I spent some time chatting with the Tarte customer service to verify that the product I ordered was the same as the product I loved. A

"It is not the same product. Zero scent, it sparkles. It’s more pink. It’s a decent enough product for that just in the sun” look on my shoulders but I’m not putting this on my face. So I kept it. But I will not order it again. I would give 4 stars for this product, had it been the product I was after. Customer Service led me wrong, so one star it is. The original Amazonian Clay Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess shade was PERFECTION. It is beyond me why Tarte would change that."

Why would you change a perfect product?!?!

"I am so disappointed and devastated! This is not the OG Park avenue princess bronzer. This pulls so orange!! I am a month out from my wedding and now I'm left scrambling trying to find something comparable. I cannot comprehend why tarte would make such a drastic change to such a beloved holy Grail product. Even the OG matte version was incredible and perfect for cool, neutral, and even warm skin tones. You are not Westmore beauty!! This product is absolute garbage and looks like a bad '90s bottle tan. Milani silky matte in sunlight is the only thing I've found that matches the matte original but it doesn't have the glow this had. Please bring back this original product!!!!"

Just not as good as the original

"Please bring back the original formula. I loved the light coconut smell and the build ability of the original product. The new one has a plastic odor that is not nice and goes on too heavy despite using the same application brush I always used with the original product. The original Amazonian clay product has been a staple of my daily routine for years with so many compliments of how tan I look. Please bring back the original formula."

"If you are looking for the og park ave princess this is not it. It is no where close to the cool toned bronzer it used to be with the tone being more orange. Why would you discontinue the perfect matte, waterproof bronzer that has been my go to for years. Extremely disappointed."

Does this item come WITH the brush for applying please?
You can purchase the brush separately!
Is it ashy?
No I use there brush with it and it gives a nice sun kissed look
Is this a matte finish?
Yes and it leaves the prettiest shade and you look naturally tan! i just love love it!
Do I use my makeup first then bronze over it?
I personally do and then put a little bit more of a powder foundation on on top to help Blend it out even better
Will it come off if you go swimming in the ocean or pool? Will it streak if water splashes in your legs?
