use the dome pointed tip for full face application & the flat end to pack on extra coverage, carve out contour & bake the undereye

How To Use

Use with babassu foundcealer™ skincare foundation (sold separately).

after dispensing foundation to the back of your hand, pick up product with the dome side of dampened sponge & tap onto skin from the center outward for flawless light-to-medium coverage
use the flat end to pack on extra coverage, carve out contour & bake the undereye

Best sponge ever!

Bought as a gift for my daughter, she has had many different brands of sponges. Said the babassu is by far the best she has used. Blends foundation and concealer smooth and evenly, cleans out easily. Will most definitely purchase again. Highly recommend!

Does the unique shape of this sponge help blend out the product better?

BEST ANSWER: The flat end is super convenient because of how much more product applies. I was REALLY surprised at the amount. It would be absolutely perfect for carving out a contour, too. The tiny edges are perfect for around the eyes and nostrils, especially if you’re detail-oriented/don’t want to get your eyelashes covered in concealer. At first, I thought those edges were difficult to use, but soon, I loved them. I just got this, and I don’t think I’ll ever want an egg-shaped blender again. :)

No, it does not blend any better or worse than all the other sponges the shape really isn't that helpful. You could reach the same areas of the face with the traditional egg shaped sponge.

How does this sponge stand up to cleaning? I’ve tried other brands and sponge sometimes falls apart during cleaning/scrubbing

BEST ANSWER: It's the same. The first time I cleaned it a small piece of the corner tore off. I still use it as I love the way it applies foundation. I started using a distilled white vinegar and blue Dawn dish soap solution to clean my brushes and sponges and it melts the makeup right off so I don't need to clean as vigorously. That's helped tremendously to keep my sponges in tact.

Used daily and cleaned often, usually weekly with my brushes. Cleaned with brush/blender solution. Looks almost new after every cleaning, holds up well to being cleaned often. Definitely has held up better than any others previously used. Highly recommend!

BEST ANSWER: We recommend using your favorite brush and sponge shampoo, and rubbing gently over the Sugar Rush Brush Bestie Brush Cleaning Matte under running water. Squeeze the sponge until the water runs clear, and then allow to air dry in an open space :)

I run the sponge under warm water and add a little dawn dishwashing soap to both palms and then gently rub the sponge between my two flat palms. It sudses up and you rinse and squeeze gently. Beware of your nails!

I think it is good for all products. I use the wider in for foundation and the skinny year-end for concealer and setting powder

BEST ANSWER: Hi Brittany! Our babassu foundcealer multi-tasking sponge is shaped liked that to give a custom coverage. Use the flat end to pack on extra coverage, carve out contour and bake the under eye. For a flawless light-to-medium coverage pickup product with the dome side of dampened sponge and tap onto skin from the center outward.

BEST ANSWER: Depending on how much you use and clean your sponge, i usually change my sponges every two weeks. That is cleaning them every day.
