Bought as a gift for my daughter, she has had many different brands of sponges. Said the babassu is by far the best she has used. Blends foundation and concealer smooth and evenly, cleans out easily. Will most definitely purchase again. Highly recommend!

This is my Go to sponge. I keep repurchasing it when i wear out my older one. I have yet to find a sponge better than this. Its soft. Fits in all the right places. Easy to use. Easy to clean ! Its just hands down my favorite. I have 2 new back up ones sitting in my makeup closet for when im ready to use a new one

Got this sponge in a set. Very long lasting even thru multiple washes. Will buy again by itself, even though it's a bit pricey IMO. Blending is excellent.

Good for under the eye

I love the different angles I can get with this sponge. Big fan of tarte sponges and I like different shapes. Also easy to clean with dawn dishsoap

I received one of these sponges in a holiday set and it has been tossed around in my beauty area for a while. I finally.got around to using it and I LOVE it. It is so soft and I can get every hard to blend.area on my face thanks to all the different corners.

First time using a sponge & I LOVE it!

I bought this to go along with the Foundcealer and I am so glad that I did. It helps apply the foundcealer like a dream. It gets into all the hard to reach places on my face with no problem at all.

PROS:
After using the babassu foundcealer sponge, I can't see myself buying any other sponge--seriously!--save for maybe trying out Tarte's "shaper" or "mini" sponges. The tiny edges took a little getting used to, but by my second makeup application, I was so, SO grateful for the precision with which I could dab/bounce it around my eyes and nostrils. Now, I don't have to worry about my eyelashes "disappearing"! This sponge left seamless, even, medium coverage, and if you apply too much of something, you can really suck it back up. Oh, and dragging the flat end applies WAY more product at once and cuts a really precise line, so I cannot WAIT to try carving out my cheek contour with it!!! I really can't see going to an egg shape now that I know this exists.<3

CONS:
There were two downsides for me. When I first rinsed the sponge, tiny pieces of foam disintegrated off the tip of the flat end. I wasn't being rough with it in the slightest. Since then, I've been gentler and have had no problem. Just be warned ahead of time to treat that end like it's a porcelain doll (when cleaning--it was no risk except when soaked)! Lol. The other downside for me may still be reversible, could be related to my Sephora foundation, and isn't ACTUALLY important... After one use (a heavy one--color correcting, foundation, and highlighting and contouring with shape tape), my sponge became completely and *stubbornly* stained! Washing with hand soap removed literally 0% of the makeup! Dunking in a bowl of water and hand soap removed a small amount, but it was taking a looong time, so I quit. I am about to try massaging some Dawn dish detergent into it before soaking it in a bowl for a couple hours. Wish me luck!

I have owned several makeup sponges similar to this, some significantly cheaper, and others comparable in price. I will say, this one is by far my favorite! It is precise in it's application, but it blends so much better than the cheaper ones and I love the softness and angle of this one. Fantastic purchase, I will probably buy more and never deviate from this exact one.

I really like the shape of this sponge. It’s great for under eye and all over coverage. You just have to be careful when cleaning because I guess I was too rough the first time I washed it and it kinda ripped BUT I have washed it servers times since being more gentle and it was not been an issue.

I found this sponge to be very hard and absorbed most of the product when applying my foundation. I would not purchase this again.

This is the best sponge I think Tarte sells. It absorbs water super easy and is easy to squeeze out. I also appreciate the precision of the sponge.

I only used it once and lost it but it was super soft and the one time I used it, it didn’t really blend as well as I thought

Tarte has the best sponges period, in my opinion at least. They stand up well to multiple washings, dry quickly, and easily morph into any size and dimension you need — for all those nooks and crannies. I spritz on ready set go to moisten and go to work applying various tarte foundations and BB/ CC cream, cream products (blush, contour, highlight etc)& eye shadows, They are a tad pricey but they do not irritate my skin as others have, do not soak up product, and last forever with diligent cleanings to prevent bacteria ll growth (which is a risk in every makeup tool!)

I’m a cheap gal but find these a worthy investment!!

Now I love this sponge even more than my BeautyBlender, because it's more precise, can hold more dampness while applying (it's good for my dry skin) and so easy to clean, unlike beautyblender!

The sponge is perfect for applying the concealer. The square end follows well the eye contour.

Great sponge I ordered a back up

This sponge is so soft and gentle to your skin and it blends out everything nice and evenly if you dampen it. But its also usable dry. Especially its different shape fulfill your needs.

Really enjoyed the sponge. Perfect for contour and under eyes.
