Easy application and great look!

I usually use these as a topper, though I’ve used them once or twice as my only lid product. I wear mostly dark eyeshadows, so these add a bit of dimension with a light sparkle. They are lovely!

I’m not usually one to put on eye shadow, I can never get the desired results and I’m horrible at blending, but then I found the sea glass eyeshadow and it changed my makeup routine. It’s simple to put on and stays for hours. Definitely one of my favorite tarte products!

It lasts 6 months after opening, but how long can it last BEFORE opening? Because it is limited edition unfortunately and I would need to stock up for long enough for you realize you need to make these colors permanent! (Or someone else realizes you are leaving a big gap in the market and makes something comparable.)

I have not opened mine yet, I bought in September. I think the 6 month time frame is a suggestion like they say don’t use mascara more than 6 months, but I do. I use it till it’s gone!! I think it’s a suggestion for the sake of liability - so if you don’t use it in a “clean way” and you end up with an eye infection, you can’t bkame them. Also, CoverFX does make a very similar product in much bigger bottles called Shimmer Veil - I LOVE IT!

I’m Very confused about the shades here. Are these the same The rain forest of the sea, sea glass Eyeshadows? Found here - https://tartecosmetics.com/EU/en_GB/new-arrivals/rainforest-of-the-sea-seaglass-eyeshadow/1535.html?cgid=new-arrivals I only ask because both products pages have the same shade names, but some of the shades look different when you compare both pages and match up the names. For example, ‘Night Dive’ on this page is described as ‘bronze’ and the swatch of this shade does indeed look bronze. However, on the other link I posted, the shade is described as ‘a metallic iridescent light pink’ and indeed the swatch that is named ‘night dive’ does look like a light pink. I understand some of the shades might be sold out on the other page and not showing up to purchase, but having the different coloured swatches, with the same names, is very confusing and offputting. So, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, that's correct! All of the full size shades are identical to those in this set- with the exception of night dive. The full size version is a light iridescent pink unlike the bronze shade featured here. So sorry for the confusion!

I’m sorry to hear this is occurring. I haven’t had the same experience. It stays put on my eyes. However with different skin types, sometimes with things like glitter can be a bit tricky. With some of my clients I with apply primer (I recommend Tarte’s eye primer because it is amazing and also cancels out any eyelid discoloration. Then use the eye shadows you intend to use. Last step would be glitter & what I have found is some people need to use glitter glue prior to any type of glitter application, even if it’s a liquid glitter eyeshadow. I’ve found with some of my clients this does the trick. You truly only need a very small amount to pat on the lid then apply the liquid glitter shadow. This should prevent any fallout. It’s well worth the extra step to keep it in place. Again this is not going to happen to everyone. Everyone’s skin is different and produces oils at different rates. Also sweat and other factors come into play. I would also suggest to try not touch your eye area after makeup is applied. Finish with a good setting spray as well. Hope this helps!!!

I have had good luck using a glitter glue with the seaglass eyeshadows. I make sure I put them on with a tacky or wet base. The hardest part is not touching your eyes all day. I have allergies so I tend to rub them and as with any liquid glitter shadow, they will have fallout or flake if I touch a lot.

I found that a little product went a long way! I applied with a finger and spread it. It sets very quickly!

BEST ANSWER: This lasts for at least 24 hours. Mine has looked perfect the next morning if I am too tired to wash my face before going to bed. It’s pretty amazing stuff!

BEST ANSWER: Nope to both of your questions! Huge sparkle before and after they’re applied. My only note would be to wear a shadow primer under them as they can migrate to the crease in my eyelid a little without a primer. Otherwise you will NOT be disappointed! ✨

I do a finger application and have no trouble with creasing or flaking. They are just as shiny on as upon application. The colors and shine are alot prettier in person then in the pic.

Yes, I wanted to like this a lot more, but the liquid glide does not maintain as well as I'd prefer. Wish I could exchange honestly. Tarte has great products.

BEST ANSWER: I enjoy them. They have a very bold, glitter-filled look when applied, and I've gotten several complements. If you want something a bit more subtle, they are at least somewhat blendable while they're still wet, so work quickly.
