48 Dewy beautiful coverage "I have used every Tarte foundation for over 2 decades. This is by far my favorite! I’m 48 and menopausal with problematic skin, and this gives me the coverage I want. My skin is dewy, and glowing without any settlement in my fine lines. It feels like my skin, but better!! It covers the redness without feeling chalky or cakey. I have acne prone skin too but no breakouts with this one. It is a thinner foundation like a tinted serum. I found that applying with a good makeup sponge is much better than a brush or fingertips. Start in the center of your cheeks dabbing the sponge. Don’t smear or it will apply patchy/streaks. As you dab continue outwards and upwards covering your eyes, temples, nose, chin, forehead. I add additional makeup as needed to achieve my coverage desired. Then use a setting powder using a Tarte brush. Perfect 👌 and you will love it if 40+. Coverage lasts all day but I would not call this sweat proof by any means. Coverage is light to moderate. Still an excellent foundation that I hope Tarte continues to make. No bueno "I was influenced by the video that showcased this timeless hydrating foundation. It looked awesome. My experience using this product was nothing like what the video displayed. I followed the instructions shaking the bottle and applied with the brush and basically got zero coverage. It was very patchy and the brush even shed on the first try. . . very disappointing. Light and easy! "Love this duo! T The foundation is light and thin without being water with a soft glow (if i dont use my DM balm as a primer, i get very shiny by the end of the day). Patchy "This foundation looks great upon application. It does dry down quickly, so you need more than I would have thought. Applying setting powder also looks great! Except only for an hour or two. Super soft and light "I am in love! I have tried several of tarte’s foundations and I love them all. This one is my favorite though. It leaves my skin so soft and has just the right amount of coverage. If my face is broken out I may have to use concealer or go back to a foundation with more full coverage but outside of that, for everyday wear, this is the one! I did start with the poreless primer that has the roll on applicator and the two together definitely did exactly what it says it does. I actually forgot to put on moisturizer when I was running late for work and put these on in a hurry once I got to my office. Usually I would have flaky skin if I put makeup on but I don’t at all.
