I didn't think I had a pore problem until I tried the cleanser and this toner. I only tried it because I was out of toner and it was recommended to me. It tingles, which I like. It leaves my face red for a while, which I don't love. But, it absolutely makes my skin look fabulous!

Hands down the best toner! When I was going through a cystic, acne problem, this stuff saved my life! It was the only thing that worked! I was on prescriptions and everything, and this stuff took away my cystic, acne! If anyone has ever had cystic acne you will understand how painful, unsightly, and difficult to deal with, but this stuff handled it like a pro! Hands-down recommend this product to everyone, unless you have super sensitive skin. I currently no longer suffer from cystic acne, but still use this daily! Cannot go wrong with purchasing this product! Can’t recommend it enough!

I am currently on my fifth or sixth bottle. This product is so good and reliable for reducing bumpy and textured skin, minimizing breakouts overnight, and clearing up my skin. This has been my most reliable overnight acne product for the past few years.

The best serum I have used on my sensitive very combination skin (dry zones very dry, oily zones very oily). I use it once a week and it’s been a game changer for my skin. Make sure to follow with your fav moisturizer

This is great for those with sensitive skin. I’ve gotten chemical peels in the past and could barley tolerate the lowest percentage, I tried glycolic, salicylic & lactic acids. I did at home spot treatment with those as well and it worked but was painful and the burning was bad. This product is absolutely amazing and so so gentle. Definitely turns your face bright red after so I suggest doing it at night only but leaves my skin looking matte the next day then I usually shave my face on night 2 or 3 and all the tiny blackheads clear out! I definitely suggest moisturizing too every night since it will make your skin slightly dry and tight but the Baba Bomb works so great for that! Just get it you won’t regret it, I use it 2x per week now and have seen such a huge difference in clearing my skin!

It definitely does tingle every time I use it. My skin is pretty reactive so I just use it at night a few times a week because it does make my skin red. But by the morning it’s it’s normal color. I feel like the texture has improved and is very soft. I typically use this after I wash my face, then a hylauronic serum, and a moisturizer at night. It does have a strange smell, but it’s not unbearable.

I ordered this by complete accident & I love it! Don’t be swayed by negative reviews, everyone’s skin is different & yes sometimes those with sensitive skin can get irritated. I have sensitive & reactive skin & I slowly introduced AHAs/BHAs into my skincare routine & my skin is LESS sensitive because of it. Yes you read that right. This is a literally a knockout product in its category & gives you amazing results. Perfect little toner to use in the am before makeup & on days I’m not using my retinol. I’ve always been a tarte makeup fan but I’m LOVING their skincare now too!

The best toner I have ever used! No breakouts, no irritating and together with the knockout cleanser a must have! I use it every morning and it keeps my skin clean and clear. Reduces the pores and refines skin texture.

I am close to 39 and spoiled myself for a few months with trips to the salon for facials. My skin was introduced to chemical peels and the amazingness that happens over time with consistent application.

This is a bit like that experience! If you’ve never had a peel, some of the comments here can seem shocking. When I read them, they remind me of my first peel experience. This contains a strong-ish dose of salicylic acid, intended to penetrate past the top layer of skin. It’s definitely going to tingle, and if you’re not used to it, it can leave redness. Added to it is lactic acid which sloughs away dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin. Fan your face while it dries! At the salon the used blowers on my face :D

I suggest starting slow if you’re new to acids/peels or have sensitive skin. Once a week at first. Test a small spot of skin to check for how your skin will take it. If needed, wash it off like a mask after 5-10 min instead of sleeping with it. Give your skin time to acclimate— it will and you’ll love it!

My first chemical peel was left on for about 30 seconds before washing off. My skin was red and irritated that day and the next, and I had dry flaky patches. I did not exfoliate (the peel was already doing that over the next few days). I gently washed daily, moisturized several times a day and wore sunscreen. After a few sessions my skin became accustomed to the peels and we were able to move to stronger peels without removing. This treatment is not nearly as intense, but could feel somewhat similar if it’s a new experience for you.

I know this tip may not work for everyone, but worth considering if this is new. Lots of great ingredients here- try it! Start slow and work up :) I miss going to the salon and how fab my skin was during that time. I think this will help me find my glow agrian

My first step is too use Tarte Knockout Daily Exfoliating Cleaser, then step while drying off and having my face just a little damp I use the Tarte Knockout tingling Treatment! Along with the Cleanser these two products and two others my face is clear! Within a week my face became brighter and absolutely no more blackheads/pores! Miracle products! I’ll never switch!

This stuff RUINED my skin. I got a sample and only used it one time. Yes, I used it correctly. It instantly started burning and turned my face bright red. I cleansed my face 3 times, and nothing helped. It's been over 2 months since then, and the redness returns each time I do my skincare routine (regardless of what products I use. I have stopped using acids for now, and that seems to help *a little*). This product eviscerated my skin barrier, and I'm very, very upset about it.

For reference, I don't have sensitive skin, and this hasn't happened with any other product.

I have since learned that it's a red flag if a brand says, "if it's tingling, it's working."

This product is NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN! It was burning, not tingling. My face got very red and painful like a bad sunburn immediately and stayed like that for hours after I tried this product. The day after yes sure I could feel my skin smoother and it looked bright and even but it also felt very tight and uncomfortable and slightly itchy. I absolutely do not recommend this product for sensitive skin.

A little tingle but great for clearing up my face after the breakouts from wearing a mask every day.

Wow! Amazing! Knockout is crazy good but to he honest, I never thought I could use acids in my face to make any real difference. Boy was I wrong. I’ve tried other brands’ stuff which is formulated with acids and supposed to “transform” the skin but all I ever got out of it was a broken skin barrier, flaky skin and acne. Something is very different with Knockout. I’ve read about Biologique Recherche P50 and all the rave reviews but that price? Umm, nope. So when I saw on a dupe site that Knockout is 99% the same as the BR P50, I was intrigued and after a couple weeks, very impressed as well! I use this every morning (some may want to use it at night) and I always make sure I use a serum and moisturizer after that contains ceramides. Maybe that’s why I can tolerate it? Not sure. I’m not about to mess everything up to see otherwise. I have the clearest, smoothest, glowy skin I have ever had (even more than with Retin-A) and I will be a repeat customer forever! Please tarte, don’t ever discontinue Knockout!! :)

This product saved my face. I have super sensitive skin and started getting break out on my chin. This cleared my whole face and my pores have shrunk dramatically. This is now a staple in my night time routine.

Got this as a sample and just used for the first time. My face is swollen with red blotches all over it! Feels like my skin got burned! I get chemical peels all the time so I do not have sensitive skin. Just a warning for others, read the reviews!

Got this as a sample. Cleansed face, applied a small amount & skin immediately showed bright red blotches. Washed face again &:blotches remained for about 2 hours. Didn't notice any real tingling but this went in the trash

I loved this product. It reduced pores and it was totally light weight. I use it every other morning. It can cause a bit of tingliness when you first use it but it has acids so thats bound to happen.

This product leaves my sin flawless. Cleans out my pores and closes them up. I highly recommend this product!!!!

My skin is pretty tough, I wouldn’t call it sensitive at all. I have done all kinds of treatments and products but lemme tell ya HOLY HANNAH this stuff BURNS ?????? It’s not a tingle, it’s fire on my face! I have had this bottle for 6-9 months and I’ve tried it so many different ways and different times of the month, different skincare routines and every time it’s hotter than hades. I figured I might need to get used to it but there’s no getting used to this sensation. I finally chucked it into the bin. Be warned if you have sensitive skin (or not) this is not the product for you.

When I bought this product I did not read the ingredients carefully. I should know better by now, since I have sensitive skin. The day after applying I have a bright red rash on my neck and décolleté. I see now that sulfur is an ingredient. I have a known allergy to the Sulfa antibiotic and probably should have stayed away! I am glad it works for some but probably should have a warning “not for use on sensitive skin.”

I have light, sensitive, combination, acne prone skin. Knockout tingling treatment definitely reduces my breakouts. However, I can’t give it 5 stars since I burns my skin and has a tendency to make it look red and irritated. I have had other people try it and they did not have the same reactions to it. So basically this product is good but I would not recommend it for sensitive skin.

I have rosacea and sensitive skin. After applying this product my skin immediately got red and Enflamed like a rash. It itched and burned so bad I had to wash it off. Do not recommend.

Burned my face, my face went all red including my neck and almost ballooned my face. Definitely not tingling. Such a shame as never had an issue with a tarte product

I’m obsessed with this product! Keeps my complexion bright and clear. The first week I used it the tingling was a little intense, but your skin acclimated quickly and starts improving really fast! I’ve had troublesome skin my whole life and this product has been a serious game changer.

This is excellent. I have used this for a few weeks now. My skin appears brighter and softer. I suffer with blackheads on my nose and these appear reduced. It really does tingle. At first, I thought it was stinging but after a few uses my skin got used to the 'tingle'. My skin does appear red and blotchy about ten minutes after use but by the morning my skin appears clear and supple. I would only recommended using this before bed. I don't use any moisturiser for a more intensive treatment. I would buy this again!

I was under the impression by the description that it's an exfoliating cleanser, but it's not. It's more of a toner. It smells weird, kind of sour, has an oily texture to it, and doesn't feel tingly. However, I did use it overnight and my face feels softer, in combination of use with my skin routine. not bad, might keep trying it out

I saw this while browsing a skincare sale here a while back and thought it might be a good product for my skin. About a month ago, as the weather turned drier and my skin started breaking out for no apparent reason, I knew I needed to order this stat. And wow! It does everything advertised---balances skin, minimizes pores, and overall my skin looks and feels healthier. After cleansing my face at night, I follow this with the Deep Sea Collagen Super Serum and it's the perfect combination (I have literal combination skin... oily plus flakes... and it dries out even more during the winter months---these two together help keep my skin balanced and moisturized).

ever since I stopped taking birth control I started having MAJOR acne problems, I haven't had anything like that for years. This product seemed to instantly show results with my skin not getting messier and pimples started quickly drying out without drying the rest of my face. beware though, first time the tingling can get really intense, I looked like I had a full face rash for an hour lol every other time was MUCH better and never felt as uncomfortable. I do recommend!

I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks and can already tell a big difference in my 56 year old face! My skin looks smoother, brighter and my pores seem smaller. It stings a bit when I put it on and my face gets a little red but it only lasts a few minutes and then subsides. In the morning my skin is brighter and the redness is gone. So reading other reviews i’m kind of surprised. I’ve always had sensitive skin, and this product didn’t bother me at all. Actually, I felt absolutely nothing when I used it. No tingling, no burning, nothing at all. The first few times my skin looked good so I kept using it, but like another review said I swear my skin started getting more oily the longer I used it. I don’t know if it was related or not but now I’m wondering

Works amazingly... When I think I've washed all my makeup off, this product finds more. I've noticed a significant change in my skin appearance after adding this to my skin ridgmen. This is a most have, must buy, kind of product.

I really like this product. Didn't notice immediate effects until a month or so of using it but my skin definitely looks better. The tingling sensation is light and not uncomfortable and I will be purchasing this product again.

I absolutely love the knockout treatment! totally minimizes pores and smooths out skin texture! I use this almost daily. I will skip it if I use a mask or other harsher products on my face! definitely feel it working but so if you have super sensitive skin might not be for you.

Okay, here was my situation... I’m in my late 30s and I have tremendously oily skin. All my life I have never found anything that would control the oil. Usually I could put on make up and 2hours later it’s gone and I’m wiping away the oil, cause it’s getting in my eyes! But this treatment is amazing!!! I absolutely love this!!! I have the whole set, the face wash, tingling treatment and the moisturizer. It controls my oil superbly! I never thought they made anything like this! Now, if it doesn’t sting then it’s not working. I'm not sure what this product is supposed to do, but it didn't tingle (it burned) and it smells like peroxide. I didn't notice any improvements in skin.

This has helped get rid of my mask acne! It also improved my skin texture. I make sure to moisturize after so my skin doesn’t get too dry. It has become my go to and I’m so happy I found it!

It says tingling, but I would say it burns. Still, it works really well!
