I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara. I don't ever leave reviews unless I truly love the product. I am so sad that they are no longer selling this mascara at my local sephoras so I'll have to order online but! This mascara gives length and volume and it DOESN'T FLAKE which I love!! Best mascara I've tried.

Thankfully I got this on sale - because it did not perform as advertised, and it was dried up within a month.

Love surfer curl mascara! Stays on. No flaking. No running. Looks good all day.

Only 4 stars because the wand does not separate my lashes very well. Mascara stays on for a long time.

Loved this mascara when I first opened it but it dried out and became clumpy after 2 weeks. I expected it would last longer than 2 weeks. Very disappointed.

This formula does not help curl the lashes and it is very dry and flaky. I will not be buying again.

Did not hold up to it's claims. Did not volumize or lengthen for me.

Eehh not my favorite.. when I used it it flaked on me ..but is a very black mascara which I love.. the brush is also good just not the formula .

I love this mascara, it makes my lashes look great! The only downside is it dries out quickly and flakes after a couple weeks of using it. Therefore it is not long lasting for the price.

I've heard mixed reviews about this mascara, but for me personally I really like it. It made my lashes long, didn't flake, and made them very flattering.

I've been using Lights, Camera, Lashes! for over a decade and finally wanted to try something new. This mascara separates and lengthens my lashes, creating a beautiful eye. It's long lasting, and only after about 12 hrs, does it begin to flake. Doesn't appear to be waterproof, bc I cried while watching a film, and there was slight smudging under my eyes.

This mascara is highly underrated. I’m just going to say it, I really dislike Maneater because of how it transfers and is impossible to get off. However, Surfer Curl mascara is so great, it does not transfer and is easy to take off! It adds volume and length with just a couple coats and the bristles are so soft giving it a more natural feel. I love it and will be buying more!

I love this mascara! I have 3 tubes, one for home, my purse, and I keep another at my parent's house for when I visit. It perfectly volumizes and lengthens my lashes. When I first started using it my friend thought I was using fake lashes. I use two coats for everyday use and multiple coats for special occasions to give that full lush lash look. A must try!

I have always loved the Maneater mascara, When I saw this one, I wanted to give it a try--I am so glad I did! I think it's my new favorite! I just ordered two more tubes!

I like it a lot, totally unexpected

I really like the way this mascara applies and the way it looks!
It reminds me of my lashes back in the 70's, when it was all about the lash! I will continue to use this product. I did have a hard time finding it in the stores Ulta and other cosmetic stores. But it was very easy to order on line. It is my go to mascara.

Was so surprised with this product! I have trouble with my lashes drooping after wearing mascara for a little, but this product kept my lashes curled all day. Super easy to take off and it’s good for my lashes??? I’m yes please! Only recommendation I would make is to make a water proof version because I love this so much!

I was excited this mascara was "Flake Resistant", but sadly the first day I wore it flaked a lot. Would not recommend

Love this mascara, but it does leave flakes after a couple of hours even with an eye primer. It does give your lashes volume.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this product. I received a trial size in my Ipsy box and was so happy. I have small thin eyelashes and I put this on and could not believe these were the same eyelashed.

This is my favorite mascara! I use it all the time. It gives your lashes length, volume, and curl. I love this mascara so much you should definitely try it out you will not regret it.

This has quickly become my new favorite mascara. (I have used almost all of tarte’s mascaras)

I really wanted to love this mascara but it did everything it said it would not do including clumping, and flaking. I found it really hard to get an even application without too much product clumping onto my lashes in some spots. I would not recommend.

With the name Surfer Curl I thought it would be waterproof...like going into the ocean/water/pool etc... I live in South Florida and it is humid all the time and after a couple of hours this mascara flakes and runs. Also, I was Las Vegas back in January...not humid...but it was chilly and my eyes teared up on me in the cold and the mascara ran. It does a nice job lifting my lashes.

This is my go to for day to day. Good for work or casual days, running errands, etc. It lengthens but isn’t super dark or heavy. Just gives a natural light coating.

I tried this mascara with my Ipsy bag & instantly loved it. It goes on easy & gives an instant lift, lengthening & volume. I loved it so much that I went to the Tarte website & bought 3 tubes, one for me & my 2 daughters.

Not my favorite because it flakes and didn’t stay on very well at all. Going back to what I had been using before even though it is more expensive

I LOVE the way this mascara looks on my eyelashes. I have very long, thin eyelashes and this makes them look full and lush. One problem - it's most definitely not waterproof or tear proof. I was crying slightly one day and I looked like Erika Jane on her walk with Kyle on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Not a good look. I thought it was waterproof. My bad. Is there a waterproof version because I REALLY love the way it looks.

It is a nice mascara that gives a great lift and curl.

This has easily become one of my favorite tarte mascaras! I love layering this one on top of the maneater mascara.

It's a great volumizing mascara. No clumps with the right technique and lasts all day.

The first time I used this, I found it very thick and hard to use. But it did add length and make my lashes look amazing! I wasn't sold on it until the end of my work day when I looked at my eyes. I didn't have raccoon eyes, I didn't have smudges, and my under eyes were spot-free of my mascara. I have combination skin and my under eye and lids tend to become oily, so finding a good mascara to stay put is a must! After I saw how well this held, I tried it out a few more times, playing around with different ways to apply it and to make it work for me. I had to clean the brush completely of all the build up and start with fresh, clean bristles and that did the trick. After a few uses, I have to re-clean the brush again.
My original favourite was Clinique High Impact mascara but I've now switch to this because I can actually wear it on my bottom lashes. It's honestly the best!

After trying over a dozen mascaras, this one is the absolute best!! No flaking, lengthening, no clumps and definitely did not irritate my eyes!

I absolutely love this mascara. A hydrating formula that lengthens and stays on all day, plus it looks very natural and easy. No flaking or those annoying black smudges under my eyes. I’ve turned several friends to this one as well.
