Rolling Stone

2 words: Taylor Swift. She might be 19, but this girl rocks—two covers in one month and still leading the U.S. pop charts for 11 weeks. I’m a big music fan (yes, I can be caught with my iPod on singing along to Love Story) and when I got the March issue of Rolling Stone I was so pumped to see her on the cover. Aside from being distracted by her party girl golden locks I couldn’t help but revel in the tarte credit for her makeup cover look! How cool, right?! OK, I digress—back to Taylor. Just reading that feature made me like her more. Totally down-to- earth and driven. Oh and did I mention, she writes or co-writes all of her music. That’s so impressive. It was really refreshing to read about a successful teenager with real goals and determination.

full house

I just saw a commerical for the “Full House” complete series dvd collection. This will definitely be going on my Christmas list. I loved watching “Full House” going up and I’m sure I’ve seen every episode but who could resist watching them all over again! -Erica

Prison Break Returns

08/29/07

~I’m anxiously awaiting the return of one of my favorite series of all time, Prison Break. I’m literally counting down the days until September 17th – it feels like an eternity since last season ended and I’ve been pining for a new episode ever since! Besides being a great show I look forward to having Monday night quality time with Rich – usually one of us has to compromise while the other watches sports (Rich) or reruns of Law & Order (me). This is one show that we are both really into and it’s become a fun tradition to make dinner and watch the show together every Monday night! -maria

Movie Recommendation

08/20/07

~I went to see Superbad this weekend (along with half of the population of NYC) and loved it! I was a little nervous that it would be like Knocked Up – you know – kind of funny but nothing to write home about. Well, it was more like 40 Year Old Virgin! I can’t wait until it comes out on DVD so I can constantly quote lines with everyone at work! -heather

~ I finally got to see the movie “Knocked Up” this weekend with friends, it was so funny! The director is the same guy who directed “40-Year Old Virgin”, another of my favorite movies. I definitely recommend seeing it for a good laugh! -erica
