Their mission is to advocate for the rights of consumers to have access to products that will maintain and improve their health, and for the rights of retailers and suppliers to sell these products. The Natural Products Association strives to achieve a broader, more accessible marketplace for natural products that will improve the quality of life for consumers worldwide.

Tarte's Eco-Office: Here at tarte we strive to make the world a healthier, more beautiful place. Here are just some of the things we do to help reduce, reuse and recycle every day.
| We make use of all recycled office supplies like 100% recycled printer paper, tape, paperclips and staples. |
| In-office recycling center to make it easy for all employees to recycle. |
| NY tarte employees use mass transit to get to and from work every day. |
| We use a cleaning company that only uses all natural cleaning products. |
| We reuse all packing materials like boxes and bubble wrap to cut down on waste. |
| We use Energy Star qualified CFL energy efficient light bulbs and Energy Star qualified appliances. |
| Tarte shopping bags, stationary, folders and business cards are printed on recycled paper with soy ink. |

Designers Tina Lutz & Marcia Patmos are known for their luxury knitwear line LUTZ & PATMOS. Fashionistas find their yarns irresistible, while eco-conscious consumers are ever so enlightened by these creative geniuses. As we enter the season of sweaters, we’re more excited to call attention to the launch of their ‘little sister line’: LEROY & PERRY.
Both Tina & Marcia were longing for integrity, wishing for purity and looking for the fusion of modernity and tradition while creating Leroy & Perry. Excitingly, both of their lines are 100% ecological, 100% organic & 100% green! While Leroy & Perry is more affordable the designers have the same philosophy behind both labels—constantly researching green-certified dyes, recycled yarns, recycled packaging materials and hangtags, and other environmentally conscious options. They want to continue to challenge spinners, dyers, suppliers and factories to move towards more sustainable production methods. And at tarte we couldn’t agree more! We commend them for their awareness of green manufacturing.
Additional to their eco-friendly efforts, Lutz & Patmos dedicate one style per season to charity. Thus far they have contributed to Al Gore’s The Climate Project, Free Arts, CARE, 7th on Sale, Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, Operation Smile, American Forest and many more. They also help support communities by having their garments made by women’s knitting collectives in Uruguay. With both knitwear collections, Tina & Marcia continue to push the envelope for environmentally-conscious fashion.
