Good brushes, I think I just got a dud.

4 out 5 brushes were great but the little eye shadow brush felt like bristles. Going to try and soften it up, the other 4 bigger brushes were soft and luxurious feeling.

You can just use dish soap if that's all you have, that's generally that's what I end up using. Put a dab of it on your palm and, after wetting your brush, swirl it around on your palm until it's all foamy and the soap is colored from the old makeup coming out. Then rise it off; you may have to repeat this a few times if it's been a while between cleanings (which is of course not recommended but we're all human right?). The most important thing is that when you dry them, you either hang them up or at least lean them up on something so that the water doesn't drip into the handle and cause damage to the brush itself.

I would recommend using warm water on a brush cleaning surface , like; take a paper plate and put different lines on the plate, then take a gentle soap and put it on the mat. Get the brush wet and swirl it on the plate, shape the brush back and let it dry.

I use baby shampoo from johnsons & johnsons to wash them, the bristles stays soft using this technique. 3 tablespoons of shampoo and 2 cup of warm water. I then rince them and hang them up to dry them.

As with any brush they now have cleaners to use. If you clean them using a mild soap take a string and tie it across your shower rod and have a instant way to turn them upside and dry them.

I found these brushes to shed a lot. I also found them to be too soft to pick up pigment or powder. Your real techniques brushes are probably far superior in quality. These are pretty but not functional. (And also they are a little chinzy looking in person).

BEST ANSWER: The brush in the center of the picture could be used for a powder foundation! Otherwise, we'd recommend checking out our Buffer Airbrush Foundation Brush or Paddle to Perfection Brush for liquid foundation!

I really wouldn't easy any of these for foundation. If you're using powder foundation, I would probably use with the larger brush (2nd from the left) but also depends what kind of coverage you're aiming for

BEST ANSWER: I would say they're fairly easy to use! The highlight brushes are great and the eyeshadow brush has an unusual shape that makes it easier to apply shadow to your inner eyelid! I've found that the contour brush is a bit hard to use to apply and properly blend though

they are very easy to use because they are very soft and precise. i think if you are a beginner you should watch some youtube videos what every brush helps for. but over all this set is very good.

I'm not an expert and I agree they are fairly easy to use. They blend and apply the corresponding products very well
