not my favorite
I had high hopes for this product and while it's portability is great, the staying power is not so great. It has a tendency to move around on my face, settling into fine lines and fading under my eyes where I need it most.

Light Beige is extremely light
I have pink undertones so I bought Light Beige based on the description. It is ‘extremely’ light so it will be returned. I don’t understand why Tarte doesn’t offer a darker shade with pink undertones, which is especially important for women that have rosacea. Years ago, I bought Tarte’s Colored Clay Primer CC cream in a stick in the color “Light”. It was great which is why I tried this stick foundation. The “Light” color on the CC stick was much darker which is why I thought Light Beige in the stick foundation would work. You can’t get the CC stick product anymore which is too bad because it felt great on your skin. I have sensitive skin and and wore it as a lighter foundation.

BUY THIS!!
First off let me say I usually hate foundation sticks. Not this one though! The shade matches perfect and was very smooth going on. It also is very long lasting! I highly recommend 10/10

Not for me
This didn’t work for me. The foundation doesn’t sink into my skin well and just sits weird on my face. I am 40 and was hoping to find a more full coverage foundation that doesn’t sit in my wrinkles and pores and make me look old bit that is what this did. It is a good color and easy to put on but just not for me. I use the bb cream instead and love it.

Phenomenal foundation!
This is my favorite foundation to date. I have used other brands and types of foundations, but once I tried the clay stick foundation I haven't used anything else.

Love this product as it gives a perfect natural look but still covers up beautifully. Plus very handy to carry around with you.

My Favorite
If you have textured skin, redness, combination skin, visible pores, then this product is a must have in your make up bag! It's creamy texture is the right amount to glide on smoothly and does not cake up my face. I use a face sponge and it's a perfect pair!

Makes skin look patchy
Made my skin look extremely patchy! Doesn’t blend easily. Transfers easily too.

Cakey
I purchased this stick foundation because it seemed convenient and great for travel. However, the product just sits on top of my skin like a layer of spackle. It shifts into the wrinkles throughout the day. So it's a lovely concept but not too flattering irl.

AVOID UNLESS YOU HAVE FLAWLESS SKIN
I literally reset my tarte password and all to get back into this account in order to write this bad review, that’s how badly I hate this product. It’s so expensive and so rubbish at the same time!
If you have active acne or any bumps on your face or even spots, AVOID AVOID AVOID! The foundation sits on your skin like a face mask & looks blotchy. I’ve used a brush and a sponge to try and make the foundation look good on my skin. It looks horrible!
- one touch and the coverage lifts
- pores don’t cover up
- looks like face paint rather than skin (after blending)
- gets oily after a while (i have combination skin & it looks bad all over)
- sets in creases & fine lines
