I would not recommend the Taupe shade because it’s orange on brows. Not what I expected at all.

this great brow pen. Just wish it came in a lighter color. I am using taupe but just a bit darker than I would like.

I prefer the brow pomade with angle brush but this pen definitely comes in handy for a quick brow application or fine tuning!

My eyebrow makeup issues were solved when I bought this product. This is the best eyebrow pencil I have ever used and would highly recommend this to anyone. The brush is perfect, the blending and tone is perfect and is realistic and long lasting.

This product is great for shaping your eyebrows without making it look like you are wearing makeup. You can draw on individual hairs to fill in spots missing hair or to make both eyebrows look even. It's super easy to damage the nib and then you can really only use it for filling, but so long as you're careful with it - it lasts for a while. This product is also super long-wearing and doesn't smudge. Best product for natural-looking eyebrows.

This is the best ever eyebrow marker. It literally looks like hair stokes. Must add this to you’re makeup collection.

i do not care for this but then again I am not good at doing my eyebrows never really learned especially with the way people draw them on now. I will stick with my benefit pen until I get better at using this

The pigment on this is awesome! I’m not sure what some of the other reviewers do with their brow routine - but as a person who doesn’t wear foundation, only eye makeup, blush and bronzer, I had no issue with this pen working well, drawing crisp lines, or staying in place all day. It helps create the perfect fluffy look!

Just made ink splotches on me but I could done it wrong

I have next to no eyebrows and this is my new favorite product! It took me only two tries to learn how to make them look natural. Please don't stop making this...EVER.

Applies really easily and has a great colour payoff. Also stays on really well throughout the day. Shade matching is a little hard since there are only 3 options, and since the colour is so bold it can look a bit off of your shade isn't close.

This is so odd - some really good reviews on this product and some not so good. It really must depend on your makeup regime and skin type as to whether this works for you.

It felt like I was just putting a water pen on my brows - no pigment at all. This is on top of makeup and powder (maybe not enough powder over my brows?). Would not buy again.

This stuff is great for quick brows. It lasts a long time and I had no trouble with it staying on all day (I use setting spray on top)

This has officially become my favorite eyebrow product. This pen really delivers on the tinting and filling in of sparse brows, even better than the frameworker brow pomade (which was my favorite brow product prior to the detailing pen, but is now a close second).
I have fair skin and hair, and I struggle with really thin, really light colored and really sparse brows, plus a scar through one of my brows, and even using the taupe, lightest shades for blondes, I always feel like I am drawing on Bozo lines. I have tried filling in my brows with pencil, powders, gels, pomade, and this pen has been the best yet. It is smooth and wet like a liquid eyeliner, and the color is faint and buildable (which makes the transition from no brows to brows subtle and believable) and it shades my skin (scar included!) and brows smoothly to look fuller. Gels and pencils and even the pomade have often just enhanced the brow hair color and leaving faint areas where you can tell the product stuck more to the hair than skin and looks streaky and requires a lot more blending. But this pen lightly tints the skin behind the brows easily, for a fuller appearance with minimal product in just one sweep.

This very easy to use, very pigmented. It's great for filling in gaps in my eyebrows. I chose medium brown and it's decent match that blends in with natural hair color. It doesn't bleed and stays on all day even if you get sweaty!

I feel Like it’s not even putting anything on my brows. I have a lot of bald spots (sparse spots) and it does not even fill them in. Will not buy again.

I have tried a lot of brow pens, I prefer them over other brow color products. I like the tip on this one, it allows for very fine hair-like strokes. I only tried one shade, it was a little dark for me so I want to try the next lighter shade and see if it looks less bold with my coloring. It takes some practice to get the use of this pen down, but I say give it a try!

I love this stuff. I have never been good at doing my eyebrows but this stuff makes it easy.

Unfortunately, It really does look like you drew you eye brows on with a marker… lol even with a light hand/stroke or attempting to comb and blend after with the spoolie, I couldn’t get it to look better/more realistic/less harsh/fake. I do have very thin eye brows though, so I think this type of product is just not for me. Perhaps sir someone with already decently full brows just looking for a little extra drama. *shrug*

I don't know what I was expecting from this product but I did at least expect it to work. It doesn't matter how much makeup I'm wearing or how I've done it, this product will not actually transfer onto my brows/skin. Very little product actually comes out. This was not a well thought through product.

I was it a fan of this! I was super excited to try it and when I did I was not impressed. The product was light, the tip is to flimsy, not worth the money.

Love this brow pen!

I use this pen in Taupe for my brows and for faux freckles!!! For freckles I dot and lightly dab my finger over the dot immediately for a natural sun kissed freckled look across my nose and cheeks. For my brows I first fill and shape with a pencil and then use this pen to fill in and create that fluffy brow look that is trending! Perfect for Summer!!!

I want to love this and give it a higher rating, but this takes a lot of practice to apply. The first time I used it I looked like a clown--as I've worked with it, I have learned which way to use the pen so my brows don't look totally drawn on. They look great and stay all day, but the application certainly takes some practice!

The best!! It made me forget how bad my eyebrows were and I now spend way less time doing my eyebrows with much, much, much better results!!

I love tarte , but hate this product. It looks like I put a marker on my eyebrows, it also comes off if you sweat .

I do like this eyebrow pen but it’s not my absolute favorite one they make.

After just one use of this, I knew I had found my desert island brow product! I went ahead and bought two more immediately! I have been trying to grow my brows a little further in and there are a few sparse areas where the hairs haven’t grown in yet. This pen perfectly fill in those gaps with a fine hair-like appearance. It looks very natural! I got the dark brown which is a perfect match for me. I do think if you want a very dark brow, this won’t quite get it for you. It’s more of a medium-to-dark brown and not a dark brown-to-black.

This little brow pen helps me to have great brows. I have scarce brow hair and mine is blonde and you cannot see it well. I use this to add tiny flicks of hair in my brows to fill it in and I get compliments on my brows all the time! Use a very light hand to get a tiny hair line. LOVE it!

easy to use with better than expected results

I love brow detailing pens like this. I use the benefit one and I love it, but Im loyal to tarte and when they created a similar product, I knew I wanted to try it. Glad I did, I find it VERY easy to use if you like this type of brow product over a pencil. I think its great for quick brow fills and to cover a few gray brow hairs (37 and I have them...grrrr) The only issue I had is the color is very dark. I wish they had a few more shades to pick from. If I could get the correct color, this would be 5 stars. I got a shade down from what I would normally get and its still a little dark. I got medium brown and its VERY dark brown. I have black hair, so I made it work, but I would pick a shade down from what you think you want.

I love the formula of the product. It is liquid but does not spill. It is like a pen with which you can draw hair by hair but without being very marked, you literally just frame and shape it. It lasts more than 12 hours. Love !!!

It is a great brow tool! It is kinda difficult to use, especially since I am used to using a brow pencil, but it is good! But its hard to get precise lines, and it is hard to blend. I wish there were more shades! I got the darkest shade, and it's a little dark for me, but the medium shade is too light. So its hard to get a perfect shade match. But overall good product!

The color does not match. I bought 2 different colors to try have to use both to even come close to the color of my browser. It dries out to quick so I have to keep shaking it. It's like using a sharpie when you are not on a flat surface. The ink runs out.. It does not blend so it looks harsh. I will not purchase it again.
