Favorite mascara ever "My favorite mascara. I have tried so many brands and this one is the best. Doesn’t clump and I love how easily it comes off. It doesn’t smear when removing or throughout the wear. I have oily skin and it doesn’t smudge over my top lid like other mascaras. Makes my lashes look long and voluminous. Lovely color selection and easy to remove mascara "Love this mascara in every color I have tried including black, magenta, electric blue and emerald green. Pairing the magenta with Tarte's Maneater Eyeliner (in shade Plum) is perfection. Emerald Green is a striking color too. What's great about this mascara is that it's easy to take off the next day. Do not buy. "I had high hopes for this mascara. I have straight lashes. They are short but will hold a curl with a good waterproof mascara. The before and afters advertised looked promising but after immediate application my lashes fell even after using a curler. They didn’t appear longer and looked super clumpy. The best mascara for longer lashes! "The material of the tube feels so expensive! It survived a heavy rainy day and stayed in place as it was applied in the beginning of the day! The tubing mascara is one of my favorites. "I have hooded 49 year old eyes. The wand brush on the mascara is thing enough to not get mascara all over my lids. The formula is great too. I never have flaking and my lashes stay curled all day. Gives a good bit of volume but the lengthening is outstanding. Lasts all day and doesn’t get crusty." — MANDIE E. (5/5)
Tube broken and poor coverage "Initially, I really liked the tarte primer and mascara. However after using it a couple times it became more difficult to cover up all the white primer. The primer goes on white and no matter how many times I’d go over the base with the black mascara, I just couldn’t cover up very small sections or the tip of the lashes with black. Additionally, the small insert that scrapes the excess off the stick disconnected, so now it’s not even usable anyway." — Kylie O. (1/5)
Disappointing "This mascara seemed reasonable upon first use but when I tried to remove it I realised that it does not remove like some of the good tubing mascaras I have used, ie: easily. Usually the mascara breaks down into tiny flecks or pieces with a bit of warm water and is easily washed away but this smears it around leaving me either rubbing alot around the delicate eye area until the skin is a bit sore or using something to remove the residue, adding another step to the process. Additionally very quickly the mascara became clumpy, thick and tacky. , especially if I try to build up the coat with further swipes. I would not purchase this mascara a second time." — KN (2/5)
