We donated $100,000 from all US orders on tarte.com & TikTok live. Founder & CEO Maureen Kelly personally donated $150,000 to support those impacted. Together, this $250,000 will go to World Central Kitchen & their efforts to aid those most impacted by Hurricane Helene & Milton!

Through the Shape Your Future™ Awards, tarte™ created pathways to accelerate the advancement of Black female-owned businesses. $300,000 awarded – $150,000 contributed by tarte Cosmetics & $150,000 pledged by Founder & CEO, Maureen Kelly, who has been committed to paying it forward to fellow entrepreneurs.

Inspired by our confidence-boosting mascara, we hosted our first-ever leadership summit open to applicants 13-18 years old which featured motivational guest speakers & female-empowerment activities. At the conference, we also gave away scholarships to selected winners to help grow & shape their future! #MyBigEgo

In sourcing ingredients like Amazonian clay & maracuja oil, CEO Maureen Kelly sought out cooperatives to work with to ensure that everything is harvested in a sustainable way, as well as to support & empower local communities where the ingredients are found.

We've partnered to help fund an all-female cooperative in the Rainforest to not only sustainably source ingredients, but provide local women with resources, skills & training to succeed & support their families.
Maracuja Oil
Our all-female farming community in the Rainforest uses the seeds that would normally be discarded & cold-press them into maracuja oil. Not only does the product do good for your complexion - it also helps to empower a community of women & reduce our own carbon footprint.
Amazonian Clay
Spanning 4,000 miles, the Amazon River collects highly nutritious plant & fruit matter as it runs its course, ultimately ending up in the river's basin, where the clay is at its highest nutrient concentration. We wait for the sun to naturally bake the clay, locking in the plant & fruit nutrients, then shave the clay down to a finely-milled powder to infuse in our high-performance natural™ formulas.
