I like the texture of the product. It goes on so that it blends in. I have some dry areas and shiny ones and this product helps with both. My only wish is that the applicator brush had some type of container or cover.

I love this powder! The only draw back is that the in the compact form it breaks super easy. It is a very light formula on the face, but that lends it to be very fragile. The last one I order was already cracked when received. Will be ordering again but in loose powder.

I love this setting powder! Its finely milled so the powder blends beautifully and doesnt get cakey

Not really a fan. It was ok for setting foundation, but not great. Also too much always came onto the make up brush, and it cracked or dusted away too easily. Because of this, I went through a compact in record time! Went straight back to the tinted version.

this product is a life saver if you have even a tiny bit of oil on your face. I apply it after my whole makeup routine and I AM ALL MATTE. NO OIL AT ALL. it mattifies your T zone that can get super oily and it lasts all day. I have tried so many finishing powders and nothing comes even close to how amazing this is!

I.have used the loose since it CA!e out. I still do. I had oily skin then and it didn't cake.
I have dry skin now. Somehow my forehead and nose get shiny. I still love taking out a compact. I am happy they packaged the Amazonian Clay Powder in a compact.
It is dense. I use a pop.up.brush and not a sponge. Maybe good cotton would work.

This is my second purchase of Smooth Operatir. Thus translucent light powder is amazing on my nature skin. I lightly apply, with a fan brush, on my forehead, down the center of my nose and in my chin. I even apply on my upper cheeks for an evening look. This powder does not settle in lines. Instead the lines diminish and my skin has a fresh very slight glow. Thus stuff is my magic

Must have. I never have any make-up marks on my mask with this.

Awesome blurring/de-shining powder. A little goes a long way and no caking whatsoever. I love this stuff in the summer in particular. I love the slim compact brush that comes with it, too.

I LOVE the loose powder version of this. It's hands down my favorite makeup product in the world. I was really looking forward to buying the pressed powder version, just to stop having the mess in my purse, because I NEED this powder in my life. That being said, while the compact is nice and convenient, the pressed powder just does not have the same coverage ability, and the brush itself is NOT...well...good for much of anything. I still find myself needing to carry a different brush around in my purse just to apply this. I've used the brush a couple times to add bronzer around my chin line and such, to contour, so I suppose it wasn't a total waste. But definitely take that into consideration, if you're debating between the two. I really wish there was a better way to carry the loose powder version of this around in my purse...or a smaller brush that actually works for applying it. But hey... it's hard to top perfection, I suppose.

I have really oily skin and this product is compact enough to keep in my purse and allows me to touch up wherever I am.Not to mention it goes a long way! Would highly recommend!

Soft product, crumbles. Sets under layers, but not as long wear as I hoped.

Works great for shine and oily skin. I don’t use this all over my face because powder drys out some areas, but it is awesome for my oily areas like my forehead where I get a lot of shine. It would work well for setting foundation for oily skin too

Sets foundation and compact perfect for purse

This product is really nice, but it's very dusty and loose. After a couple days using it, it started to cave in the middle like there wasn't any powder under the top layer. I feel like it may have been half empty? I wouldn't order again.

i love wearing this powder over my foundacealer foundation. it doesn't settle into my fine lines, not even in the undereye area! its also great to know this is talc free.

It’s a great talc free powder. Although the shape tape finishing powder has more coverage, I think this irritates my skin less. It doesn’t give any extra coverage but does remove that oily/wet finish after applying liquid foundation.

Wow, the talc free powder works awesome on my skin. Slight simmering effect gives beautiful glow. Talc free is one main advantage of this powder also gives finish look after makeup.

This translucent setting powder is great for all complexions. I prefer this pressed compact over loose any day.

Super sheer and leaves makeup with a flawless long-lasting finish. My only complaint is I wish there was more product in the pan. I would definitely recommend.No noticeable flashback.

I like this. The coverage is light and it does not settle into fine lines. However, i feel like all my makeup is perfectly set after using it, despite the lightness. Highly recommend

I feel like my face gets oily within the first hour of putting make up on. I’m always looking for a new finishing powder that helps prevent that. This is really great. Not a miracle worker but I highly suggest you try it out. I reapply maybe 1-2 times a day and it never looks caked on.

Hands down best powder ever. I stock up on it.

Didn’t do much and it smells off, like rotten somehow. I had to take off the little bit I could get on because I kept smelling it.

Great for touchups but it cannot replace the smooth operator™ Amazonian clay finishing powder when it comes to its mattifying power. Big mirror and integrated brush which is super practical.

I have tried a lot of pressed powders before and have found Tart to the be the best! I love this product.

Highly recommend this finishing powder! I always carry this in my purse for touch ups throughout the day.

bought this product because I liked their blush. This pressed powder did not come off using sponge/brush or the included brush. After the top layer of powder was gone, the whole thing became a loose powder. Also, left makeup cakey...

I use this finishing powder all over my face. It keeps my oiliness at bay and helps my shadow stay as well (I also use primer). This powder is the best and so easy to apply with the brush.

Like everything in the world, sometimes what you get isn't what it should be. Customer service made it right and the product was as expected the second time around.

I LOVE this powder because it sits so light on the face. I have dry skin and powder generally hates me. But, not this product. LOVE.

I wanted to try this because where I apply the Amazonian clay blush in my cheeks it doesn’t seem to get oily . I think they are similar formulas and I love it. Looks shiny but applies translucent to the face. So far I like it.

I didn’t really care for this product. Maybe it just didn’t work with my skin type but it made my makeup underneath cake-like. Also, it arrived cracked. I was surprised at the low quality of the product since all tarte products I’ve tried are good.

Powder on the face of a 66 year old isn’t pretty. Powder settles in lines and makes your face look like cracked plaster. So, this isn’t really powder, it’s magical fairy dust that sets your makeup, making it look natural, helping it to last all day. Yes, it comes in a compact and with a pressed powder appearance, but don’t be fooled. Trust me, it’s magical!

This is great powder and I purchased this to carry in my purse while traveling. However, I find that the brush hardly picks up any of the powder.

Set my face tape foundation nicely, completely transparent and all day mattifying in my typically oily zone without making me look 100 years old. I was using too much initially bc it’s hard to see on the brush. That’s the only downside - you don’t really know how much you’re using because it’s so transparent until there’s a big divot in it 2 days after opening it. But it works!

This is my 3rd time buying it. Tried other brands but find myself coming back to this. It gives really smooth finish and keeps my skin matte but not tok drying.

I love that this powder is white and blends in with my foundation.

This powder is so light weight and just seals the deal on your makeup. No more heavy powders. Tarte has is down pat!

I tested this for a bout a week prior to writing this.

The packaging is so cute and I loved the brush it came with; however, I found that the product does not transfer to the brush well at all and I didn't see a difference in my skin while using this product. In my opinion it was not worth the money and this is why I am returning it.

I will say the the customer service at tarte is awesome!

The finishing powder works great to set the amazonian foundation. It doesn't break me out, so its good for sensitive skin. Also works great for touch ups to avoid that dreaded end of the day grease face. Highly recommend it!

Light and a good compliment to the clay foundation

I always go back to this finishing powder! I received the loose powder version in past ipsy bags, and I decided to try the pressed version! Much more convenient than the loose for my lifestyle! One thing to be careful with: use caution just tossing it carelessly into your makeup bag. It does break apart fairly easily if you do that. Otherwise, it holds together and lasts a long time!
