Love Tarte- but never sends the samples!
I love all the colors of the stick eyeshadows. I have them all except the darkest brown. I have brown eyes and red hair and the rose gold on the lid and matte cream at brow bone really lights up my eyes! Does not make my lids look 'wrinkley' either as some stick shadows can. Also long wearing - not oily but also not drying. I just wish they would send the sample I always choose! I order a lot from here!

If you like sticky eyes, give this a try!
I was so excited to get this. I want it for my up coming cruise. Unfortunately I do not like it at all. It stays sticky feeling. I can't imagine it's actually going to be waterproof. I have heavy hooded eyes, the gel liner doesn't dry. It transfers to my lids and eventually it is all on my lids and none by my lashes. All day blinking, with sticky eyes, is not my idea of how a $25 product should feel. It has 2 stars for color and ease- I am being generous considering I truly do not want to use it again. I tried it a few times.

Bronze luster is the perfect every-day eye shadow to make your eyes pop.
OMG…I had been seeking a one-and-done eyeshadow for MONTHS. I wanted something that brightened my brown eyes (warmer toned) but also provided a beautiful Smokey-type eye without the drama that I could use every day. I tried bronze luster and never looked back. That was 4 months ago. I can’t tell you how beautiful it is and natural looking. Makes me look so put together and I love that there’s no fallout…like I had no idea I was missing that in my life. It also doesn’t crease which—I know—is impossible to believe but it’s true. I normally never write makeup reviews but had to write this.

Love the "easy" concept because I love to just touch up my eyes and go, but it smudges and doesn't last. I've tried setting spray. Still smudges and wears off early. Waterproof? If only it did as described... unfortunately, not so much.

Favorite Cream Eyeshadow
This has become my favorite cream eyeshadow. The formula is slightly creamy and very comfortable on the eyelid. It's super easy to blend out, and it's very pigmented. I wish it came in more colors because this is such a great product. It's long lasting, and unlike powder eyeshadows, this one doesn't wear out and look oily at the end of the day.

These colors are nice and very easy to use. I love how this product just glides on so smoothly. But I have to stop there… the eyeliner takes awhile to dry. The first time I used it my eyeliner stayed wet while I finished putting on my makeup. It did smudge and was hard to remove. Yes it definitely stays put all day. I would love to see more colors and a better drying formula for the eyeliner.

I'm in my 70's and wear very little makeup. However my eyes did need some definition. My daughter recommended this brand, and I am so pleased with this product. It applies easily, the color is intense and the formula is creamy. Helps give my eyes definition and makes them sparkle. Definitely recommend this product.

Great liner, light shadow.
The brown eyeliner is fantastic. I love the color and the stay. However, the matte tan eye shadow is MUCH lighter than I expected. I have tan skin, much like one of the models. I thought it would be a great neutral/nude shade, but it was much lighter, and actually looks awkward.
Will still seek out the liner, but I’ll skip the shadow.

I always use a silicone primer, and I think it will be easier to blend this eyeshadow over primed skin vs dry skin.

Eye makeup is always hard because it depends on how much you touch your eyes or if its humid out. I live in south Florida, very humid, and found this to last about 6 hours. The nice thing is that it has covers for both sides so you can very easily take it with you for touch ups, which is why i love it.

Since the liner is waterproof will it stay in the waterline? Would also love to see more color combos. A dark matte green for instance. Does Tarte plan to add bolder colors and mattes to this collection soon?
