. Until the brush applicator is changed to something more efficient I would love to buy these glosses again. Would you buy this product again? Yes

These are really thick glosses so a little goes a very long way when applying! I put a dab of this on the middle of my lip and blend out with my finger, then I rub my lips together to transfer the color. I have this in Serenity which is a special color used for some kits that Tarte puts on in conjunction with either QVC or Ulta. The color is a lovely light pink on my lips! I do not like gloss by itself! I always put a lipstick over it, this color goes really well with my Revlon Pink In the Afternoon shade! It also helps my lipstick stay on much much much longer! That's one of the pluses to this being so thick and sticky. This is great paired with lipstick and a little goes a long way so it's a great value! I may actually buy this again when I run out! I bought the "Om" shade to go over nude lips with smoky eyes or for a natural look. I love the texture of this gloss, very smooth and velvety. It doesn't stick my lips together and my husband doesn't mind when I kiss him while wearing it (this is THE test of whether or not I'll buy a lip gloss!). It smells so incredibly delicious, I want to apply it all the time! The color is gorgeous, very sheer, very shiny, and perfect for what I was looking for. If you are looking for color, these glosses won't give much of that, but you can always put it over lipstick to add shine and amplify the color. I just got this in 40 winks and liquid sunshine in the mail! I love the lip gloss, but like many of the reviews say the brush is very hard and pokes your lips if not applied from the side of the brush. I had a small sample of 40 winks and the applicator is different. I bought 40 Winks on a lark when buying other products and I'm absolutely in love. The gloss is just right - not too sticky but wears very well. Even after it wears off my lips feel smooth and soft. The color is just right for day wear - it gives color but it's not overpowering.

I have this in liquid sunshine and in 40 winks. Liquid sunshine is basically a colorless gloss with small specks of glitter in it (no neutral sheen as it states) and 40 winks is a nice light (but not pale looking) pink color. I like that these glosses aren't at all sticky and feel good (conditioning) on my lips. They smell good too! I do however wish that the colors were more pigmented. Liquid sunshine was a bit of a disappointment to me because it had no color at all. 40 winks was a better choice. Would you buy this product again? Yes

I bought this gloss in Apple A Day a couple of years back because I loved the fact that finally there was a lip gloss that was actually good for you! I still love these, they are never sticky or tacky, they wear great either alone or over tarte 24/7 lip sheers! They taste wonderful as well :) Would you buy this product again? Yes

I have this gloss in Paradise and it is the perfect color but I wish the texture was smoother. The brush is cheap! I wish Tarte would make it a soft plush brush instead of the "paint brush" type. It has loose bristles that I keep having to cut off. I only gave 3 stars because it did cause an allergic reaction on me. After about 3 days of wearing it my lips broke out in tiny bumps that turn into blisters and no, not the fever blister type. I am allergic to red dye #40 which is not listed in the ingredients but I guess there were so many other red dyes in it that it caused a reaction. I have this problem with a lot of glosses. I might try another color and see if it happens again. Would you buy this product again? Yes

i have the 40 winks lip gloss and i really like it. it has a nice shimmer to it but its not super glittery. smells good, has a nice color, and its not sticky at all. Would you buy this product again? Yes

Wow, this is the longest lasting, most moisturizing lip gloss I have ever tried. I put it on in the morning and usually I apply lip balm about 20 times a day to keep my lips moist. Well, I didn't have to use any lip balm at all. The color is soft, light and flattering with a moist, glossy, slightly shimmery look. Gives you sexy baby lips. Would you buy this product again? Yes

LOVE these. My favorite is OM, pale pink that looks just like a clear gloss with shimmer. These make your lips feel so moisturized, not sticky AT ALL. You get a ton of product in the tube too, more than most lip glosses. Would you buy this product again? Yes

This gloss is great because it makes your lips feel great! I love the colors, the light shimmer, the smell, the taste, I really can't say enough. Again, my only side note is I wish it was a brush applicator. Would you buy this product again? Yes
