Great Coverage and Doesn't Accumulate in Wrinkles
I am pleased to have tried the Tarte shape tape. I used the online skin evaluator to determine a color, and I was leery as I tried different lighting and kept getting different results. But I eventually chose the shade under the light that I thought looked most realistic and it was a great match. I have used the product to cover a few dark spots, and also along the inside of my eyes and a little down to cover darkness under my eyes. I am happy to report after a full day, it still wears well and does not collect in the creases or lines.
I do have to say though, that I was very disappointed in the excessive packaging. In this time of sustainability awareness, I was shocked at the size of the box that arrived for the tiny little contents. Please do better! See photo

These products are light enough to look really natural but cover enough to resist hours of stage lights and sweat and still look flawless. Love them. And LOVE all the tools the page has to assist you with the correct tone and products for you. Love the size.

A little bit pricey for the size, but a great size for my MUA kit so I can fit more shades in at a lower weight and photographs well for photography makeup but only 6 months shelf life, wish the shelve life was more like other products. The price and the shelf life has made it drop a start.

Shades vary widely from the Amazonian Clay line
I have now purchased SEVEN shades of mini Shape Tape concealer to find a shade that works! I've had a little bit of trouble before moving between products in Tarte's various lines (even within lines, like from the Amazonian Clay cream foundation to the Amazonian Clay stick foundation--which is much lighter.) but this was significant. Normally I use a slightly lighter concealer under my eyes than I would use on my face. I'm approx. a fair-light neutral (a little darker in summer, and a little lighter if it's been a particularly harsh winter), so I opt for fair concealer in the Amazonian Clay line. Wow, the Shape Tape was GHOSTLY pale in fair. I stepped up to fair-light; still SO white. (After an hour I looked like a carnival witch, with it all settled into my creases and chalky pale.) I stepped up a few at a time, all the way to light-medium sand before I found something even close. This one doesn't settle too much visibly. It is VERY opaque. It dries extremely fast so you have to apply to one eye at a time or it won't blend in.Not at ALL greasy (like, it's the polar opposite of the Creaseless Concealer, which I found to be very sticky and looked oily on me, and not at all creaseless). However, at $12/ea I feel like there should at least be a coupon towards a full-size or something with purchase of a mini, LOL!

Best concealer out there, mic drop!
This stuff works wonders! A little goes a long way but I recommend ordering a few different shades maybe 3 to find the best match to your skin tone. I have 4 stars only to the fact that the travel size is really more more of a trial size item which is the only bummer..... but as for this product, use along with base tape primer for the best all day stay & slay power and to keep it from creasing use a setting powder and setting spray to finish off your look, I used to be a Make Up artist for music videos and commercials and WOW, i wish i found this product way back then. A littlr goes along way, less is more for a natural look! U will be impressed.

I have tried many many other concealers both inexpensive and pricey brands nothing compares to it. I am love changing and trying new products however, I must stick to it. It applies so smoothly and consistently. It is just the perfect formula. Thank you!

Purchased this because I wanted to try it before I invested in the full size. I was always hesitant to try it because of all of the hype online about it, but I think the hype is well deserved! I tried this and the Nars concealer to see which worked better for me and this one definitely has more coverage, which is what I was looking for!

This concealer is my new favorite . It has this lovely consistency and the perfect coverage anyone can ask for . Best concealer ever but buy the full size as the travel size is far more tiny than I expected. The shape tape concealer is the best concealer out there, it really is super full coverage, light weight and doesn’t budge all day, for me personally it is sweat proof and waterproof. I do exfoliate before I use this as I’ve dry areas of my face. It is a superb formula. It does not feel like I’m wearing anything on my face it is so comfortable to wear. It lasts the longest out of any concealer I’ve tried. 20 hours.

BEST ANSWER: i'd day go for a foundation that is still your skin tone but slightly darker than the concealer so that the concealer gives the brightening effect under the eyes. if not, the same colour is perfect too!

I'd recommend a shade darker than the concealer for the foundation. Also, check out your undertones. Pink, yellow, or neutral undertones really make a difference in a liquid foundation.

Either 1-2 shades lighter depending on the brightness effect that your wanting. Same shade will also work, just won't give you as much contouring and brightening effect.

With recent trends, you would typically go lighter with your concealer. 2 shades lighter is recommended but it is down to your personal preference. I only go 1 shade lighter with mine and use a pinky toned concealer if my foundation is more yellow toned, which it usually is. However with a neutral shade of foundation i go with a yellow undertone concealer.

If it is going under your eyes or being used to highlight , I would suggest going a shade or two lighter however if it is used for spot concealing I would say to use a colour as close to your foundation as you can but never darker to ensure you are as covered as you can be . Going to light or dark will just lead to imperfections being emphasised . Hope you find the concealer the right colour and love it 😊

It depends on the use. If you use it under eyes a concealer slightly lighter will brighten that area (also yellow undertones help with dark circles) but for spot concealing it better be aperfect much. I prefer to pick my perfect much and brighten my undereye area with a setting powder.

Hi, if you also. Want to. Higlight the undereyes area you should use one lighter. Darker is for contour you face. If you only want to cover dark circles, this one is full. Coverage and you can use the same shade of you foundation.

Great deal! Use a small brush to blend without smudging. I recommend getting either 1-2 shades lighter depending on the brightness effect that your wanting. Same shade will also work, just won't give you as much contouring and brightening effect.
