My favorite eyeshadow ever!
I am absolutely in love with the rainforest of the sea sizzle eyeshadow palette!! I could honestly say I don’t know how I survived using makeup before using this palette! The colors and pigment are amazing ~ the eyeshadow last for 12+ hours even without primer. I love this awesome product and I definitely recommend!

This palette is just so beautiful, from the packaging to the inside. I love the shimmery colours and they are pigmented and very easily blendable as the classic tarte eyeshadows. The colours give a very feminie soft look. I am fair enough to use the darkest shade but if you do like more contrast, you may need to supplement with another darker colour from another palette. Overall, gorgeous palette.

Too much glitter
Great product, but the colors are just not for me. Too orange, too glittery, and are more brown orange than the color in the palate. For example, the purple, shimmery one I thought was going to look purply with some shimmer, but when I put it on it is a brownish orange color. It was just horrid on my eyes. Plus this product oxidizes as the day goes on--more orange and brown. I wish I had returned it. I am just disappointed.

This is a gorgeous Palette. The component is beautiful in and of itself. The shades are amazing and so buildable. You can gi very subtle or full glam. It's a great one to take traveling because of the sturdy case

These colors are so pretty. They’re perfect for finger blending, not so much a brush but I love that. The shimmers are gorgeous but I recommend using your fingers

Love the colors in this palette! I love pinks and purples and these colors look so pretty on me. I love blending the lighter and medium colors over my lids and in the crease and using the darker colors as eye liner when used with a wet liner brush.

This one is in a promotion & completes my rainforest of the sea collection , therefore I can’t convince myself to not splurge. It’s gorgeous in the picture. You can use brushes instead of fingers but it works best to apply the summer shades with your fingers. If you would prefer to just use the brushes then you can wet them beforehand with setting spray, so you can still achieve a nice pigmented look.

I would personally only apply make up with brushes, especially these glitter colors. Don't do as "self-taught" beauty artists do and apply your make up with your hands/fingers, especially not your eye makeup. I would recommend buying a few sizes of eye brushes, and play with then yourself to see what works for you 😉😉

Of course you can, i use a little bit of setting spray on the tip of my makeup brush then I get some of the eyeshadow on my brush and apply it to my eyelid, this is the best way to apply this in my experience with these eyeshadows.

You can definitely use both brushes and fingers. I recommend using your fingers for the really sparkly colors. And a brush for the mattes. I feel like you get much better color payoff with your fingers though.

While the colors do look beautiful when applied with your fingers, I always prefer using a brush and they go on great with a brush, too. The shimmery colors go on better if you wet the brush first.

You definite can use brushes, but it won't give you the same intense wet-effect for the shimmers that you get when you swipe with your fingertip. Brushes work very well for the matte colors!

BEST ANSWER: These are metallic and soft metallics used in our Sizzle Eyeshadow palette, so no glitter. They are easily applied with a brush or your fingers from the buttery cushion formula. A great trick is to spray your brush with one of our setting sprays, like our 4in1 Rainforest of the sea mist or our Ready Set Radiant Skin Mist to get a foiled look with the metallic color shadows. No this palette does not have any pressed glitter in it. It does have a few metallic and matte shades that are beautiful. Also the formula in this palette is infused with coconut oil to insure intense moisture and a rich buttery cushion like feel.

It’s a decent size and will last a while. I’d say the diameter of the palette is about 4inches or something like that. Each eyeshadow color is big enough so that a larger eyeshadow brush can easily fit without mixing into the colors next to it.

That being said, it's only worth it if you like at least half the colors. Of course it's a lot to expect that one would like every color in a palette (we all know we have those few favorites), but as long as you have those few it's def worth it.

This is a real go-to palette, for me. I can use it for any occasion - day or night. It blends well, and applies easily. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I do feel it is worth the price, but if you can catch it on sale, even better. Also - the packaging is just beautiful.

Omg yes. It's beautiful! I can't say anything but good things about it. I bought one for my friend also, and she adores it. She's fair with red hair. I'm fair with light brown hair. It looks great on both of our complexions!
